The Workers’ Party of North Korea has recently issued a document from Pyongyang to provincial bodies that condemns Beijing for taking part in UN sanctions against the North and openly rallies Party members toward nuclear conflict with China. Daily NK has obtained a copy of one of the mass-delivered documents published by the Central Party and circulated to provincial Party committees via Sino-North Korea relations expert Lee Young Hwa, a professor at Kansai University, earlier this week. The document appears to outline a new doctrine on policies toward China and is dated March 10, 2016. “The Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea has handed down a message openly lashing out against China and commanding its people to actively confront it with a ‘nuclear storm’,” Lee explained. The document was reportedly distributed and read aloud throughout North Korea by provincial Party secretaries overseeing provincial Party committee meetings. An approximate translation of the title of the document is, “All Party members and workers must join in soundly crushing China’s pressuring schemes with the force of a nuclear storm for its betrayal of socialism.” The document goes on to explain that China has “been an eager participant” in the sanctions because it is “worried that its status of dominance in Northeast Asia will be challenged,” adding that these actions call for active resistance against Beijing’s anti-North plot. Appearing to reflect on Sino-North Korea relations, the document states, “China had never once been sincere towards the North, especially when its revolutionary efforts ran into challenges and struggles”. It adds, “Just as our great suryong [great or supreme leaders] have taught us, we must not have even the smallest fantasies about China’s intentions.” “We must no longer go easy on the Chinese and instead deal with them equally in order to change their attitude of taking us lightly,” another part reads. The document then orders members to “unite more firmly around Marshal Kim Jong Un and fight to the very end for final victory in our juche revolutionary feat, even if graver hardships and difficulties blow this way.” This document indicates that the North has now declared China to be an ‘enemy state,’ placing it on the same ranks as South Korea, the U.S., and Japan, Professor Lee explained. “It has now positioned the U.S. as the ‘feared enemy’ and China as the ‘detested enemy’,” he said. The use of the term “nuclear storm” also indicates it is threatening Beijing with nuclear and missile provocations, Lee added. North Korea and China had maintained close ties since the signing of the 1961 Sino-North Korean Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance, but this new declaration in effect announces an end to that agreement, the professor asserted. “There is a high possibility that Sino-North Korea relations will not only deteriorate, but lead to tensions as well,” he surmised.

The following is an approximate translation of the policy resolution drawn up by the Central Party Committee and dictated to its citizens (dated March 10, 2016):

Under the superior leadership of our revered supreme commander Marshal Kim Jong Un, our motherland has now confidently entered the ranks of nuclear states completely equipped with a hydrogen bomb and various kinds of miniaturized nuclear bombs. Utterly shocked at this, China, has rushed to take part in United Nations sanctions, worried that its dominant status in Northeast Asia will be challenged. The current political climate calls for all Party members and workers to firmly stand up against China’s hostile schemes against the great Chosun (DPRK) through political, military, and economic actions in Northeast Asia. When looking back on our revolutionary history, not once has China been sincere towards us when our revolutionary efforts ran into challenges and struggles. Just as our great Suryong leaders have taught us, we must not have even the smallest fantasies about China. We must no longer go easy on the Chinese and instead deal with them on the same footing in order to change their attitude of taking us lightly. All Party members and workers, let us unite more firmly around Marshal Kim Jong Un and fight with all our might to the very end for final victory in our juche revolutionary feat, even if graver hardships and difficulties blow this way, with the deep loyalty and strong belief that so long as our dear Marshal is with us, we will always see victory!

So, has NK finally completely lost it, or are they just responding this way because of Obama's recent talks with China's Xi Jinping?

I usually just brush off the threats that NK makes but it seems they have been getting more and more bold. To threaten China now, seems like it will shake things up in that part of the world.

I have yet hear Russia's response to this new threat so if you got any links let me know.

I'll believe it when China nukes it and the spillover into S. Korea doesn't utterly destroy them and provide a pretext for further Chinese militaristic expansion into the entire region.

This, if true is fantastic news !
The yappy dog has just opened the gate and exposed itself to real world smacks on the snout.

Should fat boy decide it would be wise to attack Sth. Korea or Japan, China may now act against them-
in unison with US allies in quickly smothering any N. Korean aggression, as it knows its border with NK is a security blanket for the orb, and does not wish for any skirmish to get that close.

China with gloves off would quickly have him in line.

It has to happen at some stage, human rights violations are being ignored whilst we de-stabilise the ME.

Time to silence the yappy dog.

This is a first, considering that the one main country that has backed and giving North Korea alot of aid, has been China. Something tells me that right now there are a lot of discussions behind the scenes right now, and if the North continues, China may take care of the current government in North Korea, along with aiding in a military/political coup against the current leader.

If North Korea thinks that it can simply insult its greatest ally and get away with it, it may mean something else and cause more problems than it hopes to solve. China is a dragon, mostly sleeping, but has been slowly rumbling and stirring from time to time. They may start to put a choke on North Korea and start with drawing aid and making it harder for North Korea to get such. If this proves to be true.

I think that China has sent a fair amount of money as of late to NK .This may be a BS story to stir up more ill feelings towards NK . NK is a safe buffer for China and they don't mind a bit of support to keep the dogs at bay .

If true

Some of us here have been saying this would come to pass for a few years now.

Let China deal with their Cold War [Now Nuclear armed] throwback backwards communist lap dog.

They helped create that mess, let them clean it up!

They stood by and said nothing while little Kimmy and previously his pops, kept edging closer to having and being able to deliver Nukes.

Have at it Beijing.

Here's a broom and dustpan.

Didn't China throw a heavy division up along the NK border a short while back to settle kimmy down?
Im sure I heard news about it....tho I misremember what it was all aboot....
China would make short work of NK...but it would NOT be cheaply bought....barring a coup or sanity striking the NK leadership...

China put pressure to North Korea.

North Korea will obey, but to save face, responds this way.

There will now be a chinese backed and very powerful coup against that Moron, should be fun to watch but I hope the trouble does not spill over into the south when it happen's, I also hope the Chinese interests in the NK military are still present or it may backfire badly and then lead to a probably pre emptive strike by China if they take this threat seriously.

Agreed. The news bites about NK have been noticeably increasing this month. I think spin is in the works and wonder why.
Distractions are offered for a reason.

China has enough problems, internally and externally. They're stretched thin.

They might have put a limit on aid to North Korea. They might have said, ease up, fatboy.

That would set chubby off.

Lmao! I used to browse their daily news site and it was full of propaganda! We got propaganda in the west, no doubt, but at least ours is sophisticated! They're are light years behind and their website looked like something out of 1998, and that's being generous. So it's good to see they at least updated it!

But now they're declaring their biggest ally an enemy? I don't think China will as leant as the west has been with NoKo's empty threats!
