Hey now he might die of 'natural causes' too.

Do they have anything other than rich old white guys ?

Yeah well gas was 89 cents a gallon. and savings, and money markets returned a good rate.

Good Times those were.

I'm sure Reagan was there to shake your hand every time you fueled up.

Like I said get your head examined. If you can attribute all the good things that happened back then to one man that is.

Yeah, that's great.

At what cost to the people of today though? It is impossible to believe that the events of that period did not negatively effect the lives of millions of people, all over the world, including those who did not benefit from the apparent wealth and abundance of the time you are referring to.

Thatcher, Reagans close associate, butchered her nation in solidarity with him. No one who inspires that kind of behaviour is worth a god damn.

You can thank the church of climatology for that. We have a lot to 'thank' them for.

The Green movement was virtually unheard of at the time.

Compared to today where their ideology, and LAWS have made goods more expensive across the boards.

Wow...

I have heard some utter nonsense out of you, but that takes the buscuit. Hell, the whole tea service. The banks Reagan deregulated were able to go about using mercenary tactics to bind entire families into debt for generations, but you seem to think a bunch of hippies caused the problem?

Have you been outside in the last thirty years? This is the sort of argument I would expect from someone who has been locked in a basement for three decades, not a functioning person, free, out in the world.

Nonsense eh.

So tell me how much does green REGULATION add to the cost of gas ?

Quite a bit.

Adds to the cost of auto's making them more fuel 'efficient'.

Made electricity more expensive shutting down cheap energy sources such as coal.

The list goes on.

That was hilarious. Because the national debt was a third of what it is now.

The last hero was president Andrew Jackson, the man who killed the Bank.

All of the "hero"s since then have been steroids for State power.

Thomas Jefferson might have had enough money to finance his campaign independently. And he would compromise his principles to achieve his Libertarian objective, that is, lie to get elected.

Politics is criminal. It forces you to join a group that wants to tell everyone what to do.

The real heros are anti-political.

I'm just having a browse, and it seems you're all of a consensus. I note a happy enthusiasm ringing out but I could not determine otherwise if this or not is sarcasm or latent inverse irony, as it were. You're a funny bunch, either way. Thanks for supplying ordinary people outside, like me, a smile.

Something I wrote a long time ago for someone with HIV, hence the title. We can all be heroes, but you need both belief in yourself and the belief of others...

HEROES INVITE VILLAINS

It’s tough being me, life is a struggle,
Everyone’s a wizard, I’m just a muggle.
“Try harder must I”. I hear Yoda mock!
Luke or Han I’ll never be, just an Ewok.

Clark had his Lois, Peter Mary Jane
Even Hulk found a sweetheart to calm him again
Logan though lonely flexes muscles, oozes sex
Me, I’m like Rogue, sap strength just with texts.

Aphrodite sends Love, a bolt from the blue
Like Frankenstein’s monster I haven’t a clue,
I lurch, moan and stumble, push my hero away
I’m Lex with the krypotonite: villain vile, jealous, gay.

Hero smiles fondly, confusion slips away
A champion of peace, I’ll follow him today
Self-doubt is rejected, love from patience upward swells
I learn a new power now, to be a crafter of spells.

If anyone sees a politician as a hero they need their head examined.

Politicians have been known to be hero's before.

George Washington AKA the 'Bullet Proof President' is just one example...

In 1755 the 26-year-old Washington was ambushed by Indians during battle.

Washington inexplicably survived a hailstorm of bullets for 2 hours and had two horses shot out from under him, afterwards he found four bullet holes in his coat.

He was untouched by bullets or arrows while every other mounted officer had died.

This use to be in virtually all school history textbooks up until 1934.

History has completely covered up the fact that Washington would spend an hour on his knees in prayer every morning and another hour every night.

Those in power have done their best to minimize or omit the importance of our country's heroes while instead teaching schoolchildren about obscure individuals deemed more politically correct.

LordComac for president.

I don't want the job, so I'd just let logic, advisers, and the public do all the deciding.

There's a thought- why isn't a computer program running things?
