One purpose of worship as some people define it, is to get a touch from God, to get the emotions at a peak, they feel close to God when they are in a situation that stimulates their emotions.

The connection is solid, because the emotional high has been established as they find themselves on an endless quest for emotional satisfaction, because they relate their closeness to God upon feeling, they are either on fire or the fire’s gone out.

Paul told us that as time progresses forward in this age of grace, people will become more and more about satisfying their emotional desires, they will be seeking after and devoting themselves to a God they can feel. Justification and Sanctification are not based upon feelings at all, they have nothing to do with feelings or emotions, they are not based on sensation in any sense.

When we trusted Christ as our Savior, something happened that took place outside the realm of our sensation, outside the realm of our feeling. This is commonly taught in the hallways of religion, that a person must make a decision to serve, in order to get God to make the decision to save.

Some would say to repent, means to have Godly sorrow, others would say that to repent, means to turn around and go the other direction, sin no more. Repent simply means, a change of mind, a change of thinking, Israel was continually being called upon to repent, to change their thinking, they were trusting in themselves.

God did not give Israel a law they could keep, he gave them a law impossible for those with a the moral choice of good and bad to obey perfectly, in order to teach them their need of a Savior. We certainly can make some choices in our lives, due to who God’s made us to be, by joining us to his son.

Yeah I thought for those who do not know them it would be good for them to look them up themselves.

We are good for God because we want God to bless us, and are we not taught that if we slide back into a life of sin, we have lost our fellowship with God. Certainly if you lose your fellowship, you lose your blessings.

Well, our blessings are not based on our performance in any way, shape, or form. Our blessings are based on Christ’s performance, because we are members of his flesh. How many blessings do we have according to the apostle Paul? All blessings in Heaven, the place of our citizenship.

Abraham was given the picture of the setting aside of his own flesh, in that Abraham had already placed his dependence entirely upon God. God counted Abraham to be righteous for doing so. God counted Abraham to be righteous solely on the basis of Abraham’s belief in what God told him, God would do.

Stupidity believes that the Jew have a different gospel than non-Jews. God didn't set the rules to be different based on alleged ancestry. Jews don't exist to follow Christian rules, they have their own religion with the Talmud and have or want nothing to do with Christianity.

Messianic Jews aren't under Jewish law because they have the New Testament like every other Christian church with the same teachings and same gospel. They are the same as any other Christian.

The premise of this thread is essentially that God discriminates based on ancestry. Different rules for different races. God is a racist?

Whoever thinks this two gospel stupidity is a real thing, I disagree because you are wrong theologically. Your just plain wrong all around and are racist. What are the rules for Indians? How about Arabs? How about Syrians who are actually from the lost ten tribes, and are now Christians. What are the rules for them?

You need help understanding how God works. This is the stupidest concept ever. Ever.

Jesus Christ’s death is historical fact, but what does his death by itself have to with you? In order to be saved, a person must believe that Christ’s death accomplished something on that person’s behalf, where that person’s sin debt is concerned.

To believe in Christ’s death and nothing more would be profitless belief, unless Christ died for your sin debt, Christ’s death would not be good news for you at all. It is now a son issue, not a sin issue, will people accept or reject the payment Christ made for their redemption?

It is not an outward demonstration of an inward manifestation, as some would have us believe. When we trusted Jesus Christ as Savior, something happened that took place outside the realm of our sensation, outside the realm of our feeling. Paul wants us to recognize that Justification and Sanctification are not based upon feelings at all, we walk by faith, not by sight.

Are we looking forward to the next event on Israel’s prophetic calendar-Christ coming to establish Israel’s promised earthly kingdom on the earth? Or, are we looking forward to the next secret event-Christ’s coming in the air to catch the Body of Christ up off of this planet?

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven, why is that a significant part of this prayer for the Israelites? Because the Israelites have an earthly hope, they were promised the earth forever! Paul tells us that our citizenship is in heaven, but the Israelites will be praying that God’s will to be carried out on the earth to the same degree that it will already be being carried out in heavenly realm.

The anti-Christ will be putting Israelites to death for their faith, and do you know what they will be praying at that time? Thy kingdom come! The promised earthly kingdom to be set up right here on planet earth, because the only hope of deliverance for the believing Israelite at that time, will be the coming of the King and the setting up of the earthly kingdom.

Yahweh was not identified with nature, Yahweh transcended nature; and Yahweh wasn’t known through nature or natural phenomena. Yahweh was known through history, events and a particular relationship with a man, which Yahweh formed from the dust of the earth. Yahweh blew into his nostrils the breath of life; so the life force is holy, and the life force is in the blood; that which is holy is separate, what is holy is what is in Yahweh’s realm; the blood is the life, and that belongs to Yahweh.

Adam and Eve had access to this tree up to that point, as long as their will conformed to the will of Yahweh, there was no danger to their going on eternally, being immortal. Once they discovered their moral freedom, once they discovered that they could thwart Yahweh and work evil in the world, and abuse and corrupt all that Yahweh had created, then Yahweh could not afford to allow them access to the tree of life. That would be tantamount to creating divine enemies, immortal enemies. So Yahweh must maintain the upper hand in his struggle with these humans who have learned to defy him. And Yahweh maintains the upper hand in this, the fact that humans eventually must die. Yahweh stations the cherubim and the fiery ever-turning sword to guard the way back to the tree of life, once Adam and Eve were banished from the garden. The tree of life is now inaccessible; no humans have access to immortality, and the pursuit of immortality is futile. So it might be then that Yahweh really spoke the truth after all, the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and bad did bring death to the human race.

This is who Jesus Christ himself is. Let’s start with the one thing that will define who God really is? What is eternal life? John 5:26b…For as the Father HAS LIFE IN HIMSELF; so has he given to the son TO HAVE LIFE IN HIMSELF. The life Jesus referred to is eternal or everlasting life.

By his declaration and definition, he declared that he himself did not have eternal life at the time he was walking the earth or he was a complete liar! If you truly believe that the Bible is the Word of God, then you have to believe that Jesus Christ spoke the truth. If so, from his own mouth, he declared that only God had eternal life. Christ himself only had the promise of eternal life!

Jesus was explaining that he was given the authority to give the promise of this eternal life to whomever he wished. He was not the source of that eternal life, but he was the only way to obtain the life from God himself. Jesus did not have life in himself, so he could not be the source of that life; however, that being said, he was given the authority to give the promise to whomever he wished. He was not the source, but he was the only way to obtain the life from God himself. This is not semantics, the scriptures make it quite plain to anyone who reads it.

The water of life seems to do when paradise on earth is restored.
