No, in point of fact they aren't.

I am...a "Trump hater"... I didn't vote for Obama, either. In fact...I can safely be called an "Obama hater", too.

Point well taken...in the words of Trump..."True"

That's an interesting option. I had thought Cruz would be a valid appointment to the SCOTUS. I hadn't considered him as V.P..

The very threat of that option might, MIGHT, give pause to the Establishment brokering another candidate.

The two played nice with each other for so long, I was wondering if they had some kind of detente brokered already. Then they got nasty. Of course, they could be playing a game too.

But the way I always saw it, the Establishment was going to fight tooth and nail against both of them, but it couldn't take them both out.

They broker it and Hillary, Bernie or whomever runs when Hillary is indicted will be our next president.

Hillary won't be indicted. Why indict someone who likely has an automatic Presidential pardon sitting on Obama's desk?

Neither.

Trump being portrayed as a natural born leader was worth a smile, though...

A natural born leader wouldn't have nearly half the nation, seemingly, wanting to smack him upside the head...or worse.

Well that's not the reality of it.

It's mostly college age indoctrinated students and the BLM types who want to do that, along with the MSM who represents the establishment.

The opposition is made up of those who support a socialist or a lying, criminal murderer. So excuse me for not put much stock in that other 50%.

This nation is lost. Trump's leadership is the only reason all those schmucks and the establishment are frightened to the extent they are. No one else since Reagan has done what Trump is doing.

They wont' give the nomination to Cruz. They hate him as much as Trump, maybe more.
If they achieve a brokered convention, both Trump and Cruz are screwed.

Here are your Tickets: Trump/Cruz vs Hillary/Bernie. Which ticket would you vote?

The first. No hesitation.

Why would I vote for the lying crook and someone who thinks we need to spend as much as our national debt in new spending every year ... without paying off said debt first?

Incorrect.

And again. Incorrect.

And once more - incorrect.

Reading and research: Try it.

The GOP is a real head scratcher now. Cruz, who was running as the anti-establishment candidate, has been endorsed by establishment politicos Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush, and Cruz whole-heartedly accepts these. Also, Cruz's super-pac went after Donald Trump's wife today, and when Trump calls him out on Twitter, Cruz says it's a cheap shot and Cruz says to leave Cruz's wife out of it. But Cruz's camp started it. So, Cruz now is the establishment anti-establishment candidate and Trump is the true anti-establishment pick. My head is spinning.

I avoided a similar response. If for no other reason no matter who runs for the right will receive similar press.

In Trump's case it's a deliberate tactic! it gives him the exposure and air time to connect with the populace. He's already mellowing his stances and working on alliances. His Foreign Policy panel of experts wouldn't even be in his camp without their backing. A telling point on trump's ability in brokering deals.

He's so far ahead of Cruz-that I can see- in that regard, it makes it almost a no-brainer for me.

It's for the best. At least we won't be at war by the end of January. I'm tired of our young people getting killed and maimed behind this mess. This would be the worst yet. The VA can't take care of the vets we have now.

The establishment has to decide what it's going to do. They can either back Kasich who really isn't going to do anything other than sponge up some fringe delegates ... maybe to prevent the outright nomination of Trump. Or they can try to endorse Cruz to see if he can either win the nomination (highly unlikely) or win enough to prevent the outright nomination (more likely).

If they prevent the outright nomination, then they can broker the convention and select their preferred candidate. And if they do that and it isn't someone who was in the primary process and received some broad support, the Republicans are basically handing the election to the Democrats.

So I think reports of Republican support are less than enthusiastic and nefarious.

Yep. I felt betrayed by the Tea party when Gowdy endorsed Rubio. Not a comment was uttered by Cruz or other leaders in the Tea Party. That's the point I lost all respect for the Tea Party and Cruz.

That anti-Trump coalition is the entry opportunity for the Establishment to absorb the Tea party not unlike they did with Gingrich and his Contract with America.

Wrong, wrong and wrong.

Research says so. Reality says so. You should try practicing what you preach at some point.

Denial can be tough, but hopefully you'll pull through.

I don't want four more years of stagnant economy and I sure as hell don't want the balance of the SCOTUS swung liberal for decades which is what we are facing. Do you realize how many Amendments we lose?

And the way the world has been left, war may find us no matter whom we elect.

They applied for the job; agreed to the pay, knew it involved firearms with the potential to have to kill another human being or be maimed or killed within the job parameters. No one twisted their arms to join the Armed Forces.

If you spend ANY time studying the positions-or even the threads- you'd see His Foreign policy crowd is not neocon as you call it. Every member is outside that circle. There's even a thread covering it.
