So policing is required because there are still abuses of the laws, which is why I said what I did.

Calling a majority of Muslims cowards because in the area they reside there are still crimes being committed by the minority is xenophobic.

Yes, it might seem cowardly but look at it this way, powerful and/or wealthy people or groups take these kids from the poorest families, Or simply take children that live on the streets with no parents, for the parents or anyone to fight for their kid or the homeless kid in an area where there is such poverty and unlawfulness will only accomplish most likely one thing, their death, the death of any other children they might have and if the child that is to be taken to be groomed as sex slave is spared then they still are victims of what they would have been in the first place with the addition of knowing the rest of family is dead.

To try and understand a parents perspective that is in that position of having their child taken, It would seem that the only coarse of action is let the child be taken instead of the child and their other children and them selves be killed, they obviously have faith in God, and might believe that the suffering and pain might be Gods plan for themselves and their child, taking action and causing the death of their family might feel like the wrong thing to do when in that situation.

Not fighting will keep all involved alive, maybe the parent was a victim of such as a child and recovered from the abuse and became a father, they might believe that is the path to take to spare themselves and their families life, its too much of complex situation to call people cowards because we dont really know their circumstances for being where they are.

Its too easy to believe others are cowards and parents dont care for their children because they are ...... take your pick, Arabs, Africans, any culture that is different than ones own due to racist issues many have.
I am not calling you a racist but pointing the fact that the type of thinking you displayed points to xenophobic issues one might not have on any given day but will show it from time to time when issues such the one this thread is about.
Its almost human nature, so many grow up and in their years of growing up there is war somewhere in the world and the tactics used by media and whatnot is to create xenophobia so that the governing bodies have less to worry about if ones own populace is more compliant towards the actions of their governments.

Its difficult to try and explain or view the situations through the eyes of the parents that might have children taken away for sick indulgences of sick people, to call them cowards or the majority of people cowards is like you yourself said, ignorant.

Live there for a period of time and experience it yourself, then you could make such a judgement, however all most us have to go from is whats reported in media and alternative media. There are agendas on both to divide the masses.

Could very well likely be perceived that you were talking about the posters you brought up, even though (I believe) you weren't, it was an ignorant way to post your thoughts, which you even agree that it was ignorant.

So No attack from my perspective just and observation and an attempt to give my perception on what it might be like to a parent over there that has their child taken for such a sick thing.

I wish humans would have more humanity, hopefully the generations to come might unite better that world is today and these things will become a dark history that should be known about so its never repeated.

Asking muslims to answer for it is like asking all white people to answer for the handful of Catholic priests that play with the altar boys. It's a bit of a ridiculous expectation.

I never said just one religion was better than others. We should castrate the catholic priests or throw them in jail, like the kind of jail they will receive the services they gave in turn.

But even our mixed culture has advanced far greater than Afghanistan's mix.

Islam is the glue that holds Afghanistan and most other nations in that area of the world's societies together.

I said right at the very beginning that I don't think Islam necessarily condones this sort of behaviour. But it sets the stage for it by repressing women.

And that is where Islam is still in the middle ages in most Muslim societies. They need to have a women's lib revolution like our ladies did. It's up to them to find out what shape and form more liberation should take, but it needs to happen.

I personally would like to see their females have equal or better freedoms as western women do. And I'd really love to see them burn the burqa in the streets like the feministas did with the bra in the 1980's. No more hiding away ladies, beauty should be on display for everyone to behold, not hidden away for a jealous man who probably does not appreciate you anyway.
