Wrong. Torture has NOT been legal for decades. It took a lot of legal gymnastics for the Bush admin to make waterboarding legal. Probably because there are more white people in America? There's a reason people of another ethnicity are sometimes called "minorities"....

You take a subsection of a minority group, you're going to get small numbers. You take a subsection of the majority and you are going to have larger numbers. It's not rocket science.

I understand what he's trying to say, and I agree with that underlying premise. However I would have chosen a more nuanced characterization of the dynamic he's seeking to describe. I would have preferred he spoke about intersectionality and false equivalency, while still acknowledging that poverty can affect anyone. Rather than creating a sound byte.

You're going to have to search youtube for Trump discussing killing families of terrorists. It's been brought up any times. It's not legal-- and if he somehow made it legal it would be horrible. Imagine our soldiers being ordered to break down the doors of innocent families of terrorists and executing them. Men women and children. That's a horrible dishonor to put on the soldiers. It's just a horrible dumb idea and it's a war crime.

I'll admit that Sanders remark isn't exactly correct or accurate as we all know poor doesn't care about the color of your skin. There are also plenty of white people in the ghetto as well. Although collectively it's not the norm. The reasons for that is up for debate as are the numbers. I don't really care to discuss that mountain of crap either.

But let's get real. Saying that this is the most offensive or racist thing to come from any candidate so far is laughable. Trump holds the record for saying offensive, ignorant, racist and just plain false sh*t. He prides himself on it even. So all this crybaby BS over what Sanders said is nothing more than a desperate attempt to rail against him. Which I agree he should have worded that statement a bit different as it is just a too broad in it's scope. But with all the drama that's being expressed here by so many you'd have thought he pulled a puppy out of his pocket and ate it in front of everyone.
