Then find something that would make Kansas vote for Democrats in the national election.

Find something?
Something is already there - Brownback's failed experiment. Did you not pay any attention to my posts about Kansas? It's sunk. It's broke. Schools are closing, social services are disappearing, taxes are lowered and the state is MILLIONS of dollars short of needed funding.

Oh - but prisons and prison personnel are slated to get a raise. Is that enough for ya?

How much did the tax revenues actually drop in real numbers?

Compare that to the tax reduction rates and see what the real reasons are.

When I went to donate today, I got offered 4 bumper stickers if I donated $15, so I did.

Not sure if I will donate again tomorrow, but it is a possibility.

Feel the Bern,
HRC is.

I've posted numerous sources for that info previously.

do a simple search, you can find it, too.

I just typed Kansas revenue shortfall 2016

First result:
www.kansascity.com...

ETA:
Not sure if you are asking for info - unable to look it up yourself - or encouraging me to do my homework and link to it all over again......
If people are interested, they can do an ATS search, too. Or a simple "view threads" (or posts) on my profile.

The info is all there -

sigh....fine. Here you go:
Kansas's Failed Experiment
(From The Atlantic)

The state's budget problems didn't go away after Governor Sam Brownback's reelection—they got worse. Will the lesson of tax-cuts-gone-awry give Republican candidates pause in 2016?
(that's the article subtitle)

Feel free to click, read, and learn.
Then - do a search for "Kansas failed experiment" for more. So much easier than using a card catalog and knowing the Dewey Decimal System, eh????

Nothing is showing the actual numbers.

Actual revenue income and actual spending (increases? decreases?) for let's say, 5 years.

Xuen, you have the internet. Do some research.
Provide sources for our dear readers who rely on you for your thoughts and sources; those readers who (out of sheer "principle") dismiss whatever I say and whatever I present here. You all know who you are.

I've done my part. Let's become allies to get the truth out there.

Or.....

Failing that (your follow-through), here is my meantime advice to readers who prefer not to peruse my post history or utilize ATS search:

Do a general internet search on the browser of your choice using these words:
***********

Kansas Brownback GOP failure shortfall experiment

*********** (OBVIOUSLY, omit the asterisks). Just the words in between them, they're all you need to write down, type, copy/paste, or ask a librarian to perform.
Just copy those words and right-click. Then click "search Google for" - or, just copy those words and paste them into your search bar. Or read and retain them to type in at your convenience. Or write it down, and then ask your kid to type it in. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Learn how to learn.

You are mistaken if you think religious people aren't well educated. You are also mistaken to assume liberal voters ARE educated. I can assure you many are not and just listen to TV. I know many of them.

Since the numbers seem to be hiding somewhere, I'll leave it at that since nobody can come up with the actual numbers.

All your sources are lacking the facts.

Hmmm.

I want actual revenue and spending breakdowns for 5 years.

Really?

I doubt it.

ETA: omg, you've got me surfing. This is about as hard as replacing a roll of toilet paper, xuen.........
d3n8a8pro7vhmx.cloudfront.net...

Freaking use your head and the internet. Any numbers I present will be pooh-poohed by you and your sort......we all know that.

The real reasons are someone actually tried conservative rhetoric, gave all the tax revenue to the rich people and disturbed the tax revenue cycle so bad the state has the worst economic crisis in the states history.

Doing any research for you would be a waste of time as we all know you are diehard neocon.

The fact remains that Michigan, Louisiana and Kansas are all complete fiscal disasters thanks to the application of "conservatism", AKA tax cuts for wealthy people and dissipation of public works and services.

All I can really say to you, Metallicus, is that I'm delighted to see in your earlier thread that you'd go Dem if not for the 2nd. What you fail to understand is that

NO ONE IS GOING TO TAKE AWAY YOUR GUNS.

Absorb that, and then we can talk further. Your personal, political, line in the sand "wall" needs to be deconstructed and repaired. There is no conspiracy to "gun-grab." Once you accept that, you'll feel just fine.

Cheers, man!!

Not really showing the actual details year by year for 5 years.

The spending breakdown is needed.

And maybe the accounting methods that may have been adjusted.

Perhaps the bond issues too.

Don't they have actual ledgers online?

Ask your preferred internet browser search application. If you find nothing, then file a FOIA inquiry.

Done with the hand-holding. *snatches hand away* Frustration indeed.
Thanks for playing. (Not)

I agree... Metallicus, I wouldn't stand for any one to take away your guns man. Vote for your economic interests and watch your life get better. Don't vote for the haters who think big business is the most important function of government.

But it's strange we can't find a full comparison ledger anywhere.

Lot of states like that.

Hmmm.
