Yes there was an idea floated a while back about using a PAC-3 (MIM-104F) as an a2a missile. Its about half the weight of a Standard so you could carry more but it would have alot less range

I'm assuming that a THAAD could also be modified and given its Mach 8 speed it would cover a ton of distance quickly

The Meteor is such a filthy piece of engineering.

The XASM-3 also fits that category, it would be something fantastic with a booster stage, like a carrier-killing Navajo...

And it'll be interesting to see if the idea of an 'endoatmospheric kinetic kill vehicle' gains any traction. A guided APFSDS-style kill stage that closes at Mach 8-10 would be God's own unevadable kill round.
