People can protest if they wish, something is often pro constitution until irritates a conservative and then it is the opposite.

Mr. Trump , through his Words and Deeds , is an American Patriot . Those who try to Brand him something else , are themselves delusional .

Which words and deeds? Can you name any?
-abuses H1B program
-4 bankruptcies
-screwed over investors
-P*sses off UK, Dubai, Mexico
-Says a female newscaster must be on her period due to her attitude.
-Modeling Agency/University are frauds...waiting for SHTF on wine and steaks.
-Famous for odd hair, mismanaging business and starring in a reality TV show.

(this page will not be big enough- but you get the idea)

I brand him a lot of things, none of which are Patriot and I am not delusional.

Something is often pro constitution until it irritates a liberal/progressive/statist/socialist and then it is the opposite.

Goes both ways.

What matters is the truth, not the perception.

No. Conservatives get all the credit for this particular way of turning something upside down and backwards.

I will vote for Trump. Was that your intent in this and all the other threads?

Trump and anyone who would support him are a clear and present danger to freedom and equality.

What about those who's motivation for supporting Trump are just to bring about the end of the Republican Party?

Crazy? I know, but I'm tired of the GOP and it's bs.

Good point. I'm excited that so many republicans are finally fed up with the dirty tricks and lies that plague the modern GOP. It is definitely time for a change on in their side of the ring. And don't get me wrong, i think immigrants should follow the rules and I enjoy taking advantage of the 2nd amendment for recreational purposes, but I very strongly believe in freedom and equality (because ALL men were created equal. Its an ugly, unamerican red flag so many republicans ignore this), so I cannot ignore the unconstitutional carpet ban on Muslims because it was xenophobic, unamerican and dripping with cowardice. I cannot abide the enthusiastic support for torture because it's evil. The comments about most Mexican imigrants being rapists and murderers was pure racism. The comments about wanting to change libel laws to control the media so critics won't speak out negatively about him is a huge red flag.

Once the domestic terrorist organizations decided that trump represented their interests and openly join the team the benefit of the doubt was lost forever. I don't care if some of the GOP team were once good and honest people who only agree with the more reasonable positions and not the openly racist, facsist, xenophobic ones, they are all part of of the same team now, and as far as I'm concerned, not jumping ship makes them just as horrible human beings as the openly evil and objectivly dangerous facets of the modern republican party. The GOP is broken. The unhinged tea party surge made right wing extremism entertaining. Tea party voters wanting a gop change back then may have meant well but it backfired, and now your party has been commeneered and literally turned into a reality t.v. show where only the most belligerent, crude, and extreme survive. The thought process used to choose the Leader of the Free World really should be different than that used to choose a winner on American idol or dancing with the stars.

So please do break up the party, change partys, or vote for new less insane representatives next time instead of the obstructionist nuts that rolled in with the tea party, but taking a squat on everything america is supposed to stand for out of pure spite is unacceptable, and frankly, unforgivable.

Hitler was left wing, so was Mussolini and Trump. The KKK were a bunch of Prius driving, dope smoking, gay marriage loving Democrats too!

You do realize that what Trump is doing isn't really anything? He's flipped on issues just keep everyone on their toes. What he really wants is something I'm not sure of yet. But he is obviously acting, though the egomaniac part isn't. I'm betting on it being The Donald vs Bernie, and I might support Sanders then.

Trump's an insult comic running for political office. Think he cares what you or I really think and why we'd vote for this mad man? He's got the idea that any coverage is good coverage on him, and it's working. I'm expecting him to destroy Hillary in the primary if she's not wearing an orange jumpsuit by being a heck of a lot more centrist than the current persona and the way she's very condescending.

If Trump can't stay consistent or credible for what he says 5 months ago how the hell is he supposed to seen as credible for a 4 to 8 year term of office???

So yes, rhetoric from a few months ago can certainly be used to make claims against him.

That the Bernie supported rioters are stomping on American flags and wearing shirts which say "F*** Amerikkka" while trumping on the 1st amendment rights of Americans shows how anti-American they are at their core.

Was he giving them gas money? Flags to burn? Living expenses? Speaking in favor of people doing such things? Or was Bernie Sanders not supporting them and you're just making up lies, hoping someone believes them?

I know the answer: you were lying. Or believed someone who lied to you, in which case, you should be more careful about who you trust. Earlier in the long post, I realized you're confused about what communism is, but I kept reading. Once I got to the lies, though, I didn't bother with the rest, because I knew I wouldn't be able to trust anything you have to say.

Lying doesn't strengthen your position, it weakens it. There are plenty of people who want to believe lies, to reinforce the beliefs they hold which they know to be built on shaky foundations, but what is the point? The lying is soooo obvious, it's only going to work on people who want to believe it. The rest of us can easily detect the ridiculously obvious bovine excrement.

I'd say "nice try", but it was actually such a poor effort, you wouldn't have gotten away with it even if you were a Clinton or Bush.

I agree, I really don't think Sanders has anything to do with organizing or funding these groups that use violence and shaming to shut down political speech.

I think Bernies platform is being hijacked by these radical leftist groups like BLM and MoveOn.org to support their own agenda.

That, I can agree with.
[This post ended up really long. TL;DR - what I can see happening is like the hijacking of the Tea Party, and that just sucks - full, angry details below]

A different, but a similar recent example is what happened with the "Tea Party." Initially it was a libertarian movement, then it was hijacked.

The first wave of Tea Party conservatives were overwhelmingly fiscal conservatives who believed there was no place for an overbearing federal government to control people's personal choices (ie gay marriage, abortion) or limit freedoms (ie gun control.) They were all for a strong national DEFENSE, and didn't cower in fear of terrorists, unlike the millions of sissies who figured throwing away the Constitution would make us safer, because then there would be no freedoms to be jealous of, and hence no reason to attack.

The Tea Party movement, representing the political views of most Americans, was rapidly gaining steam, too quickly to stop. So instead, it was co-opted/hijacked. It happened so fast, most people don't remember what it started as.

It became just a louder, more determined Neocon wing. Their tone on spending, interventionist policy, and freedom of choice was suddenly flipped to the opposite. The former Democrats abandoned the Tea Party and begrudgingly went back to their own "lesser of two evils." The True Conservative Republicans who thought they finally had their party back realized not only did they not, but that the fake conservatives had grown their support by millions of newly politically active voters, hoodwinked into believing their opposite of conservatism beliefs were Conservative, and their freedom-smashing dreams were Patriotism.

Libertarianism hijacked and turned upside down into examples like these:

"PATRIOT Acts are nice for Defense, but we're still really, really scared of the big bad scary terrorists! Spend! Spend! Spend! Attack abroad! We have no faith in the US Military's ability to defend our nation! "

"It is the job of government to limit freedoms to those which conform to Fundamentalist, Evangelical Christianity."

To self: breathe, breathe... Went longer than I intended, but I see what's happening, and probably what will happen with any good, useful political movement. What Bernie Sanders and his thinking supporters stand for isn't this garbage, it isn't these idiots. Scumbags who have no intention of or intellectual capacity to make things better can't grow movements on their own - they would fizzle out. If the Tea Party started out as it is today, it would have died out long ago. What's happening "in the name of Bernie" is much the same. The stupids (and the establishment) see the gathering steam, latch on, and make it seem like this is what it is and has always been about.

The original intent, with actual merits (and flaws as well, of course), is replaced with garbage, and thus, greater numbers, for and against the movement are flushed into the ugliest corners of "The Great Divide." Instead of actually moving toward improving our nation (for the actual citizens, not for corporations), another potentially useful faction, the Bernie supporters will leave, disillusioned by the hijacked movement, or stay and join the Tea Party as the left-hand side of the collection of sidelined movements, co-opted to benefit the scumbags on the left in DC, as the Tea Party was/is to the benefit of the scumbags on the right.

It's sickening how easy it appears to be for "Them" to control any viable and useful opposition, and especially disturbing how hardly anyone (outside of ATS-types, of course) seems to even notice it happening.

The only silver lining to Trump is that even if he were to get elected, and then suspend future elections he's too old to govern for much longer than 2 terms anyways.

Trump is not going to get elected, but he may do a lot of damage to America on the way to failure.

And where did all that ass-kissing polite diplomacy get us?

Pretty much in the crapper and right where we are right now.

People don't want the US to be norway or sweden, they can move to the real thing if they want.

Same with anyone else that feels like the USA should be like some other country.

The left has never been honest, btw.

Who gives a crap if Trump "says mean things" ... the quality of his speech and rhetoric merely define him for the vainglorious megalomaniacal TV cartoon that he has been for decades. Nope, my statement was based on the fact that there is a certain portion of the population that are all too happy to have their inner demons released, to be permitted to openly fly their flags of racism and xenophobia (not to mention guttersnipe manners) again and act out their secret authoritarian fantasies ... at least on the small scale of a typical Trump rally where they outnumber the "opposition."

We've seen what happens now when they aren't in the overwhelming majority ... they tamp their feet and whine about being "victims."

"Bullies of the world unite" under the Trump banner. Careful though, bullies are usually revealed as the cowards they are, sooner than later.
