Everything that a person experiences is retained in memory. The thing is that to one extent or another much of this information is categorized in the brain in a way, that is it not readily available. One may remember the details of
a particular birthday party but not necessarily all of them.

This is why hypnosis works..

What you said there is just the definition of experience.

The only place your going to find such a discussion on the interment is right here.

That's the other thing about this.

I don't fully understand you, but I get you. I have never tried to meditate but want to learn how. I believe there is a universal energy, I think it has a name but only some can tap into it, and usually it take s meditative state to do so. Edgar Cayce could tap into the akashic records.

In relation to Meditation here is what I recommend.

www.psychologytoday.com...

There are many more sources, freely offered on the internet that offer this form of meditation. As something to learn, if you are interested in the subject.

There are other meditations I preform.

They are related to multiverse theory.

It offers the idea that in perspective each of us is akin to that of a facet in a diamond.

Again in some grand scale from our general point of view.

What are moments?

Other than as a mere socialism, as in "just a moment!", scientifically and philosophically, a 'moment' is a Planck moment;

Planck moment = 10^-43/sec; "almost" one billion trillion trillion trillionths of a second!!!

Since a Planck moment is literally 'timeless', a 'moment' is NOT a unit of 'time'!
Interestingly, most would think that 'existence' is all moments strung together, with a beginning and end!
But, 0+0+0+0+0... all moments together, end to end = 0!
The Universe, all of it, ever, IS The Singularity!

What is a 'moment'?

A 'moment' is a 'timeless' unit of perception, a 'percept'!

Every moment of existence is Here! Now!
'Timelessly'!

A 'moment' is a unit of Knowledge/experience of Self!

Know how on a cartoon critter, when he has a revelation, that light-bulb that goes on over his head?
That is a very 'tiny bang'!
Each moment is a unique 'tiny bang'.
All moments, synchronously arising, of 'Self Knowledge', an entire Universe of moments of Self-awareness, arising all at once, IS quite the 'Big Bang'!!
(without all the absurdity with which the 'physicalists' have to twist and deal!)

One way of looking at it is that moments are potentially indistinguishable upon a grand scale, to what we are altogether.

Upon a scale we relate to as beyond this perceptive.

For us normality seems a commonality but invariably it is also an abstract from a point of view.
