Thugs in the UK come in all colours/genders/sexual orientations...thug just means aggressive bastard who nobody particularly likes.

I've never said all of his supporters are racist. Some are and that is clear.

What I said is that some may see that statement and interpret it as racist. I can see why they might.

They are not telling black people to leave...they are telling protesters to leave. You are making it about race. Watch them throw out an old white guy with a walker....they throw out anyone who is protesting....

I wonder if you would make comments about "keeping it real" or "Cracka" if the man protesting was an old and white. It is my opinion that your comments are directly tied to the color of the man's skin and you lack the testicular fortitude to admit it.

A search for Rakeem Jones also did not turn up a criminal record in that county, but I am not really certain how their record keeping works, so we may not have access to everything. For now, whoever made that bet lost. Rakeem is clean.

Well, the truth is that thug today is a nominally polite way of using the N-word. Many people suspect it, and they are correct. When somebody talks about thugs ruining a place, it is almost impossible today that they are referring to somebody with blond hair. It is a sly way of saying there go those black people ruining things again. And so anybody who wonders whether thug is becoming the new N-word doesn't need to. It's most certainly is.

If you're not American then you're probably not going to be exposed to that side of the word, but in recent years it's a term to primarily describe young black men than simply ruffians.

The more frustrating part of this whole story is the fact that the guy who got punched was thrown to the ground by the police but the old guy was allowed to sit back in his seat. Only to be arrested some time afterwards.

The mans long hair could simply be slicked back in the photo, and he also is not going to be wearing his red hat. However the story of the 'agitators' seems to have changed.

In the MSNBC vid, he says they did nothing. In his own video, he comments that the woman in his party said something not very fanciful of the speaker, which leads a neighboring audience member to respond with a obscene remark, which lead to a scene. Eh, oh well. There is an internal investigation on the Sheriff's office now as well.

Well it appears the old man got his comeuppance after all.
