Great to see you got helpful inputs. And just by judging your writing style, it seems that you are already on the way to the bright side.

About your little green friend: I know he is relaxxing and soothing to hang out with.
Then again i made the experience that if he hangs around too much and too often he creates a lot of stress. Especially when after meeting him often and he ssuddenly not around for hours or days. I still like him around, but rather on every second weekend, than allday everyday.

I had phases when i was able to meditate on a daily basis, after a couple of weeks i got on a different level. like really different, uplifting, eye opening AND relaxing and soothing at the same time.

It was moving so much i had tears in my eyes. Tears of joy. And it felt much much better than with the lil green friend. So pure and universal.

as for your little green friend. It's completely fine to use as a tool to help you get back into the meditative state. Just try not to let it become a crutch. If it helps you meditate that is fine, learn from it, just try not to let it become a necessity in order to meditate.
