Hi folks, happy April Fools Day.
Since it's a day of pranks and funny endeavors, I thought I might ask,
What's the funniest comedy you have ever seen?
My favorite funny movie of all time is, The Man who Knew too Little. It stars funny man Bill Murray and it had me laughing up a storm,
www.imdb.com...
My number two comedy choice is Bowfinger, with Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin among other famous people,
www.imdb.com...
A movie that isn't a comedy that had me laughing so hard it hurt was, Someone Behind the Door, with Anthony Perkins and Charles Bronson,
www.imdb.com...
So, even if it's not a comedy, what movie had you laughing and what do you consider your favorite funny movie?
Have a safe and funny April 1st everybody!

I loved the British version of Death at a Funeral... Oh gosh, Alan Tudyk. I love his character so much, I was in tears of laughter several times at his antics.

Hot Shots! is one of my all-time favourite comedies! The Admiral!!

Braindead is a... Z-grade!... horror comedy, but I love it to bits. A favourite since I was a child. (A family member walked in on me watching it, at a rather disgusting bit of the movie, literally ran out of the room gagging... one of my old friends can't watch past a certain point in it... and ohmygosh, other people's reactions alone. So many giggles.)

a reply to: rockintitz 😃The trailer for Hot Rod just made m laugh! Before you put the trailers up I looked up Hot Rod and found a movie from I think the 70's... it wasn't a comedy and wondered what was funny about it. The 2007 movie looks like silly fun! Thanks for the recommendations!

Either Bachelor Party with Tom Hanks or the first Porky's movie.

Both of those movies had me in tears.

The Braindead movie would have me barely looking at the screen it seems... it might be funny to watch me squirming, I have a very hard time with gore!
Thank you for posting!

The funniest I've seen recently is Deadpool. Even the credits are funny.

I've seen a lot of those and laughed at most of them. Hot Shots! and The Man Who Knew Too Little especially.

I think the movie I laughed the most too, though, if I can recall, could be wrong, was:

Airplane

I was a kid, but still remember laughing so hard at that movie.

All of the Police Academies:

My second would probably have to be The Jerk

I always tell people to not over hype a movie.

I over hyped hot rod and it still exceeded expectations.

That's how you know it's good

a reply to: TerryMcGuire I remember watching Monty Python movies when I was young, but can't seem to get into them these days. I do like Time Bandits, The Adventures of Baron Munchousen, and Brazil... don't think these are comedies but made by some of the same folks as the Monty Python people.
Thanks for sharing!

My BF might want to watch The Meaning of Life, so maybe I'll give it a go!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

That movie was a riot! And a classic!

Oh, and I can't leave this off. Now that I remember, it always has the family laughing every time we watch it:
