Well, it doesnt say. I now know allot about what went down in Chicago after reading that article, but nothing about why he was arrested.

It seems like he was doing a sit in at the site of a future mobile home /school. There is some mention from the biased papers saying that there were radical extremes taken to protest....though why not go a little crazy if your in that world and times.

Still cant say. He could have been peacefully protesting or throwing rocks at cops.

Dont know.

So you have no idea he was arrested protesting segregation and I would also assume you don't know he was at Martin Luther King, Jr. I Have A Dream speech.

You really think he's throwing rocks? You should revisit the Civil Rights movement.

No, like I said, I dont know. I was informed by another poster that he was arrested while I was refering to Hillary's current problems with the law and Trumps problems in court.

I have nothing against his efforts advancing civil rights. I even said he was probably doing something good there. I even said that considering the times and the world that it would be understandable to get crazy with the opposition.

How I feel about his chance as president is that his economic plan for the country is bankruptcy and he holds an illusion that we have more money than God. What we have is more debt than God.

I am a STRONG opponent of racism and any general abuse of power over the weak.

I know this was a misunderstanding. You and I agree on allot.

have a good one
Hold it down.

Sanders has been arrested before.

2nd.

So what exactly are you trying to imply here with that comment???

Seriously, this is what I just don't get with some of you. You drop in a comment like that as if it has any kind of relative information for this conversation. Like a comparison between Hillary, Trump and Sanders history of legal troubles are even the least bit comparable. They aren't at all, not even close.

Hillary is allegedly facing Criminal Federal Charges dealing with Leaking Secret Government Information from Negligence, or possibly Knowing leaking them, who knows.

Trump is facing a Civil Lawsuit of Fraud. Or Conspiracy to commit Fraud or whatever the hell it is he's facing. But basically he's accused of Fraud, Deceptive Business Practices and Ripping people off.

Sanders was arrested decades ago for his part in Fighting For Civil Rights. He's literally a champion of the People. Someone who was arrested Fighting for Freedom for Oppressed People of this Country. He's a F*cking Hero of the People. He's someone who was arrested Fighting for the Freedom and Liberty of your Own Country's Men and Women and Children against a System of Oppression.

These there people and their issues they face of legality aren't comparable and to imply anything like that is beyond shameful. It's dishonest, nasty, slanderous BS Propaganda at it's very best. At it's worst I don't know if there is a word for it that I can come close to.

I get it. You don't support Sanders. Maybe you don't like his policies or his ideas or maybe you just don't like him for who he is. Ok. Fine. But WTF are you thinking even trying to compare him with either Hillary or Trump in this way??? I'd really like to know.

I can't speak for sure. I think the guy was just throwing out an example to point out the ridiculousness of the guy who started this thread. He claimed nobody in any legal situation should be allowed to run. Pointing out Bernie as a candidate who had legal issues for a legitimate reason shows the blanket statement is stupid. The same way trying to make a false equivalency between civil lawsuit and a federal criminal case is stupid.

Actually the OP said "anyone under legal investigation" should suspend their campaign. Sanders isn't under and has never been under investigation for criminal misconduct.

It's also not ridiculous what Trump is being charged with. In fact it sounds like he's up against some valid legal complains and with his ongoing habit of being full of crap about everything from his Trump Steaks, to who he hand picks for his business ventures it might not work out too well for him in the end.

Also, I don't think the comment was made in the way you think it was. I am still waiting for the response from the member who made it though.

People who don't like Trump for whatever reason don't have reading comprehension or choose to ignore it

Anyone in any legal situation being banned from presidency would basically ban anyone that somebody disliked. That was the argument of the OP....... quite frankly, that's full on retarded.

I never commented on my opinion of Trumps case. I just said you where probably misreading somebody's comment not realizing you had an anti trump erection. Carry on

My reading comprehension is fine.

I fully realize I don't like Trump and it's gross you would somehow sexualize it in any way. Now that's stuck in my head.

Not everyone is being investigated on some kind of Criminal or Civil Charges though so I fail to see why you would say that it would disqualify anyone that somebody disliked. Disliking someone isn't enough to bring them up on charges or to get them investigated as if they have done something illegal.

Again, I don't think I am misreading the comment at all. Perhaps you're just all wet over Trump which is why you aren't able to understand that??

I could sue you right now for libel..... I'm not wet!

I could also sue you for a ton of other things if I was motivated to drag you into it.

Should that prevent you from getting a job in general? Ignoring the fact the job in question is president.

Now if you walked into McDonalds, I'm the manager and you told me "I'm good just sent classified emails cause I didn't want to be bothered with protocol or safety". I'm going to tell you you're not McDonalds materiel

Your not getting this there is no investigation it a a civil lawsuit a person is suing donald saying he defrauded them. Anyone can make a civil lawsuit against anyone for anything. What happened hear I'd the court decided it may have merit and will listen to the case. The person must prove he was somehow deceived and then if so damages will be awarded. Now if the school had any common sense they had him sign a document very similar to colleges. Colleges do not guarantee you will get a job or for that matter your degree will help you on any way.

To prove fraud if trump hires a good Atty will be nearly impossible. He will however rack up a huge bill for legal fees this is why companies usually settle these cases. He has obviously decided not to do that and will take it to court. Though I do hope in the future Trump will be more cautious about who he licenses his name to. This hurts the trump brand making it worth less. As for if this had anything to do with his campaign no it doesnt. Other than maybe he can make bad decisions at times. That's what gives me pause to be honest.

I have a team of experts that might say otherwise.

I highly doubt that.

It depends a lot on the type of "alleged" charges one was facing for me to agree with them having to suspend their their campaign. A criminal federal charge is obviously much worse than a civil lawsuit. However, fraud or whatever the exact legal issue Trump has going is still serious, especially with his other qualities and other "alleged" business ties. I also never said I agreed with the OP, but I did say it's not ridiculous.

None of which was the point I was trying to make anyway since my post was calling into question what the other member was trying to imply by bringing up Sanders along with Trump and Hillary. I see what you're saying in defending his comment as if it was simply pointing something out. But I still disagree that such a comparison or even an informative comment is valid in this case.

The OP has a valid reason to point out concern of having two front runners for Pres. both facing current legal problems of an unscrupulous nature. Even if his recommendation of how he would deal with it may not be a reasonable one.

I have no problem with what you just said. I'm not trying to claim he's guilty either although after hearing that he has lied about hand picking the people in charge, that they're all pros at what they teach, etc. even though he is still claiming it's a great school even now. It looks shady. So far he's been exposed in lying about his Magazine, His Steaks, His Water Bottle Co. etc. and to me when you roll it all together you can't tell me it looks good for the front runner of the leader of this nation.

Hillary looks like a criminal bag of dog poo too. Worse than Trump based on the allegations for sure. I'm not saying she's any better or anything. All I'm saying is Trump, with his history, with his current situation and his talent at being a slimy business guy always trying to sell his name on some cheap crap idea to me looks bad as our possible leader.

Dishonesty and slick con man ego just isn't what does it for me. I can't help that. As cynical as I am about everything including people and this nation it just seems like we should be able to do better. Easily do better than this. It's like we're getting ready to possibly elect a low life semi successful car salesmen to office who runs a secret casino and strip club after hours and who smells of cheap wine and cigars and pinches women on the ass while calling their kids champ or sport.

Then why is your comment in response to tadman who is complaining about Hillary and Trump facing legal issues and Sanders being a "loon"???

How is your comment about his arrest decades ago in any way pointing anything the OP is even talking about???

Are you saying that you aren't just throwing Sanders name in the mix to imply that he's also justifiably as shady as either Hillary or Trump and in reference to tadman's comment??

Its more ridiculous that Trumpeters attack people who would say anything negative about Trump.

The issue isnt the OP , the issue is Trump. If youre upset by it then maybe you should look at your candidate and his actions instead of people upset at the people pointing it out.

Thats a YOU problem, not a them problem.

They apparently learn from their Grand Pubah, deflect, misdirect, and place blame on someone else. In order to obfuscate and otherwise confuse the issue.

Im with the poster, no one who is under legal investigation , within reason and with reasonable grounds, should be running for the highest office of the land.
