Since Downton Abbey ended, I needed a replacement for that. I am really liking Upstairs Downstairs.

There has been a great debate as to which is better. I think both are different. Difficult to compare.

Though I do notice Downton Abbey 'borrowed' most plots and characters from Upstairs Downstairs, they are still different.

They both handle certain social issues differently, sometimes the earlier series better than the latter.

I like both.

I have been watching on primewire.ag the daclips mirror is easiest to handle.

I am off to watch the next...I last watched "An Object of Value", SE 2 EP 9.

Great series.

One difference between Downton and UpDown is the latter starts at an earlier historical period and ends at a later one. Another difference is Downton is set in a country house and UpDown is about a house in London.

Personally, I prefer UpDown. But both series have things to recommend them.

If you finish UpDown and still crave more, I recommend "The Duchess of Duke Street".

My wife revisits Upstairs Downstairs every so often so I know it well. Some terrible accents and bad acting but decent storylines.

I've been meaning to check out Upstairs Downstairs, thanks for reminding me !

I too have been suffering from Downton Abbey withdrawals.
