As a proud European (British) man who has travelled across all of Europe for the best part of a decade I saw the OP and I laughed so hard I feel like I might need medical help.

Seriously, a vid that picks out like 100 Muslims out of the few hundred million that are already here and it's suggested from that that multiculturalism has been a complete and utter failure. Trump suggests that every European is quaking in their boots.

At best we are shaken. But not more so than we were a decade ago.

It's like when Trump suggested that there are no go areas in the UK for police. I spoke to three policemen in the UK who I am friends with and I mentioned this. They laughed. I laughed. People passing by laughed because we were laughing even though they had no idea what we were laughing about!

As they said "Americans like to think they know every part of the world better than the residents of that part of the world do".

It's hilarious! Whenever I see Americans who have barely been in Europe, let alone lived here, making comments about no go zones I just can't help but laugh at them. clearly they have no idea how many of us Europeans have Muslim friends and have done for decades. Clearly have no idea how many Muslim people have helped us when we need a favour, have worked in our health professions doing the jobs none of our 'natural' residents wanted to do, have taught our children, have cleaned our streets...

Have served us food.. have cooked us food, have gone out and got drunk with us, have taken drugs with us, have prayed with us, have cried with us when an atrocity has happened, have laid flowers in completely defiant disregard of those that look to divide us...

Well America. It might surprise you to learn that in Europe the vast majority of us are united. You're looking at a continent that only a generation or two ago saw the kind of disgusting hatred that fascists like Trump try to stir up when a nation is in financial ruin.

All I can say is it shows how ignorant your nation is when it comes to other cultures as you're looking to repeat the same mistakes that we made all those years ago.... How very sad. Those people in the holocaust really did die for nothing didn't they?

I'm a woman and lived in Europe for 4 years, mainly Paris. As a woman I believe the many horrible experiences I had in Muslim areas were due to my gender. You, as a man would not experience the same treatment. Right? Did they ever chase you throwing cobbles calling you all kinds of names? This did not happen just once btw. Are these your friends?

I also have known Muslims here in the U.S. and I overheard the men talk about infidels and how they had taken advantage of them in their daily business and bragged about it. Each one trying to outdo the other and the level of charging extra or bad goods being sold to them and then laughing about it. And then afterwards they were super nice to my date and I but I knew it was false, I knew what they thought already they had made it very clear, they were just using him. And my date was the one who had sponsored them into the country trusting their good intentions, wrongly.

ETA: The night I overheard all this bragging and hatred was different from previous visits with them due to one of them having family members visiting from Iran who was hardcore Muslim. They all changed not wanting to be labeled a "Bad Muslim", probably out of fear. That's what another friend of mine from Turkey told me was the cause.

You ARE correct all cultures at one time or another have set out to do the wrong thing however while our religion can and has been used to rebuke this behaviour it is actually codified as acceptable in the Koran to kill non believer's, to rape woman, to marry children, to take what belong's to the non believers (Even the old testament did not have that only the promised land which the lord had already given to them and they were told not to covet what belonged to there neighbour which was not just the fellow jew but all that lived in peace with them).

Multiculturalism is just one of many isms out there.

The truth is some of us will like it some of us wont, of all races and cultures, but it IS a right of people collectively to say "hey this is our culture" practice it and keep it and it should be respected.

Like it or not Hundreds of millions of people don't want this and consider it an invasion, it's going to break countries apart.

And for the Europeans who are so welcoming, please understand something, this is happening because of American policy, there is no refugee crisis aside from the fact of constant war in the region and we fuel all sides... Before you get so excited about philosophical ideas ask yourself what the administration in America wants from this?

I'll give you a hint, Europe is competition to the Dollar, if the EU falls so does the Euro.

So play nice if you want, European socialism was working nicely, Europe was nicer and lots of Europeans are pissed even if the left of your continent likes to come on the Internet and say it isn't so, the EU will likely break up if for no other reason and all tolerance from everyone and the economics will still create the situation.

And don't be so fast to hate Trump, he might take America a bit isolationist. But he also doesn't want to bankrupt Europe and kill the Euro.

It's nice to be tolerant, but ask yourselves the real reason the migrants are coming. Then stop the War, don't participate with the US there wont be an immigration crisis to argue about.
