Since it is obvious that you can read and reply, why don't you go over to the threads you have recently authored and reply to the questions that have been asked of you there?

Do you have a particular thread in mind?

Sometimes I have already said my piece with my OP and I don't need to say anything else. Also, some people ask stupid questions like if you believe that Muslims might be dangerous you must believe in putting them in concentration camps which I also don't usually waste my time answering.

Oh well, looks like he can't be bothered...shoot from the hip and run away.

You are just as much a clown as the OP.

READ THE 16 PAGES.

I am not surprised some argument has come up about the nature of this thread and it's conformity to ATS's T&C's.
It can be a bit of gray area
16) Behavior: You will not behave in an abusive, libelous, defamatory, hateful, intolerant, bigoted and/or racist manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack anyone.

I do call it trolling, for there is no doubt that in posting it, the author knew it would inflame and provoke hostility, and obviously, they had no intent to continue participating and perhaps work on channeling that emotion towards creative or constructive cooperation between opposing viewpoints. -Which is the action that distinguishes childish trolling for the joy of provoking conflict from the more adult discussion of sensitive and important issues.

Yeah, I share that I am surprised the OP is encouraged and valued for such repeated behavior, and that people star and flag.
But heck, life is surprising sometimes and we don't all agree on what and how things are *shrug". I am not going to go on strike about it.

But I can make some attempt to do, myself that which the OP did not- attempt to participate in a way which encourages the synthesis of opposing views in a creative way. You can too.

Europe is made of many countries, America is made of many countries. From all I can tell, the majority here are assuming America refers to the United States, and Europe is referring to either France or the UK?

At least, lets start with determining which frigging country and culture were talking about and start from there. Because there are HUGE differences between the many European nations....

Just saw this - good post. Criticizing our country is a sign of love

It would be a tragedy if this became less true. Citizens are being made to feel more and more that they shouldn't or can't criticize their own county

This topic is so silly man!! stop watching msm, or at least broaden your horizons and see it for what it is. There are so many different people and opinions and personalities in America and Europe and the whole world. You act as if each country is a sports team made up of 15 people.

Just like here in the states black vs white - rep vs dem - Christian vs whatever

Imaginary enemies people. If you are fearful or suspicious of your environment will react to you in a negative way.

I didn't read a thing other than the headline before posting and that was pretty ignorant. Let me see what's being said first

Sorry, by the time that I got to the end of my emotion-filled rant (which I try hard not to do most of the time), I misspoke that you were calling the OP that. I fully understood that you were directing your comments to the author of the op-ed, but just because of that misspeak on my behalf, it doesn't mean that my entire comment is negated.

My point still stands overall.

If any Americans have an issue with people from Europe or any other part of the world having an opinion about your country, then you probably need to take it up with Hollywood, not us personally, since they're the ones who sell your culture as a form of entertainment to the rest of the world.

At the end of the day, caring about that 'extremist' American culture is just an entertaining way to pass the time for me personally. It makes no difference to my life if some Americans think more guns makes a safer society, or that free healthcare & a living wage is communism... But just like a good Hollywood movie or tv series, it entertains me to witness Americans trying to rationalize these irrational extremist belief structures.

Everyone needs a hobby, right?

I think I prefer a set of laws that change with necessity, rather than a set of rules etched in stone. Just my opinion.

And about the music, absolutely correct ...except techno? That surely started with Kraftwerk, right? I get the whole Detroit thing but...Tour de France?

Whats always made me laugh is, watch a cooking program like hell's kitchen and suddenly the fact Gordon Ramsey mentions its pasta week and half the people suddenly become Italian again till they get chewed up.

This statement is what stuck-out to me the most:

I can buy my own healthcare. I can pay for my own education. I don’t need free access to anything. I’m a man. I pay my own way.

He's right. I'm a man. I pay my own way. That is something to be proud of.

But that is not the only thing that makes a man.

A man knows when to be tough, and when to be vulnerable. A man stops and helps an old lady change a flat tire. A man stands up against the bully and a man stands up for what is right.

As a man that can pay his own way and has done well in the system we have, I believe helping those that cannot pay their own way is the right thing to do. I believe paying a bit more in to the system to ensure people have healthcare and an education makes it possible for more and more people to become a "man" and pay their own way.

Now I can take being called a socialist drone. As a socialist, I've had to develop tough skin. But I do not like having my manhood put in to question, which is what I think this article does, simply because I am willing to contribute what I can to benefit the collective good. We are better-off as a nation if more people can see a doctor or can get an education.

A real man does what is right and gives a helping hand to those in need. A real man does not sit idly by and marvel at how "manly" his pockets have become while his neighbors can't afford cancer treatment or a nutritious meal.

So, in my opinion, this "man" does not sound like a man at all. He sounds like an ignorant prick.

Introvert you hit the nail on the head. Being a man these days doesn't mean what it use to.

Being a man is now about how full you can stuff you pockets with disregard to how it effects other people.

American is not what it use to be.The government doesn't care about the people in any way shape or form.

The American public are tired and have lost hope. We have been beat down so much that we can't seam to

find the fight and will. After all we can't trust the one thing that is supped to be taking care of us.

But they are too busy trying to fill their pockets full before the US goes belly up.Their are no men in

the government now. We still have good people and they love the world and every one in it with some exceptions.

The trouble is the common man is lost. You can not make it in the USA and be a decent person. The government is

to corrupt. I can see why Europe looks down on us. We will have to learn how to stand up for our self's and take back

control of our country. The number one enemy to the USA is our people. We have forgotten how to be a man.
