This is some of my writings. Feel free to reply with your own if you like. I think it would also be fun if we could start a limerick thread that everyone can participate in, just an idea if anyone wants to start one.

every step
comes with air
of revelations—
on the tip
there is
a grand stillness
with the stars

Sad Leaves

Outside my window
I see the melancholy
The sad leaves free
of not knowing where to go

Anchored Mistakes

those eyes—
harboring in the shadows
even in a bucket of sun
you can't escape

Porch Morning Haiku

New dawn splintered
a wink of enlightenment—
the Robin is singing

Porch Night Haiku

I'll love you always
underneath the angelic dust—
even after I die

Write my name Solitude

Arms folded to the moon
—in rainy dawn
What does she say
To the bird’s sad song of life?

Write my name in Solitude
O’ sweet angel above
In the cold rose dusk
Where your winds gently blow

How I wish I could know
O' how I wish I could know

The silent echoes
Splinter the seasons
The beauty dies
Yet still grows

Must be Nice

I agree
there is something
particularly special
—about you
how else
could you replicate
the same feeling
I get
when craving
ice cream
in the
of the night
when I switch
on the light
to my kitchen
and I’m greeted
by the biggest
I've ever seen

My favourite is the last one. Its funny to think about the type of person you would write that about. Good work in the spirit of sharing here something I created.

sinister intentions
from behind the trees
i watch you patiently
through the thick leaves
your movement
betrays you
and incites my glee
for i am just a kitten
hunting a bee

sorry for the silly nature of it. lol

Lost in a Moment

Mornings come rushing
with slammed goodbyes—
regret and apologes consume
the hands of the clock

In the warm afternoon breeze
a dreaded smile waits—
remembering how it was
to once be anxious to see

The house ages
through the night
and creaks the memories
swept under the rug

Alone in the distance
she falls asleep beside me
hoping to dream of waking up—
the love anchoring us apart

Wow this is one of the few poems I've ever liked in my entire life. Sounds like it could be a children's book.
