The we most remember that he was a mediocre student as per his words because the college curriculums were boring.

Dare I say Bush might have been smarter than Sanders !

That would be awful. Bush was the second worst president in history. Can you imagine someone with less intelligence?

That's funny because Neo was just going on about how Sanders is living such a Privileged life with a net worth of over 500,000. Now you seem to be implying he's a loser for only being worth 100,000. So which is it???

Maybe the two of you should verify your numbers and your BS before you start trying to slander someone. Because at least one of you are obviously full of sh*t. Which one though??? You or Neo or could it be both???

I pretty much never post in political threads, but when I heard him say this my head snapped towards the screen. I'm White, grew up poor and was even homeless for a while as a young adult. I'm doing OK now, but I most certainly know what being poor is like!

He knew what he was doing I have no doubt. It's the same game everyone just keeps falling for, a political reality show where reality is manipulated behind the scenes.

BOTH Party's know that the best way to control us is to keep us at each others throats and it works. It will always work as even when people know it's being done to them they join in.

...and on and on it goes...

I apologize. I should've specifically excluded you by name in my post.
Still, you DID forgive him for making a "gaffe for that particular sentence"...and that's a nice thing.

You never know, after all Bush had enough money to buy his grades, Poor Bernie didn't.

I think Sanders would change education for the worse. After all his socialist views.

People being given things they don't earn.

I can see grades being that way.

A's just for showing up.

Like all good little socialists absolutely love doing.

Giving everyone a trophy for showing up in life. Earn ?

Earn that four letter word is a foreign concept in the 21st century.

Especially to the socialists.

What, if anything, does that have to do with what Bernie Sanders said?

That's completely and utterly out of left field.

It's called identity politics.

The entire practical aim is just that.

To keep us fighting between ourselves. Racism, and class warfare are especially effective.

Just saying that he has had the opportunity to have much more than he is worth now with a little financial acumen. I don't begrudge him his lifestyle, and $100,000 for someone his age is decent because he has that everlasting government pension.

But let's get real ... I pointed out what real financial ability would have looked like.

This is the person who is telling us he has THE economic plan to make sure we can all have FREE health care and FREE college and all sorts of new social and infrastructure spending with about $18T. What evidence is there that he actually knows we can pay for that? His personal life is no reassuring indicator.

You beat me to it. But truth isn't in huge supply in this thread.

Welcome Ketsuko
I'm so glad you're here. I'm assuming you've got links to back up your bold claims? Or just folksy stories based upon ultra-conservative aol chain mail? Sweet avatar you've got there by the way. I've recently been informed that kind of thing isn't exactly legal with the T&C's around here anymore though. Perhaps you'd like to review point 2A of the following thread:

I don't have to imagine.

I have seen it on display for the last eight years, and the current election cycle of who do we want now?

Clinton or Sanders

You brought it up, yet if I answer you I am told it has nothing to do with what Sanders said?

My point in those several posts was that Trump got his information from statistical facts, and Sanders decided to pull lies out of his rear end.

It has nothing to do with what Sanders said, it has everything to do with what YOU said - which demanded an answer.

I'm sure he'll get a very nice retirement package for 30+ years as a government bureaucrat.

Anyone dumb enough to have 65 grand in credit card debt should hate themselves.

That is just ridiculous.

How do Central Americans have anything to do with what Sander's said about white people? Why drag Trump into this at all? Why are you trying to drag other people and issues into this?

And I never "demanded" anything....

If we're going to do that anyway, Trump said he could shoot people and still win. Wow, I guess that doesn't qualify as bad at all...

Actually compare to the majority of senators, he is actually considered poor, but not by the middle class US standards

He have a pension from when he was Mayor of Burlington.

Bernie Sanders’ net worth is affected by $25,002 to $65,000 in credit card debt. Sanders lists two Visa Card debts, one from $10,001 to $15,000 and the other from $15,001 to $50,000. Sanders must keep up with his payments, because the interest rate on the first card is only 8.5% and the second is 10.25%.

Senator Sanders has an average debt of $45,001
