I spoke to a blind man who had seen burnt shadows.

now put the two together

You sort of have to also put together "granite is a really really good insulator".

The Giza pyramids are mostly limestone.
Does that matter?

Nope - most pyramid building materials are good insulators. Unless it's one of those that's made out of dirt like a modified hill.

That must be what makes them such good energy field generators.

There's not much hope for something like EM energy. I guess they would tend to hold heat, though, so if your idea of an energy field generator meant "lukewarm heat at night for a bit" then they might be just the thing.

I'm waiting for the "Kirlian field photograph of a pyramid emitting an energy beam" photo.

eta: hey - a warm pyramid would emit very low level microwave radiation. Does that count?

Does that?

On cold nights, you betcha.

eta: and don't dogs face north when they poop? Obviously, they're looking at the Pole Star AND emitting energy fields.

This means they're sort of a portable pyramid.

Magnetic or true?

Oh, true north then...no Tucker does a half turn or so first, other than that it seems pretty random. Maybe he's actually a broken retriever.

Sounds like he's trying to recalibrate himself. Sort of like having to spin your phone around to calibrate the flux gate compass inside.

Maybe if you rolled him a few times and then flipped him end over end too, you'd get all three spin axes?

No.
When he's in the mood I give him plenty of space.

It just came to me that he is functioning as an ass-end-shi''n' machine as well. I think we've got it covered.

Not really a machine.

On the other hand, an escalator is an ascension machine.

(Pyramids) I have always thought of them as huge batteries dispensing power; to what purpose?

No, no, an escalator is more like a big exercise machine that no one uses correctly.

No. If anything escalators are storing power in you. Loading you up with potential energy.

You can make use of that energy by jumping from the third floor to the first.

Escalators are self powered; you have to physically climb the Pyramid (unless cheat and find the hidden holes to King or Queen Chambers). Those structures were built in anticipation of a later tourist exercise/experience possibly being needed. Who says an ancient culture cannot foresee future needs.

Then you have thought...wrongly.

It's a pile of rock. There's nothing being stored there except rock. It's a really big rock warehouse.

All you really need is a pyramid and just a little luck.
