I have been following Trump's campaign with almost excitement......not because I think he will make it to the head seat....Hitlery already "paid" for that seat......I have not spoken to ONE person who is voting for or has voted for Hitlery.....but because he IS saying what I have been thinking for years!

My husband and I both believe that Trump may have been the person who was put in the race to GUARANTEE that Hitlery wins......I know Trump can be a bit raw and crass.....and this is why he causes so much of an emotional response......but after Obummer...I think this country NEEDS blunt and in your face......

poor Bernie is not going to be able to beat the B@tch.......he has been labeled a socialist and commie....so, despite a HUGE following, (this is by an informal poll...I take public transportation in Chicago and see about 25 patients a day.....), Bernie is just providing someone to run against Hitlery to make it seem fair......and Trump will continue to be bashed and vilified and made to look ever increasingly "dangerous"......(and he IS dangerous to "the establishment"....or maybe he is just being made to LOOK that way)......I believe this is a wag the dog type of thing.....all smoke and mirrors......."They" can't make it look TOO obvious that our vote doesn't matter and Hitlery has already paid the price for that presidential seat......(and I shudder and try not to let the bile rise too high in my throat....). Remember when the time comes.....do you omw ANYONE who REALLY is FOR Hitlery? I have not met one....mostly Bernie and Trump.....with a few Cruz/Rubio thrown in......

I did MY "duty" in Illinois and voted Bernie....I knew Trump would take IL without my vote and decided to try and stop (or slow down) Hitlery by voting Democrat and for the Bern........(shrug).....didn't work......but Trump is the man I will be voting for when the time comes.....even though I know we'll get more "hope and change" shoved down our throats by Billary.......

my opinion, ya'll

If he drops out or doesn't win the primaries I'm still not voting Trump. I don't know if I'll do anything.

But I won't join the Trump or Hillary Crew.

I'll write in Stephen Colbert and hope for the best.

You dont believe in the " establishment" ?

I don't believe that they wield the power that most give them credit for. They're a paper lion

Well you are wrong. And if our choice of candidates this year doesnt prove that to you then I would say you are being willfully blind.

HOPE AND CHANGE!
HOPE AND CHANGE!
HOPE AND CHANGE!

GO BILLARY!
GO SHILLARY!

We the people should not have to hope but have a president that is not going to leak out our government information to the wrong hands or even get our troops killed. She shouldn't even be aloud to run for president. I might not agree with everything Trump says but we do need him as president due to he will bring back our jobs, and build a wall that we Really need. If you want to be in this country then do it the right way like everyone else has done that was not born here. We need to stop fighting over things as a whole is got to stop and we the people need to be heard. The other candidates are not listening or the government. We need someone to stand up for all of us Americans. I don't care what color or race u are WE are the American people.
I am done ranting

Have a great day guys!!!

If he made it to office NOBODY and I mean NOBODY is going to work with him. The whole of Congress, both the Conservatives and Democrats won't work with him. The establishment won't work with him either.

People say Sanders would have trouble, well what about Trump. They all hate him.

He'd have to do everything by Executive Order.

It's not like he can just go in and Fire them all like it's his TV show.

There are ways of getting around Congress it is called an executive order and his first one will be to repeal the Obama care act!!

Go Trump

Congratulations to you too I guess. You're the billionth person to not actually answer any of my questions except for some quick slightly confusing comments.

What are you suggesting?? That everyone is going to be replaced in congress and every other office with willing Trump Supporters at some point with him in office???

I don't know, who is most effected by negative press???

I still don't think you grasp the intent of this thread. What I am trying to point out is that Trump doesn't need Congress to work with him to get the ball rolling. He can use executive orders combined with emotionally manipulative bad press to get Congress off their keesters and actually doing something.

Let's say that in the sumner of 2017 Trump orders a nationwide roundup of illegals, using Border Patrol, other INS agents, the FBI, and other agencies. All of that is perfectly legal and DOESN'T require any action by congress. Trump also skillfully uses the media to point out that he is just enforcing the law, and Congress has done nothing about this issue for more than a decade. He also says he doesn't want things to be handled this way, but his hands are tied. His first responsibility is to ensure the safety and welfare of the US citizens, and to make sure laws are enforced. He points out that the ball is in Congress's court.

How quickly do you think immigration reform would be passed that addresses most aspects of the issue? And then imagine this tactic used for so many other issues. No other president could get away with this...but Trump could and actually come out stronger in public opinion polls.

Listen, Trump has proven himself a strong minded leader by facing all the hardships that all Americans can empathize with. He rose up as a self made man and has done nothing but shown care and love for those around him.

Did you seriously just publish a statement that Trump was/is a "SELF MADE MAN?"
Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the term "self made man" because to me, that means someone who had nothing and through hard work and ingenuity, built a successful business or businesses, not someone who was already a millionaire by birthright.

True but Trump did unbelievably well with that 40 million he inherited from his dad, turning it into billions all the while living lavishly.

Donald Trump will make the economy boom!

After all, we will be at war with literally everyone!

Donald Trump will probably be the only President in history to unleash the military at full power with an order to "fire at will".

As we pull the meager possessions from the corpses of the vanquished and add them to the American treasury our coffers will grow fat!

America will be great again our enemies will be ground beneath our heels.

a man confronts you, he is your enemy. an enemy deserves no mercy, cobra kai!

I believe in all or nothings. If we aren't going to go isolationist & build ourselves up again the I say we go full NWO. War is good for the economy, occupation & "democracy building" is not.

Trump can do much just by enforcing existing law.
There already is a law on the books to
1. build the mexican wall and funding for 700 miles of it.
2. firing all illegals working in the US
3. deporting criminal aliens
4. deporting US Visitation visa aliens who have overstayed their stays.
5. control the budget. If they become problems, do not approve any new funding so old funding stays in place which is a 3% savings per year.
6. Get the EPA under control, allow coal power companies to operate
7. Get waste, fraud and abuse under control.

Much more to go...

Great well then if he gets in there I hope for your sake that he'll make America Great Again. But even with those laws I don't think it's quite as easy as you think.

Obviously if we've had those laws in place already then something about them isn't working. Whatever that problem is I doubt Trump is intelligent enough or knows enough about what is really going on behind the scenes to do much about it.

There are many factors at play here some of which Trump may not be aware of which even if he is aware might not have the ability to correct.

Obviously you don't understand how Executive Orders work. Allow me to bring you up to speed. EOs are a directive given by the POTUS to government workers in various agencies. They almost always deal with how a particular law is going to be handled or enforced. If a president attempts to set unlegislated policy with an EO it is almost always found unconstitutional. That is why there is such a fuss about Obama's Dreamer Eos.

A president at any time can order the Justice Department to enforce a law as to align with his policy. As long as the existing law allows his action, there is very little that Congress can do except change the law with a veto proof majority.

As far as your assertation that Trump is too stupid to realize all this...lol. Prove it

Did I say too stupid??? I should have probably put too inexperienced with the way the system actually works.

I'm aware of all that Exec. Order stuff your talking about. But that's not what I mean exactly. I'm saying that all that stuff considered I don't know if it's that easy to change. Not because of the it not being possible legally or officially. But more about the unofficial side of it.

The fact that there are a lot of people and organizations which have influence that like it that way and are the ones who've lobbied to allow illegal works and stuff to be here for a reason. Because lets be honest, illegal or not, those people fit into a niche that wants them here. There are other reasons and groups who not only aren't upset that they are here but have built their whole industry on them being around.

I'm not saying I agree with it either. But it's a reality and one that has been slowly built and reinforced for a while now and it's not going to be easy to take it apart without having to figure out how to do it without causing other problems at the same time. The world is a very complex place with many interconnected functions like a knotted up string of christmas lights and it can take some time and effort to untangle them. You can't just grab one end and shake and have it all nice and straight again.

But who knows. Maybe I'm totally wrong and it will be fixed quickly and smoothly.

Reckless efforts to paint Donald Trump as a fascist make a proper understanding of both fascism and our current crisis impossible.

If you’re looking for real fascists in the modern world, you’ll do better looking at the jihadis, who believe they have been tricked into previous defeats, unleashed slaughter on those who oppose them, seek to dominate the world, and destroy free societies. Trump is not one of those.

The efforts of a considerable number of columnists, reporters, and even university professors to make him out to be a second Hitler or Mussolini testifies, I think, to their ignorance about fascism.
Calling Trump a ‘fascist’ distorts the history of the last century.

Fascism was a revolutionary movement that sought global dominance. There is none of this in Trump, who’s anything but a revolutionary, and who does not purport to speak for military virtue, as Mussolini did. Nor does the current moment resemble Italy’s post-war crisis.

-prominent historian of actual Italian fascism, Michael Ledeen

You forgot to mention his numerous neo-con affiliations, affiliations that might explain his creative, selective definition of fascism.

Fascism was a revolutionary movement that channelled the forces of reaction. It worked with traditionalist movements when it suited it and was nationalist, not international in focus. Although it claimed to be against capitalism, it worked hand in glove with big business. It believes in political violence.

Hitler, with his plans to make Germany great again, wax a fascist. Ditto Mussolini. Ditto Antonescu.

Franco, with his plans to make Spain great again, was not. Redondo and Primo de Rivera were but they were killed in the war, much to Franco's relief.

Trump ticks more of the boxes than Jihadis, with their transnational theocratic aims, do.

And replace it with what?

The last time a blanket repeal worked was in 1660, when Charles II repealed all of Cromwell's legislation with one signature.

Trump's healthcare ideas - they're not formed enough to be proposals, let alone policies - are a licence for insurance companies to print money anyway.

No he doesn't, he even takes Republic Credits.

Trump has a strong mind in the way a jackass has a strong mind when you try to pull it out of the mud.

A self made man with a rich daddy who had an expensive education. Still, enough people believed Dubya when he said much the same thing.

Immigration isn't a big deal when you consider that large corporations have been outsourcing labor to other countries for decades. Nor is it a big deal if you consider that there is a relevant percentage of agricultural jobs that disillusioned americans don't want to do (despite their 'hrmpfh, hardworking mentality" rhetoric). They aren't hurting anyone.

What do they do?

They present an opportunity for private prison corporations (such as some that might be legally and financially focused in Arizona -cough GEO Groups-) to pick up a larger percentage of people per day to fill their stupid state requirements. Xenophobia shouldn't be manipulated for profit...ArizonaGuy.

Long story short. I disagree with you.

They arent just crop pickers and bathroom cleaners. They have taken over entire skilled trades here in Florida! Plumbing, roofing, painting, carpentry, flooring.

These TRADES used to pay a good wage, now the wages for these jobs are less than half of what it should pay. GARBAGE! Imagine going to college and getting a degree in say nursing, something that should pay 80k/year. But you soon realise you cant get a job nursing making over 30-40k a year because there is an overburdened number of Illegal people driving down the pay scale?

I thought Trump and conservatives believed in market forces?
