Quite right, it is also possible to "Circumnavigate" the "globe" on the flat Earth model going east to west or west to east, the only way to "Truly" know would be to circumnavigate going from north to south or south to north but almost nobody does that for various reasons.

This simple fact is a large part of the fuel for the flat Earthers fire.

Also, commercial airplanes fly over the north pole all the time. Never the south pole. Flat Earthers will tell you that is b/c there is no south pole...
