SO now does this hamper ISIS in any way, because we all know when you kill one there is always another there to take his place?

When you kill one another one replaces them. This is only true if one is half-hearted about one's goal. I hope that the goal is total annihilation of these people. If another one rises, another one dies, and on and on until the last one is gone.

…and the cycle will continue, unless we just get the hell out of there and cut our losses.

You mean abandon the prize (Iran)? Their goals are lofty and we may agree, un reachable, but imagine the US standing down from…

"the plan".

Do you even understand politics? It is a moveable feast, things change and policies and practices change with them. An old YouTube clip of an old agenda doesn't really help much in understanding modern political goals, does it?

The point I suppose is that this is a fast game, things are changing on a day to day basis. Anyone who assumes the past is relevant is...irrelevant.

"Politics" is the word they use when they are lying to you, covering stuff up. "Its… Politics."

Haha, "old agenda". Dominating the Middle East for oil and other resources is the only agenda.

Riiight, forgetting the lessons of the past. Repeating the past

It actually is irrelevant to think of past agendas at the moment. World politics has changed massively in the last 2 years, more so in fact than in the last 15.

There is no room for cast in stone political policy, nor understanding. It makes no sense anymore. We are in a pre-world war phase of politics, it is fluid.

No it isn't. The Russians peed in US cheerios in Syria, setting back their efforts to take down Syria, just like all the rest.

That is a really big deal. For now, because of elections, they'll sit on their hands. But will resume right after they get the head warmonger in the WH.

Then its back to war making, you watch.

Dont need to? It might give away operating procedures and put them at a disadvantage? Although I would love to know, I am thinking Blackhawk down style, Seal Snipers on a Little Bird.

So how many times do you think posting that video makes it true?

The man was supposedly shown a piece of paper that is only hearsay from him and in no way is shown to actually be true, but for some reason you keep posting it as truth...amazing.

And again what does that video have to do with what this thread is about...you seem to want to derail this thread with nonsense that has nothing to do with the discussion.

This thread isn't about Turkey, who is buying ISIS oil or what an ex general said...that has even yet been proven to be true, so why can't you stay within the topic of this thread?
edit on 26-3-2016 by tsurfer2000h because: (no reason given)

Except this thread is about a single event not the fact they are fighting ISIS.

They created ISIS.

That get's said but never proven...and again this thread isn't about that.

Just as I said you cannot keep on topic...as usual.
