There's more proof that we did go to the moon than we didn't. My grandfather worked a bit on it so I have to think so.

But I'm not going to argue with you.

my answer - why should we listen to the OPs clear argument from ignorance and incredulity ?

Then don't.

You still have free choice, although very little.

It's hard to believe but you can watch rockets take off from Florida live.

What happens after that who really knows.

Can you elaborate on what exactly your point here is?

The lander looks flimsy, so we didn't go to the moon, is this what this is about?

Apollo 11 did go to the moon.

Yes, the men that endeavored to travel to the moon and back were very brave men.
Some if them (not the ones on Apollo 13) landed and came back.
No, I would not have been brave enough to do what they did, I would have been terrified the whole time if I had been forced to do it.
One tiny thing goes wrong and you die.
Hats off to all the brave women and men that have risked their lives to travel in space.... and continue to do so!

Did you know Neil Armstrong the first man on the moon, has given hardly any interviews about his time on the moon.

He is wheeled out when needed to make a quote.

If you really went to the Moon you would be on every TV channel going on and on about it.

You wouldn't be able to shut up about it.

Ever.

I am curios, in this day and age. With what we know about space exploration. Would anyone really get in this Apollo 11 Lander if was told it goes to the moon?

No. I would want something created in this era, with existing technology. Setting foot in that thing is brave, but bloody psychotic.

Well then I guess you'd also not be willing to take a ride in one of the Wright Flyers and you'd probably consider the first steam train to be operating at lethal velocity.
I could go on but I think you get the point

Aaand there it is!

Hey OP, did you know that soil samples brought back by one of the Russian landers was virtually identical to that from Apollo 12?

I doubt you did, and in fact I doubt you care!

I know it did.

The OP believes differently though, and his case so far is pretty weak.

Have a close look and try not to laugh.

It is falling to bits already.

Aluminium foil, warping paper and egg boxes.

I'm sorry but I have to laugh.

You are aware his name was spelled 'Neil' right?
Also, he's actually dead now.
He was a very shy and private person who wasn't interested in public adoration.
They also did land on the moon in that lander.
The Apollo 11 Shuttle got them 99.5 percent of the way from earth to the moon though.
You seem to be coming from a position of intense ignorance, which is very, very cringeworthy.
You should do some reading on the mission.
