When did criticism of something become equatable to hate...I must have missed the ATS memo.

When you constantly profess your hate for the US it doesn't have to be considered equatable it is considered an established stance toward the US.

You will see this the longer you are here.

Why keep the people of NK from getting what they need.

And every year we don't have Russia and China agreeing with the US on sanctions concerning NK, so this is not just the normal rhetoric we see concerning NK.

Soooo... Sounds a bit like the US is creating threats, FBI stylee. Kim is nuts enough to be the perfect patsy for instigating a profitable new war, he just needs a provocative little push.

Which is why NK wont do anything. These are the usual threats from the fat man. Which is i posted that post about western media spreading fear and doom porn or rather war porn.

The threats happen every four years or so, i am not sure why its even a news headline.

NK does not have the support of China nor Russia.

Meanwhile, news reports said a North Korean submarine had gone missing earlier this week, sparking a search by the North's navy.

Dang , found it in the grandchildren's box of toys. Anyone know the mail address there where I can mail it back to em ?

Fox News states:

Yono class "midget" submarine that is diesel powered and has a crew of two, with room for a squad of saboteurs. It was unclear who may have been onboard.

That very well could be what is happening, but if it did sink who will little Kim blame for it?

This could be used as a way for little Kim to act out on his threats...hopefully not, as innocent the people of NK will suffer the most

That's why it is news.

In the past the US hasn't had the backing of those countries concerning NK, but now we do making it news.

That's illogical...No one even in this thread has professed any such hate for the U.S or the West.
This "established" stance is coming from your own confirmation bias that anybody whom criticizes U.S foreign policy or western civilization amounts to absolute hatred towards either.
I don't deny however that there are members on this site who do have a hatred towards the west...

Did I say in this thread...No I didn't.

Again once your here long enough you will see what I mean.

No it comes from actual comments, not my own confirmation bias.

I don't deny however that there are members on this site who do have a hatred towards the west...

Then why is it so hard to believe that what I am saying is true, since you yourself don't deny the fact that there are some on ATS that hate the US?

You said to intrptr; SO your hate of the west is so bad you can't see what is really going on around you...amazing.

No it comes from actual comments, not my own confirmation bias.

So you admit that any comments criticizing the U.S or the west are equatable to a stance of hatred...?
If I criticize any aspect of the west be it culture, economics, politics and etc. By your logic I'm suddenly a hater of the west?

Then why is it so hard to believe that what I am saying is true, since you yourself don't deny the fact that there are some on ATS that hate the US?

I didn't say I don't believe you that criticism can sometimes be attributed to a sentiment of hate..All I said was your reasoning is just illogical as the two terms are not equatable all the time.

Yes I did...as this isn't the first time we have crossed paths in a thread concerning the US, so maybe I shouldn't have said amazing, because this is nothing new.

So you admit that any comments criticizing the U.S or the west are equatable to a stance of hatred...?

This really has no bearing on the thread itself so unless you have anything to say about the premise of the thread I am not the topic here, and my opinions are just that my opinions.

If I criticize any aspect of the west be it culture, economics, politics and etc. By your logic I'm suddenly a hater of the west?

No when you do it to all aspects of the west then yes you are.

All I said was your reasoning is just illogical as the two terms are not equatable all the time.

Really, how can one say that without knowing the whole story...that is illogical to think you can.

And I base my comments on past debates, so if that helps can we get back on topic.

Does kimmy not understand the US and several allies have nukes and that NK would glow once the dust settles. Kimmy needs to be an exception to the EO prohibiting assassination of foreign leaders.

He knows, but the question is does he care?

At this point in time I don't think he is thinking what the consequences of his action would be, but hopefully someone explains it to him before it's too late.

Kimmy needs to be an exception to the EO prohibiting assassination of foreign leaders.

That would be nice, but I think China and Russia will look at that option if things deteriorate much further.

They can't afford to have a crazy man with nukes to keep doing what he is doing.

I imagine Austria thought the same thing about Hitler and look how that turned out.

Never underestimate a crazy man with nukes.
