Actually, with local and federal corruption rampant in Mexico, you can't know for sure that they aren't getting rid of some of their problem people by sending them over. So, how can you prove they aren't?

Xuen is right. Mexico allowed all those Central American people to cross through their country without any hindrance. Doesn't make sense, does it?

Bring proof, no made up outrage, thanks for coming out.

Your proof...

Other than harassment from the cartel's the Mexican government isn't doing anything to prevent them from entering Mexico. Because they know the end destination isn't in mexico.

Mexico's Peaceful Weapon

You Americans are very lucky you intercepted Germany's message to Mexico. Otherwise they'd already have California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and small parts of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico.

Atleast thanks to the Mexicans who fought with your grandparents.

Trump is like the elites. Separation an illusion.

Perhaps we are all mistaken if we think we should be able single out Trump or Hillary and anybody else we have the "choice" to pick at the national level. They all appear to be puppets of something greater than their constituents who vote for them. Trump could be the man for the job or the man to usher in Hillary. Too many people have bought the lies about Cruz for him to win. The people are remembering what they want to remember rather than the words actually used. Just as the example with the video early in this thread that was from Fox, where the idiot said Trump had said make the country 'white' again, people with hate in their hearts find the 'facts' they need to keep believing their 'truth'.

Hey OP, I saw the video of Trump saying your quote on Facebook, and got to read all the messages calming he is racist. The all stem from the idea that he never said "illegal immigrants" in his quote, he only said "Mexicans" or "Mexico". So they all started crying racists because they removed the context from which he was speaking. Its like they don't know when a president or presidential candidate talks about "immigration" they are talking about "illegal immigration" not just "immigration" in general.

They also complain about his quotes regarding removing America born Mexicans. They think that is racists too... because they don't understand Trump's opinion of the "anchor baby" loophole that illegal immigrants are abusing. He has been quoted saying that children born in the USA from an illegal immigrants are not real America citizens. Also that he has lawyers that can prove it. But yeah...

It seems all this claim of racism is from their misinterpretation of his words, and not actual racism.

You can dissect the words as much as you like but the underlying assumption of the statement is if you are latino and an illegal 90% chance you are going to commit crime and apparently you are a sub standard worker which itself is a statement that defies logic, as I doubt they would be so readily employed if they were such horrible and inefficient workers. Even if you take into account the cheaper labour cost if the job isn't getting done or getting done to a certain standard there is no way they'd still get employment. They clearly have some sort of aptitude for work if employers think it is worthwhile to continuously break the law and keep employing them. So while Trump wants to keep pointing fingers at latin America for all of the USA's woes he doesn't seem to think the employers bear any responsibility for the problem. I wonder if the cleaning company he hires for the Trump tower doesn't have a couple of illegals working there, perhaps the catering company he hires for his political fundraises have a few illegals on call, if he eats fruit in any form chances are it was picked by an illegal. But he claims it is Mexico's fault that America does little to crack down on American employers hiring illegals.

The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems

Wrong, it is a U.S. problem. For decades the United States has been interfering in the politics of central America, deposing legally elected leaders for being anti America, starting coups, propping up fascist dictators who despite their murderous disposition were at least pro America. You cannot constantly destabilise a country and not expect lasting effects. Just as with Afghanistan and Iraq, America cannot behave like a Dr Frankenstein and just run from what they have created. America chose to commit certain actions in the past and now they have to bear the responsibility of the consequences of those actions. The one benefit i could see in Trump being president is perhaps with his isolationist policy America might finally get out of everyone's business and perhaps that would be a good thing for America because if history shows anything America has not got great aptitude for foreign politics.

You know what they say about assumptions........

Just so you know... 100% of illegals commit crime. They are violating immigration laws.

First off mexico is not sending anyone, i dont personally think what he was quoted as saying is racist, but comes from a delusion, and its used to ramp up the fear, for weak minded people to drink up.

As far as Mexico not sending people, thats not entirely true.

www.nytimes.com...

www.thefederalistpapers.org...

The ruling class in Mexico, the aristocratic families who have ruled Mexico for centuries, are using our country to export poverty and its accompanying discontent from there to here, as keeping them in Mexico would inevitably result in social unrest. Castro did the same thing back in the 80s. Let the disgruntled people leave and consolidate your power. Not really a new thing.

Trump cannot be openly racist. Human rights groups would tear him down real fast. He's very subtle about it, but if you're a part of the privileged whites then how would you ever see it? All you guys care about is yourself, complaining about illegals committing crimes but not the one mass shooting per day of last year is fascinating. Suggests a deeper underlying reason for wanting them out of the land that badly.

None of the ultra rich want them out of the country, that's utter nonsense. They are the cheap labor reserviour of scab workers meant to displace American workers and break the back of the working class in the US. Why would the rich oppose that? IMHO, the only reason the far right has always opposed a path to citizenship is that THEN they would have to pay them wages and give them rights comparable with American citizens, and that would be the end of their little slave pipeline. The fact that they have had this large pool of cheap labor to draw from for the past 35 years (reagan started the ball rolling on Amnesty) has been instrumental in their push to bust unions and crush the working class and middle America.

A mass shooting per day? Don't you think that's a bit of hyperbole vs, real life, every day statistics of Latino gang crimes?

Well, these are the statements made by him, coming from his own mouth, instead of articles posted on Twitter from Vox and Gawker.

That being as it may, we are still all racists, and the loudest deniers are the hardest practicing ones!
What is the point of listening to someone 'spin his own apologetics'??
It's all vainly self serving and less then credible.
Perhaps for comic relief? *__-

I actually did see this happen... I was in a bus going around the Yucatan peninsula and I saw this South American lady and her child get escorted off the bus by the military. It was kinda scary.

I get the point of why illegal immigration happens (from anywhere really) and why it's gotten out of hand. It's a vicious cycle that won't end. It's hard to have a huge change like that happen over night, especially one that will impact the US economically in a large scale. (lack of workers, learning curve, price inflation, etc..)

I do believe that it's a change that has to happen gradually over time with proper immigration laws in place.

I have lived in Mexico for a while in a small rural town with some fellow ex-pats and I met a farm keep that in harvest season would acquire a work permit legally and work for Driscoll's picking berries or w/e. Nice person 3 kids and a wife.

There is a way to provide labor to the US from Mexico if needed. There's just so much corruption on both sides and so much interests, being power or money, that come from this that it's hard to even know how to really fix this.

I can show you why trump is racist with one simple link. And if you refute then well your just as racist as him. Tell me how not letting a certain racial group from renting your property isn't racist? Oh yeah I forgot when you to black people your property value goes down. Why is that? Is it because America is kinda racist? Hell yea. www.salon.com...

The easy answer to your question is found at the supermarket, at the drive through, in your neighbors manicured garden, in those nicely trimmed trees, the freshly painted office buildings, the carpeting that you walk on in the hotels, the clean office buildings...and on and on and on.

Americans want all these things, but they want them as close to free as they can get them. They also refuse to work at the same wages that these individuals will work for.

So who is to blame? The Citizens of the United States. That's who.
