you are saying on US soil...

ICBMs the MIRVs are programmed to detonate at some above-the-ground altitude... same with high-altitude EMP weapons

so a nuclear attack on the ground of the USA can only imply that a nuclear-fueled power generating plant will do what Fukushima has done (core melt down/ China Syndrome)


so we are left with either physical sabotage OR failures of mechanical or system protocol (perhaps by cyber hacking or another case of sabotage by nut cases /sleaze balls having access to sensitive areas

so far...the 'nuclear attack on US soil' might be by :
accident - 33% chance
hostility - 66% chance
