Wow a silver bird/bug traveling so fast that it only makes it in a few frames? Really?

You can't tell the distance, hence, you have NO idea of the speed.

A bug up close.

I can clearly see the distance of the object. And it is in the background behind the building up high in the sky.If you want to keep thinking it's a bug that's ok...The earth is also flat and the center of the universe.

There doesn't appear to be anything establishing distance in the op. Nothing to really tell you where the object is in relation to the camera.

I can tell the object is in the background. At the same time you can't say for sure the object is right in front of the lens.

A challenge for you bedlam, show me a similar video of a big traveling across the screen at the same rate of speed and we can put this to rest.

You can't TELL the speed. That's my point. If you have NO idea of the distance from the lens, and the angle of the lens, you CANNOT determine the speed.

Bedlam, a freaking monkey can see that the object is in the background high in the sky...For it to travel across the whole frame it would have to be supersonic

You really can't - are we watching the same video? The one in the OP? It never seems to cross over anything that would be a giveaway to relative distance.

Show me just one video of a bug doing the same exact thing at the same speed ..Until you can,all of you are grasping at straws trying to explain this away. Thanks

I don't need a video. I have trig.

That's nice because you can't..

Rather than spending your time watching videos of insects on YouTube, perhaps you ought to consider going back and finishing 8th grade math.

Please tell us the exact math you have calculated .I am waiting.

I've made no claims as to the insect's speed, unlike you and your "well above supersonic speeds" claptrap. Show us how you determined that or crawl back under whatever bridge you came from.

I don't need to. How many frames would it take for a bug to cross the lens's field of view at, say, 6", going 5mph? I'm sure you can calculate it.

Lol you can't find a similar video so you try to come up with this lol I won't play your games bedlam.

It's not a "game". It's the math. Can you do it? I suspect even grade school math is past you.

It's more real than a Youtube video. Come on, you can do it, can't you?

You are the one claiming it is supersonic, please show the maths you used to calculate that.
We are all waiting....

Tbh, saw that source-link... for sure i didn`t click it, waste of time and data(the actual currency to pay anything with in the web, even if people think it´s free) just to watch some UFO hoax.
Just saying...
xD

From the shape of the body , and the wing placement , I would say it was some form of bee . Watch the video again with a bee in mind...

Looking at the video and with no professional experience, I think it is a bug.

Also, where is the sonic boom if this this is travelling faster than super sonic?

lol....i love threads like this...

"hey guys watch this ufo travel at super sonic speeds..."

turns out some people don't know what bugs are...
I mean cmon guys...next you're going to be telling me the earth is 6000 years old and flat....and I'm supposed to believe that?

It was created on the morning of October 23, 4004 BC. So 6000 years is a bit off.

Incredible video depicting a UFO going well above supersonic speeds! What I find interesting is that in these supersonic UFO videos there is no sound barrier being broken. This lends credence to how Bob Lazar explained there propulsion system. In reality The UFO is not moving at all it's space/time being displaced by gravitational waves focused /triangulated at the destination. This also eliminates the problems of extreme GS on the crafts occupants.

Wish I had one of these babies! Maybe in another lifetime

Another UFO video goes incredibly wrong when it pretends to know some out-of-the-world explanation for how those vehicles operate. Let's keep it simple, OK?

UFOs obviously can ignore their own mass and that allows incredible maneuverability. That feature is a given. The enveloping field that they produce extends out into the surrounding air making it massless also. With that, the atmospheric particle do not jam up in the same way as happens ahead of a plane. It is a far more gentler displacing of the air both in front of and behind the craft as the massless air moves into the vacated area behind the ship. The vehicle slips through the air, water or even space itself with ease, making no sound as there is no great disturbance in the air.

What this thread shows some people are so desperate to believe in supersonic UFO's they totally ignore the more obvious and mundane explanation- It was just a insect!

Total and utter BS theories with absolutely NO proof.

The moral of this story is that you must consider the most plausible explanation first, the fact that many discerning eyes consider it a more mundane natural event doesn't mean that it's not what you suggest it is... It just means that it's too ambiguous.

People have made an effort to explain this to you... So this is a positive not a negative.

Thanks for posting

It must be amazing to be the sort of person who believes every bug and star and cloud caught on film is a flying saucer. What a magical world that must be.

The frame rate is low the object is close to the camera, as all the objects from the plane to the very distant background are in focus and the object looks out of focus it is close to the camera.

Here is an example fence in focus house roof 200ft behind in focus clouds in focus BUT bricks close to the lens OUT of FOCUS,

Just like the bug in the video.
