The ignorance is strong with you, Lord Dense.

I pity you and your feeble mind.

Your comments betray the fact that you are but a sheep.

OK, please elaborate on that, because I am quite sure you are fully ignorant of who I am!!!

BTW, dig very deep, I am very knowledgeable in many fields of study, cultures, religions and sciences!

Plz dig very deep, because at the bottom, you will find a true to the name " truth seeker" and little else but a world class chef, an eidetic memory, strong family values, amazing work ethic and very strong faith in my own countrymen to overcome and out adapt every adversary the world could bring our way!!

But plz, elaborate further in how you know nothing about me!!!

I like your qoute in the bottom of all this "I get it you think you are " special "!!! In reality you are pathetic!!"

Dont agree with it, but it fits well with the post your making

I am glad you enjoy the signature quote, I have it there for folks just like you!!!

Plz continue, between you my steak and my beers I am not sure what I am enjoying more at the moment.

Yes yes, you know everything, we know nothing

Dont worry, i DO think you are a "special" person

Planners have been from the M.E. to my understanding and there have reportedly been coming through so crime is bound to go up. That is of course based of what I am aware of and have seen around ATS and the news.

Well ofcourse there is a lot of problems with immigrants, but IMHO, thats mostly because we have poor leadership, who cant work together, and wont take responsibility to solve this problem in a proper fasion, not so much because of the immigrants themself

My point was only, that we have the exact same problems, with or without immigrants - removing them from the equation, wont solve anything

You are #ing kidding right?

Without the immigrants thousands of EU women wouldn't have been raped groped or otherwise molested!

This is if course not mentioning bombs and bullets that those same immigrants used on EU citizens...

I think you have oxygen deprevation, quick pull your head out of your ass!!!

Your leaders don't make immigrants criminals, their culture causes that, hence their home countries being completely # for about 1,000 years!

So your are a racist, good for you

These because 1 American says somthing, that means we all said it right?

No off course not, its only if 1 muslim does something bad, that we can blame all of them, right? right?

Of course there is culturel differences which causes problems - you might not be able to find a solution to that problem, but iam sure there are other smarter people out there, that might

Did you even get my point, you know the one about europeans blowing up europeans? you know IRA, ROT, Breivik and such? I was only stating that we had problems before the immigrants, so it cant all be their fault, can it?

But dont mind me, iam just a guy with oxygen deprevation exercising my right to free speach..

So pointing out facts about every single Muslim majority country on the planet makes me a racist?

Islam is a religion not a race.... I would laugh but you are so pathetic it makes me want to cry instead!

The IRA has killed how many people in the last 15 years?

Because the IRA is by far the big fish of your pathetic examples.

Did you mean to say something worth reading?

Plz do so at your leisure, because the bs you just remarked is hardly worth responding to!!

And yet you responded, must have hit a nerve or something

Hope i dont make you cry to much

No nerves hit at all, you just seemed to want my particular attention, so I gave it to you.

But can you keep it, that is the question, because without hyperbole, I think you lack true substance, thus I will get bored and abstain from posting further.

I feel for europe, as an american I often think about traveling to europe visiting the sites and witnessing the amazing different cultures. But then the reports of people who do travel to europe are alarming to me. The cultures are dieing the once unique countries are bending over backwards to become the new middle east. When they talk about traveling as an american in europe its almost like its too dangerous now. I'm sure some smart arse will come along and say this is "stormfront extermist" views.

honestly its not and the people who did travel dont hold that belief. They always come back shocked and almost saddened.

Europeans have class and sophistication...

Americans have well... Donuts

Tallyho old man..(carry on)

Would that class and sophistication include the most carnage and death of any continent inflicted on humanity in the 20th century? Now you are headed for another one with your instance that it's just racist to keep Muslim terrorists out of your lands?

Class and sophistication... Hmmm

What irritates me is those here that say we should be more like Denmark.

I get that many really like Denmark. I like Denmark.

I also like ice cream, and I like steak.

But I can't place a scoop of ice cream on the grill and expect the same results.

Steak is steak.
Ice cream is ice cream.

This statement is what stuck-out to me the most:

I can buy my own healthcare. I can pay for my own education. I don’t need free access to anything. I’m a man. I pay my own way.

He's right. I'm a man. I pay my own way. That is something to be proud of.

But that is not the only thing that makes a man.

A man knows when to be tough, and when to be vulnerable. A man stops and helps an old lady change a flat tire. A man stands up against the bully and a man stands up for what is right.

As a man that can pay his own way and has done well in the system we have, I believe helping those that cannot pay their own way is the right thing to do. I believe paying a bit more in to the system to ensure people have healthcare and an education makes it possible for more and more people to become a "man" and pay their own way.

Now I can take being called a socialist drone. As a socialist, I've had to develop tough skin. But I do not like having my manhood put in to question, which is what I think this article does, simply because I am willing to contribute what I can to benefit the collective good. We are better-off as a nation if more people can see a doctor or can get an education.

A real man does what is right and gives a helping hand to those in need. A real man does not sit idly by and marvel at how "manly" his pockets have become while his neighbors can't afford cancer treatment or a nutritious meal.

So, in my opinion, this "man" does not sound like a man at all. He sounds like an ignorant prick.

Oh crap!

I forgot about the old lady thing!

This OPED piece is written in a somewhat tongue in cheek format, but still manages to capture just how much I care about having my country looked down on by others around the world. I really don't care about what other people think about me in my RL and that extends to European attitudes towards my country.

Now, I am NOT a fan of my Federal Government, but I still love my country. At least Europeans now understand why we have been upset about our immigration problems for years. It actually DOES overwhelm your social programs and increase crime. Now you know.

I also enjoy having personal responsibility in our country. We can choose what insurance to have. We have protected Free Speech. We can protect ourselves with actual weapons instead of sticks. We aren't perfect, but I am proud to be a citizen of this country.

Europeans often talk of American “arrogance.” How people abroad don’t like us. Partly because of this supposed arrogance. Well, after thinking about it, after praying about it, after writing a lengthy pro/con list, I’ve come to a serious conclusion: I have zero craps to give. Go ahead, call us arrogant. Stand on top of a table in a snooty French restaurant and mock the Yankees. My blessing? You have it. Get the point?

We have plenty of good reasons to believe we’re better than Europe. Mainly because we are. The key to pulling off arrogance is similar to mastering a great suit. Believe it. Live it. Love it. I’ve embraced American arrogance more heartily than you’ve embraced the Syrian refugees. But not as heartily as you should embrace dentists (okay that was the last one).

So often we hear “The United States is the only industrialized world without a nationalized healthcare plan. Or free school. Or free access to…” well, just pick the thing to which you feel most entitled. You know what I think whenever you start with that meme? Big. Effing. Deal. I can buy my own healthcare. I can pay for my own education. I don’t need free access to anything. I’m a man. I pay my own way. You know what? Millions of Americans do the same. It’s called individualism, you socialist drones.

SOURCE

How about the fact that Americans consume 24% of the worlds energy, being only 5% of the worlds population?

How about the fact that America is ripping the rest of the world off by means of the petrodollar, unlimited debt and printing as much money as they want without anything backing it's worth?

How about the fact that America likes to stick it's nose in every other countries business and tell them to do things their way or face regime change?

How about the fact that America is the single biggest destabalizing factor to world peace?

How about America's constant 2 faced hypocritical politics on an international stage?

I think you will find that most non-americans don't give two sh#t$ about your lack of social programs. People don't like the way your country affects their lives whereever they are, unlike Americans, they have no time or desire to worry about what happens on another country's soil (for example the lack of social policies in USA).

What an ignorant, uneducated mess of an article.

"The French helped us a bit, thanks for that by the way" ... Uh, without the French we wouldn't have had a snowball's chance in HELL against the British.

The article reads like some macho WWE wrestler who thinks he's an intellectual.

And that appeals to people, it appeals to their sense of masculinity. Why? Because people feel powerless in today's world. People feel they have no control, no power, no hope and no direction. People want to feel like they're macho and in charge, people want to feel important and swing their you-know-what around.

Well guess what? That's all in your heads. If you feel emasculated, that's on you in your messed up, warped mind. Go defrag your psyche and get back to us when you've worked out all your mental issues and insecurities.

what's the point of this thread....

it wont be long until the satirical, but true, list of what America is "#1" at. (not exports... think mass shootings, drugs od,pr0n, inmates etc, school shootings etc etc...).
pointing those things out means you're not patriotic... point at other countries, then yea... were great.

how many European countries cry human rights abuse or try to intervene when one of our mentalists go mental. ... yea thats right.

Americans cant see farther than the tip of their noses... so to speak. we dont take kindly to criticsm, we just dish it out...
let us self destruct in peace (while we intervene with every other country's issues..except NK...ooh,the chinese wouldn't like that. we dont have the testicular fortitude, in the middle east and africa,we're god or the equivalent)

i digress.

And we are taken just as seriously!

See?

Can't say I hate America or Americans.

Sure, there's much I don't like about America and the stereotypical American really does tend to come across as a bit of prick.

But I guess I could say the same about most national stereotypes.

There's also a lot I do like about America and Americans.

I've got to say I'm bewildered with your obsession with The Constitution and the general insular outlook many Americans have.

But I firmly believe the world would be a hell of a worse place without the thankless role you play on the international stage.
And I've got to know and have met some genuinely intelligent, fun and honourable Americans over the years both in real life and on sites like ATS.

That constitution we are obsessed with is who we are. That's why we obsess with it.

But it really isn't who you are. It's just a set of limits placed on your federal government.

Of the 197 countries in the world 152 have constitutions, so your not that different.

Maybe US citizens can try to argue that their constitution is adhered to, but I'm used to hearing the opposite.
