How about a Oh HELL NO ?

That's my thoughts

The VP slot is just window dressing with no real power.

But 'WHAT IF' he did...would you consider supporting it?

Well, since Sanders would never support it, neither would I.

They are too far apart in their ideologies. Everything from immigration to taxes to .... well pretty much everything. There's just not enough middle ground for them to meet up on.

Not gonna happen.

If was just a hypothetical...I made that clear in the OP.

Sorry, I just can't even go there hypothetically. It would be like trying to team up Hitler with Gandhi. I'm not saying Trump is just like Hitler, I'm just saying they are too opposite. One of them would have to give up most of their ideology/platform to make it work. I don't think either of them would be willing to do that.

this is possibly the only way that i would not vote for Bernie Sanders. Trump is nothing like Bernie.

Exactly, which is why if they teamed up together, mutually respectfully, they could do great things. The best minds from both worlds - hammering it out in private.

I know that, TAT. I'm afraid it just took everyone by surprise.

I am not a fan of Trump. I just see a kind of "detante" that could occur if two people with equally strong ideas and equally strong track records could sit down together and hash it out just like Congress is supposed to do!

I am a Bernie supporter, 100%. We were just chatting about "what-if" scenarios, and I was playing along.

Anyway, have a good night, everyone.

I actually could see Trump and Sanders joining forces. They could create a dynamic yin/yang in politics that hasn't existed before. Do we need another party of 'Yes' men/women on either side?

It would be the perfect Libertarian Ticket. Odd that neither one knows they hold both of the Libertarian conservative/liberal extremest principles.

I'll just say this - I would only support it if Trump were to switch over to Bernie's side on immigration, education, taxes and healthcare. They both say that corruption in Congress needs to be fixed, so there's one thing they already agree on. The rest of it, they could hash out any way they choose.

I'll say this...NOTHING will make me more suspicious than a Trump/Sanders ticket. Aren't coalition governments a hallmark of the NWO? Isn't that what they really want?

If this happened it would be the signaling of Sanders betraying everything he has ever stood for.
a reply to: Krazysh0t

Agreed. I would be surprised if he accepted running with Hillary if she ends up with the democratic nomination.

Bernie is totally against corporate influence and the elite. He's honest, respectful and considerate. A complete opposite personality than Trump. I would doubt he would even consider running with Trump.

Okay, in the light of morning, I totally retract my previous stance.
Trump is an ass.
Bernie is fabulous.
So - no.

Was fun to think about....
but the riots at Trump's rallies speaks volumes. St Louis is disgraceful.

I had been pondering this thought for months wondering
if something crazy like your OP would ever happen & what
people would think... but I was thinking if Sanders P & Trump VP.

Cheers
Ektar

I am going to run away and join the circus; then return when the election cycle is finished only if Walt Disney is elected.
How can such an erudite successful billionaire businessman then act like such a huckster circus ring master at these rallies?

That is not going to happen; there is no Libertarian 3rd party ticket available to vote for.
