How come nobody is talking about Kasich? He is our best bet.

I have long thought that the FDA is a closed and corrupt entity which has contributed to the insane cost of prescription Rx. It is a downward spiral indeed and the patient/consumer gets in the neck!

See, America is literally addicted to socialism. If the feds want to clamp down, and citizens vote against it, then the feds can screw with the medical system, and all those people who can't function without their Rx's are at the mercy of the gov't.

How many of us are hopelessly reliant on month to month Rx's? What happens when they are no longer accessible?

I went into pharmacy to help people like my grandparents live normal lives, but over the past seven years, I've seen more and more Gen-Xers and Millennials lose their independence to non-narcotic therapies. All is good until the drug is no longer available or too costly.

This isn't the America that was fought for in 1776.

To answer the OP. Who's Kasich?.. Exactly! I'm not "voting" for a "Republican" that has no chance. I'm sure he's said a lot of "gung ho" stuff..but I never heard it.
How about just "falling in" and voting for his party? Unless you're just a diversion? Trying too...? What?
Kasich is a wet dream you, apperently had...
Not a single "conservative" worth the weight in salt, would have voted for him.
Your question makes a good eulogy. It's all emotional and stuff. ...

Any "Federal" alphabetical, anything is a waist of "taxes". Not to mention redundant.. If we couldn't "govern" ourselves...Congress should have never aloud "Statehood"? .. If it's Fed? There's a 90% chance it's corrupt...and outside its "jurisdiction"... It's all good. We'll get it worked out. Sooner or later.

because he is so far behind in the polls it would take a miracle from god for him to even register on the radar. nice try though op.

This guy needs to drop out. He has won 1 state. Republicans don't want him as president. Period.

Kasich won Ohio and that is huge! He should now go full steam ahead and win the nomination at the convention. He is the best candidate running for President today and can beat Hillary Clinton in November!

That is correct and that prior government experience will serve him and the country well if Kasich is elected President in November.

This is a an unacceptable situation and it isn't the America envisioned by our Founding Fathers relative to the loss of independence to non narcotic therapies and R's becoming unavailable or too costly, especially for fixed income senior citizens.

Sorry you're a little late, frostie, but all kidding aside, Kasich did slow Trump down by winning the winner take all Ohio primary and there is still a decent possibility that no candidate will be able to secure the required delegate total to clinch the nomination going into the convention this summer. In such a scenario, Kasich could still wind up with the nomination on a second or third ballot at the said brokered convention.

www.nytimes.com...

Sorry bud,

I just dont see Kasich pulling it out. He has to win every state by 80 or 90% if he wants a chance.

He can only win if there is a brokered convention. Then he could win on a second or third ballot.

Didnt know what that meant, but CNN breaks it down pretty well.

www.cnn.com...

So if a brokered convention takes place, then there will be a second ballot. correct?

Im confused what a third ballot means then. Im assuming its when the second ballot is too close/contested that a third ballot will need to take place.

Kasich just received a 200,000 donation from Soros, or so I heard.

The ballots continue until a candidate hits the required majority of delegates necessary to clinch the nomination. The delegates earned by a candidate in the primaries are not bound to vote for the winner of a given primary except on the first ballot. After the first ballot, the delegates can vote for any candidate they choose. I think Trump will not be nominated unless he clinches on the first ballot when his delegates are required to vote for him by law. After that first ballot it is a brand new ball game.!

With Bernie basically out of the race, and as a Democrat my only hope is Kasich now. I'd vote for him over Hillary or Trump. I'd take a moderate on either side of the aisle compared to the nasty extremism leading this race.

Any polls exist that pit Kasich against Hillary?

The polls I've seen indicate Kasich can beat Hillary by around 11 percentage points. Lets hope Kasich gets the nomination at a brokered convention, as this is the only way he can win it. Then lets hope Kasich does beat the disingenuous Clinton! We're on the same page, Jason88. Although I'm an independent moderate myself. Kasich is right up my alley on policies!
