I am REALLY souring on Sanders.

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders is proposing a plan that would bring back undocumented immigrants who have been deported from the U.S. if they have close relatives living in the country.

The idea was part of the Vermont independent's wide-ranging immigration plan released on Tuesday that includes many ideas shared by his Democratic rivals, including more protections for the 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. But Sanders' plan is the first to extend protections to immigrants who have already been sent back to their home countries.

So lets let them back in if they have family? AFTER they were deported for breaking the law? This proposal is absurd.

Listen I thin kit's sad what happens to a lot of illegals, but the situation is untenable. We can't keep letting these low skilled people in and paying for their expenses. We have our OWN people struggling to eat and stay in a home.

Democrats buying future votes with our tax dollars.

Really?

(from your link)

In Sanders' case, he argues that bringing back deported immigrants is needed to keep together family units of all kinds. Immigration activists have long argued that the country's deportation apparatus often breaks up families, deporting parents of U.S.-born children, separating siblings and creating fractured family units on both sides of the border. But they have focused on stopping future deportations, not bringing back people who have already been deported.

"The United States must do the right thing and guarantee the swiftest possible reunification of these broken families," Sanders' immigration plan reads.

I love him more and more.

That's how cults work.

So basically get a chick pregnant with a welfare baby and you get to stay. Or get pregnant with a welfare baby and you get to stay.

Did ya even read the article you linked?

The proposal takes advantage of an existing tool called "parole in place." In the vast majority of cases, undocumented immigrants who want to apply to become legal residents in the U.S. must return to their home country to start the process. But the Department of Homeland Security has the power to grant "parole in place" status to some immigrants "for urgent humanitarian reasons," which would allow them to stay in the U.S. while their application is being considered.

He's not talking about giving them a totally free pass. They still have to apply for citizenship. They'll just get to do it while living with their citizen family members in the U.S.

I did, I think that you didn't read it before you posted or else you would have brought this up initially. He wants to let them stay in the country illegally while they apply to get in legally. It's absurd.

If you want your money going to Southern Americans send it to them. Don't ship them up here to commit crimes (look at the most recent mass shooting committed by an illegal) and leach off welfare and Bernies healthcare plan.

"" Bernie Sanders wants to bring back deported immigrants ""

Of course he does.

It will help the continuation of the deterioration of the Middle Class.

The master plan is to get all wages down to $12.50/hr for all.

They can't be reunited in Mexico (or wherever)? If the reunification of the family is what is really important here, what difference does it make where it happens?

Ah. Because here their votes can be bought with the promises of a welfare utopia.

I certainly don't see the US government giving a flying squat about it's own citizens!!!! Take care of our own before we attempt to take care of others? If you can't succeed in taking caring of your own as a government how do you justify taking on more?

Bet many people in the EU are feeling the same way just about now?

The "I Love Him More and More" was brilliant!!!!! 8 years ago........................

If they committed a mass shooting while applying for citizenship, I doubt their application would be approved.

I feel like a complete moron for donating to his campaign. His white guilt nonsense is going to ruin this country.

Bernie Sanders a Bum Who Didn’t Earn His First Steady Paycheck Until Age 40 Then Wormed His Way Into Politics

This was eye opening along with his assumption that white people don't struggle and only black folks live in ghettos.

I want everyone to have the same great healthcare regardless of income levels and get our nose out of other countries but that's about all I'm agreeing with him on.

Damn,

We have a criminal, an elitist, and a loon who wants to watch the world burn.

You guess who is who.

Dear God.

Is this guy for real? I thought he was nuts with his absurd economic plan which essentially pretends that we are not drowning in debt. THIS is crazier and so unfair.

SO people who go through the official channels will have the broken ass immigration system flooded with people who could not care less about doing things correctly. GREAT.

Really fair.

I watched the debate last night as I have most of the debates on both sides.

The debate last night was largely pandering to the Latino vote, by both Shillary and Bernie. At a US Presidential debate we had people asking the candidates questions who couldn't even speak English. At a US Presidential debate we actually had the threat to our country, otherwise known as Jorge Ramos who promotes illegals in this country, moderating.

Both Shillary and Bernie are a disgrace with their constant pandering to anyone and everyone but US citizens. That Bernie would pander to and offer re-entry to illegal law-breakers instead of tightening up our borders and fixing our immigration system while protecting the economy for working class Americans makes him about as anti-American as one can be.

My niece posted on Facebook that she was donating to his campaign.
I replied to her that if he is elected we will all be donating plenty.
A lot of things would be great to have, but a lot of his stuff is simply pipe dreams. The man stayed on that pipe too long.
We already have spent ourselves into trillions of dollars of debt as a country and he wants to spend trillions more?

no, you revoke the babies citizenship and deport it to. problem solved. Its called abusing the system and illegal foreigners have been sucking my tax dollars out of the system for years and years and years. frankly I'm not willing to support the entire world when i have trouble supporting myself. Its time these lawbreakers go back to their own messed up country and stop messing up mine.

I don't think that is constitutional. The baby was born a U.S. citizen. You cannot deport a U.S. citizen who was born that way.
