Politics is a high stakes game, and this year the stakes are really high. Our country is about to either continue the status quo of appeasement, corruption and graft (Hillary), or turn socialist and watch America slide into the pit (Bernie), or Become Great Again (Trump), or clean up Washington (Cruz). Loyalty pledges are just window dressing and if it isn't matching the decor, take them away.

Seems it will just be like every other election.

The dumarbse public vote for a slogan.

"Clean Washington up"

"Make America great again"

Haha

Hope and change , hope and change derp derp.

Campaign slogans are but twitter-type hashtags. Some from the past are hilarious:

George McGovern supporters came up with a good one against Richard Nixon:

George McGovern supporters came up with a clever and vulgar slogan to lambaste President Richard Nixon: “Don’t switch Dicks in the middle of a screw.”

Dang!

Some are downright boring: "Kasich for America" ~~~ yawn

For the GOP Trump splitting off would give them a better chance at keeping the senate and winning some local races and at the White house depending on whom the GOP put forward as a candidate. With Trump as their candidate the GOP is looking at an election disaster at every level. The people they would lose with Trump could be sold as getting ridding of the garbage in the GOP and moderate candidate would bring enough independent votes to more than make up for what they would lose to a Trump third party run. Although the numbers still would not be working for them, they would do better.

If Trump split from the GOP, then there is zero chance that he or the GOP would win the presidential race. Democrats would win by a healthy margin.

I don't believe it would have much effect on Congressional and local races.
