Some folks just want their money spent on war and prisons, Sen Sanders really upsets them!

Go Bernie!

Why do people assume that since we don't want massive socialist programs, we want war and prisons?

How about the government simply take less of our money, we keep more of it an spend it how we see fit?

HRC is everything political I wish to vote against, and then there is this little problem:

How could I possibly vote for that?

Is it impossible for you to grasp the fact that I DON'T WANT TO BE "TAKEN CARE OF?"

Nope, not impossible! I get that you don't want to be taken care of. And that you don't want anyone else to be taken care of either; and that especially you will not pitch in to do so.

I get it.

You're just too blinded by hysterical catastrophization to listen to anyone else. I'm married to a guy like you......

so..... I get it. More than you can possibly know.

How about it!?? So - are you going to spend Saturdays going from mission to mission (homeless shelters and domestic abuse shelters) doling out your precious cash? Are you going to tuck a fiver into the guy's hat who's playing a guitar and looks pathetic? What about the guy at the top of the exit ramp who, for months, sits there day in and day out (with the same commuters moving past every day) with a sign that says."Jobless. Moving to _______. Pleez help"

You gonna lay a $20 on him?

Yeah, me neither.

I'm sick of pan-handlers, too.

I think that helping people who need it is a wonderful thing to do.

It's the internet, so everything I say is suspect, so I won't even bother describing what I do.

But I have always endorsed and encouraged people to help others instead of shifting the responsibility to a bloated, corrupt government.

Some folks just don't believe "because I exist" and "I'll exert myself at rallies for a socialist and protests for inane reasons, but not much else" is all it should take to get all your wants and needs fully paid for as if you were a little child dependent on mommy and daddy to pay your bills. Senator Sanders really panders to them! (Thankfully for those of us not on the dole, about 59% of DNC primary voters have rejected the pandering so far.)

Please remember that in November and don't mimic her by flip-flopping!

Funny thing, I've offered paid work to those panhandlers before and I've yet to have a single one respond positively to the offer. Physical labor is a lot more difficult than sitting on your ass begging.

Tell ya what, if a man isn't willing to earn it for himself, he doesn't deserve food, shelter, medical care, etc.

I worked in a mid-town flower shop. There was a resident 'street vendor' who came in every saturday morning and bought a dozen roses. He then went out and strolled the streets of this fashionable, bohemian neighborhood, and sold the flowers to pedestrians for $3 each. They cost him $1 each.

We were on a first-name basis. On good days, he'd come back for a second dozen.
I admired that guy. Just like I admired the Mexican and Central American people who pushed ice-cream carts around, and had food-trucks, and went door to door with home-made tamales.

I GET IT.

I have nothing against those people. None. At. All.
Rather, I applaud them.

So there.

Not 'funny' at all, if you think about it.
These people are making money but not "working for the man."
They do it on their own.

HOW IN HELL can you argue with that, Mr "I Don't Want To Be Taken Care Of"? (and also don't want to take care of anyone else).
They are entrepreneurs. They don't need your "paid work." They are doing exactly what you champion....working for themselves. Managing their own businesses. Yet you look down on them for saying, "No, thanks, don't want your 'job' offer. I'm doing okay on my own."

I would not or did not vote for Obama, why would I vote for a Clinton?

I mean I might as well write in Goldman Sacks as vote for HRC.

but I will not vote for these guys either:

Where did all of the smart people go?! Perhaps the job is TOO BIG for one of insignificant ego; or the pocket book does not match the math/cost of running.

You are bigger than this "Hands Held Up in Frustration". Vote your heart. Think of it this way; cancel someones else's MORE heartfelt vote just for the fun/hijinx that you may have (by one vote) crippled their candidate.

You should think about running for a public office! (I would vote for you if convinced me of an open complete sincerity coming out of your mouth). Meet me in my State; Arizona on Tuesday so I can look you in the eye. It would help if also a fan of "The Pixies" or "Jack White".

You hold opinions (and those I suppose think as you) are very forcefully expressed and end up being bluster; a dud firework. I get the personal life challenge brother. I traverse this life with many advisers (WHY) because I listen to them; so am never alone in obscurity or the worst: so invalid to not be noticed by an insect (they are the smartest beings on this planet) they sting you for a reason.
