There is no need for Trump to save face after that situation. He acted like any other person would if they were in his shoes. Nobody here is calling him an implacable demi-god by the way, funny that you had to bring it up. Though it gave food to some thought now. Could be possible that people who oppose him the most see him as some godly figure who needs to be taken down at any cost.

"Calling" and "treating him like" are two different things. One of the phrases I used, the other is your twist on the narrative.

When you preach hatred, what you project out will find its way back to you.

You racist trump supporters should take heed. Minorities will only tolerate your ignorance for so long.

Keep pushing your hatred agenda. See what happens.

1) Trump has not preached hatred (doesn't matter how many times you say it, it won't become true)
2) The leftist organisations have already resorted to violence, so no need to threaten it.
3) Quit calling people you don't even know racists the race division perpetrated by the left is wearing very thin.
4) Given that these leftist organisations have already initiated violence , be very very grateful that the people they are attacking are being tolerant.

On a separate point about the progressive terrorist who tried to attack Trump today... Given his ties to Isis, he should be taken to Gitmo and kept there for life. They don't even have to give him a trial. They are the rules now.

Also, the social media friends of his who knew what he was going to do and encouraged him, should also be taken to Gitmo and interrogated until they are cleared or not - however long that takes.

Well pardon me on that. I didn't mean to twist your text at all, was just my own train of thought that somehow correlated both calling and treating someone as the same thing when I wrote that. My point still stands that no one here treats him as demi-god.

Well Xarian, I cannot disagree with anything you say here. Living here in this madhouse is a chore to remain sane. I, along with many others, as I alluded to above, really thought that this aberration would self correct, would self destruct if just given time. That the American voter would be shaken from our slumber and point this megalomaniac out for what he is. I thought that the general American would see him as you see him and flush him out of the race, a lesson to be learned.

But instead I now think that most of us have grossly miss-comprehended the minds of so many of our fellow citizens. Trump is not just pulling support from the far right, though even the far right is to some degree against him, but rather the silent people who have never been very interested in politics before. People who have not much knowledge of history and social dynamics.

Remember now that here in the USA, we have been bombarded for 70 years with the propaganda that we are the saviors of the world. That we stepped in and put down that virulent dog in Germany and that kamikaze army from the East. You are right that we seek a Messiah, but under that and above that we have been taught the it is WE, the USA that is the messiah. That Manifest Destiny still holds true.

Over the last few decades many of us have out grown these old propaganda driven beliefs, and it is only now, in the presence of an other virulent dog, this one among us, that some of us are coming to realize that it CAN happen here, and in reality IS happening here. But now for me, what is even more unsettling is that so many of us still do not recognize what we report to hate when it is staring us straight in the face.

So I for one will not tell you to butt out, to shut up because in our foolishness we are on the verge of crowning our King and at that point he will not only be our problem, but everyone else's too. So please continue to speak freely as long as you can and maybe we can stem this menace before it is too late.

In your opinion maybe. All these people rising up and shouting "save us Donald, save us from the establishment" should scare you; since they don't seem to know what the establishment is.

He doesn't have to speak hate to fuel it.
He just needs to push the right buttons and say the right things.. while smirking and being "aloof"

Just like every good troll working under the rules does to create massive division amoungst what were once tight community's.. exposing the cracks of a tentative social structure and forwarding the divisive ethos from inside the power vacum.. consolidating a power-base on divisional emotional reaction.

and he's doing a fine job of that, too good.

You say the powermongers are scared... because another powermonger is "winning".. i ask you this.

How does that work for you, the little guy between two powermongers?
think very carefully.. please.. you are running out of time to end this before it becomes full scale chaos, wake up from the "agendas" and see this is all a giant clusterpluck and your being used to destroy your selves from within..

you can... just not vote...

That is your most powerful, and honestly your only, real weapon here... backing another powermonger just makes you someone else's peon/pawn.. pushing the powermongers agenda on the boards like a job isn't very smart as soon it'll all be over and your stuck with that flag on your persona.. we are meant to be smart here.. im not seeing a lot of smart, im not seeing any debate really.. i have no idea what the other's stand for as it's drowned out like a flood.

and always with an underlying, seething hate that all to quickly devolves into poo slinging.. no debate, no forward movement.. just angry folks slinging pre prepared poo at each other... for someone else's powerplay.

The world is in a bad place right now, it's not just America, but if you chose this man to lead you.. we can expect poo slinging on a global scale.. as that's just "what he does".. and what you love.. and what you've become for it.

So what does Donald preach at his rallies, if not hate and the 'us vs them' mentality?

The 'US vs THEM' mentality naturally leads to hate. You guys do know this right?

I have listened to many of his rallies.
The message is the same.

Summary:

Highly critical of the lobbyists and politicians they control
Highly critical of countries stealing jobs and manipulating currencies to tip the trade balance away from America.
Critical of Isis and wants to destroy them
Concerned with the hatred breeding in the Muslim world for America (NOT a new thing and not something linked to anything he has said because its been around for a long time)
Strong on borders
Tough on antagonists

Which one of the above is fuelling hatred towards average Americans - the people?

Compare this to media talking heads like Glen Beck who have called for his murder.
Compare this to the disgraceful behaviour of the organised protest that turned into intimidation.
Compare this to the attempted organised attack on him today
Compare this to Hillary Clinton blaming Trump for the SC church shootings.
Lastly, and most importantly, compare this to the tens of millions of TV ads flooding the airwaves demonising a man with half truths, speculations and lies - you don't think they are fuelling anything?

So many lies, so much manipulation. Who is really fuelling hatred here?

Donald Trump is a troll. His supporters are the new American Nazi's...

We've been watching for years as Republicans have been raising the rhetoric against dems. After 9/11, dems were labeled Anti-American. When Obama came along he was a secret Muslim who "palled around with terrorists". Healthcare equated to evil death panels! This has been the right wing main stream propaganda! Their rhetoric has been sooo extreme.

Having a black, secret muslim, socialist, terrorist, illegal president for 8 years has made them go full sh*t balls insane.

They've completely lost their minds. They cheer on deportation and torture and muslim hate. They excuse Trump supporters who get violent on protesters. Trump encourages violence and they cheer for him!

EVERYTHING they stand for is a double standard. HIGHEST level of hypocrisy, and THEY KNOW IT, but DON'T CARE.

They are the new Nazi's. Impossible to reason with. Absolutely impossible. So where does it end?

Strong on borders = Mexicans are rapists.
Tough on antagonists = I'd do a lot worse than waterboarding... We need to take out their families...

And then of course the violence he encourages at his rallies.

Don't be dense.

He has no face to save.

This is simple stuff. He puts his security in place so he can focus on his speech. His hired security being ready is an extent of Trump being ready. It's precautions he took.

Those who seem shaken, those who are in need of saving face? That would be the protesters who feel so threatened by Trump's opinions that they feel the need to shut down his rallies as they're that scared, that shaken, that threatened by freedom of speech.

Come on, are you really doing this? Are you really going to treat Trump like some implacable demi-god.

A guy getting run up on from behind when giving a speech, who's security detail handled the attacker and whom had a natural human reaction to turn around and see what was happening, is me equating him to an implacable demi-god?

What was he supposed to do, tear off his shirt, pull out the Hammer of Thor and attack?

That's actually an incredible insult to those who were slaughtered by Nazis.

For all the hate Trump is accused of, there's only one side who's calling him Hitler, only one side comparing his supporters to Nazis and North Koreans, only one side who literally tried to physically assault him earlier today, only one side who's showing up at the rallies of another candidate with the intent to prevent free speech from taking place while threatening supporters with violence, and only one side who's sporting "F*** Amerikkka" shirts and stomping on the American flag, while the other side sports hats saying "Make America Great Again".

You've miscalculated who and what the enemy is.

Maybe if he stopped appealing to racists and bigots, and stopped inciting violence at his rallies, and stopped with the push for war crimes like torture and murder-- maybe he would be LESS compared to Hitler. The dude quotes Mussolini. I mean WTF.

This story was just released.
It's not from a major news outlet...and it relies on an anonymous source.
It also seems to speculate on circumstantial evidence.
That said, it was just released, so we'll see if anything is developed.

BREAKING: Black Trump supporter shot and killed by Chicago protesters

Christian Times Newspaper has learned that an African-American supporter of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has died after allegedly sustaining gunshot wounds in the aftermath of Friday night’s chaos in Chicago. Robert King Bullock, aged 37, was a resident of Chicago’s Evanston suburb.

According to Bullock’s friend, who also attended the Trump rally, Robert was an avid chef, and he recently obtained his Masters of Business Administration and planned to open a local restaurant.

This source spoke with CTN on the condition of anonymity, and asked to be referred to as “Terry.” He called for Bullock’s death to serve as a reminder to anti-Trump groups and the mainstream media. “Rob was a black man, but he supported Trump because he got tired of Democrats saying his race was the thing holding him back,” Bullock’s friend told CTN. “[Rob] lost his job because of Obamacare. He lost his brother to black-on-black gang violence. Now he lost his life because he believed in a white man.

His race didn’t have a damn thing to do with what held him back.” Bullock and Terry were separated in the chaos that followed the protesters’ interruption of the planned Trump rally, which led to widespread violent scuffles and the event’s cancellation.

It is believed that he attempted to make his way to a nearby bar to charge his dead cell-phone and reconnect with Terry.

Multiple sources have confirmed that protesters and Trump supporters continued to clash as they moved from the UIC Pavillion to their vehicles and nearby locations. It is believed that Bullock, at some point after leaving the event center, was confronted by protesters, beaten, then allegedly shot two times in the abdomen and left shoulder by a small to medium-size handgun.

Terry says that the circumstances surrounding the events are still unclear, and he only learned of Bullock’s death when his business card was found in the victim’s pocket. Terry says that Bullock asked for his contact information when the chaos erupted and he realized that his phone battery was dead.

Bullock’s body was discovered in the early hours of the morning by two homeless gentlemen. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead,

Terry says that two signs were also found next to Bullock’s body. One read, “Stop The Racist Trump.” The other was marked with, “Donald Trump = KKK.” This is a developing story, and CTN will bring you updated news as we gather more information.

I pray this is not true for two reasons

Firstly for this man's sake and his family.
Secondly, because this could escalate into something major.
