Summer is going to be hot. There hasn't been any proper snow this year. They all melted in a jiffy.

I dont want to be a bother., but where at ? The world? A region of the world? A country ?The reason I am asking is that where I live in the US in the state of Georgia , we have been experiencing colder winters with more snow , and unusually milder summers since around 2000 . Bout time we go from the low 80s back to the mid 90s to over 100.

I predict higher then average rainfall and snow pac in california this year. I also predict far lower summer temps then I have see in the past here ( I lived here since 1957). There will not be any 117 F degree days as I saw before. There will not be any 116 days. The jury is still out wether ther will be any 115 days. maybe not.

I think most people can predict this. Care to share more on your opinion? Have only last year and sources brought you to this predition or a dream, etc? Just trying to help out with the thread and it's flow.

In the Western US and as likely other places on earth that it's going to be a warmer year. I really hope not as it caused a lot of problems. As last year was the warmest on record, and our western wildfires due to low snow pacs were very rampant and of course not even to mention the whole drought issue in Ca.

I don't know your location (if it's listed, they don't show on mobile), but that would really help. Otherwise, yeah, it will most likely be hot this summer in many parts of the world.

In the "Midwest" US (for those not in the US, that's more or less the States that should be called the MidEast, since it encompasses States mainly East of the Mississippi) - anyhow, based on El Niño, we're expecting an especially hot and dry early summer. The latter half, unknown whether it's expected to continue.

Personally, I'm hoping for a few hours of rain every day while I'm at work, and otherwise, high temps in the 90's and bone dry / sunny.

www.abc.net.au...

At this link you may find some weather info we are experiencing in Aussie. Not that I mind. Saves on heating. Autumn here now and last year I was cutting and splitting wood at this time. Sea temp is up which for me means good outside/ocean fishing.

Winter may come back with a vengence though so as it cools down I'll be cutting heaps of firewood.

I hear and read irregulary of record summer temps across the country. Maybe this may be experienced in the Northern Hemisphere as the seasons progress in 2016.

Kind regards,

Bally

Well here in South Africa it has been a Murderous, vicious summer, the worst in 12 years in this region. This part of the province had disastrous drought and the dam feeding the town nearby ran dry.We have an aquifer out here in the Bush, watertrucks from town were running 24/7,people were starting to seriously worry,as many cannot afford to keep buying bottled water. The humidity was suffocating all summer long, people were sickly with the heat.We also had a mild winter before the ordeal of a summer.

Hey come to the US to Georgia. Then you can have both 100 in the summer and 0 in the winter.

It has been raining like crazy here and snowing in the mountains above me. We are above average for rainfal this year. You dont know this? Maybe its a media thing. Ive been dealing with flooded streets. compromised flooded drainage roof pipes and floods inside the steel mill I work at.

The rivers through my town have dams up stream. They are flowing big time. Want pictures? I drive over them every day.

Here is what news doing. depriving you of anything that will put out their doom porn fire. Its been raining for days, with major cloud bursts. Streets flooded. Many dams overflowing of raising quickly. I think there was 3 feet of snow pack in a matter of a couple days in the sierras. Why dont you know this?
