Why Hillary Clinton is running for President

Most of us are probably old enough to remember the Presidency of Bill Clinton
- Only the second President in the history of the United States to be impeached.
Though the impeachment trial in the Senate was won by Bill and he was still allowed
to remain in office - It was one of the most disgraceful events in the history of
the US Presidency.

And as I watch his wife Hillary running for the Presidency - following in her husband's
footsteps of scandal, and possibly facing criminal indictment for a gross disregard of
security protocol by using a private email server for government business, I have to ask
myself why? Why is this woman trying to become the President?

I have some answers. She wants to be the first female President of the United States
- an achievement worthy of anyone's ego - and of course any President must in some ways
be an egotist. And this country would probably fare no worse with a woman as President
- as long as it is not Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton, who some believe was the ruling half in the political marriage that ruled the US under Bill Clinton. An era in American History ruled by scandal - Scandals where not only was the President impeached after the sordid details of a sex scandal became public knowledge - but even worse where American security was breached to the advantage of the communist regime in China
- Of course the Chinese really are our allies aren't they? With a tremendous amount of
American debt now owned by China, and the Chinese buying up American resources, some think otherwise. But if nothing else Hillary represents the 'New World Order', an order to be ruled by a Socialist corporate monopoly [just like China], so why should we worry?
In fact the only differences, besides sex and age, between her supposed rival for the
Demoratic nomination, is that Bernie Sanders is a left wing socialist and Hillary Clinton
is a right wing socialist. The fact that the Nazis of WWII fame were considered to be right wing socialists is probably only coincidence.

And while we are talking about the Nazis, another reason that Hillary wants to be President is, like the Nazis, to eliminate the private ownership of guns for American citizens - the Nazis wanted to make the people safe - And so will Hillary by eliminating
the Second Amendment and the right of the citizens of the United States to defend themselves - But why would you need to defend yourself while your country is part of the New World Order? - in an emegency you can always dial 911 - Or better still call tha UN and tell them you used to ba an American - and if they hang-up you could always lodge a complaint - If you are still alive and breathing.

So you see people, in Hillary Clinton we have a candidate that represents the world of
today - A today where women, minorities, third world countries, and the sexually different
have equal, if not more, rights than the old fashioned Americans who formed this nation,
who did indeed believe in legal equality - but not at the expense of taking away the
basic rtghts we as Americans are born with - including the right to free speech, free
assembly, and the 'right to bear arms' to protect ourselves from both external and internal threats.

So do you wonder why I would trust an egotistical, often foul mouthed candidate over that
sweet little lady egotist giving the world the equality of world socialism

I don't understand how Sander is not getting the DNC nomination , unless its all rigged. The latter is the only logical answer.

Surely the majority of democrats aren't that stupid?, Surely the majority of Democrats don't want a known liar along with her impeached husband and who is under criminal investigation to best represent them?

I guess i have to defend Hillary's view on the super predator gang violence..it was not a racist statement it was to put a finer point on the need to address gang violence which was at an unusually high uptick. You violence with respect to gangs was through the roof and due to the reckless behavior of kids shooting each other and civilians they neede to put a good deal of emphasis on the situation.

Boston in the 90's was a war zone and at times rival gang members would show up at funerals to create more havoc..it was bad and i respect her summarization of the youth back then..

I think I'm pretty balanced and that particular quote deserves more exploration..

In the 90s super predator was a racist term for Black/Latino youths.

Also Slick Willy and his wife supports incarcerating more African Americans by launching attacks against them under the guise of fighting the "War on Drugs."

In addition, she contributed to the rise of the Police State by militarizing the Police.

I agree with a lot of things you posted. I do remember the Bill Clinton presidency, and every time I saw them together I always had this weird thought in my mind, that she's the one wearing the pants in that relationship.
I believe she is indeed power hungry, and wants nothing more than to win the title of First Female American President. I for not one second think that she cares about the American people.

I remember reading a few months back about how security hated working for her,because she wasn't treating them nicely. If I had security that would risk their lives for me, I'd give them all the respect they deserve.

It wasn't the only disgraceful event in U.S. presidential history. Nixon resigning the presidency under the threat of impeachment, and him declaring on national TV "he was not a crook." was a considerable disgrace.

Just because the opposite party engages in witch hunts to find anything they can to degrade a sitting president or call for impeachment, doesn't mean there wasn't past presidents who rightfully deserved impeachments and criminal proceedings. Some did much more harm to the U.S. and caused un-needed deaths to young men and women serving in our military, than someone who had an extramarital affair on the job and didn't put human lives in danger. If that's a disgrace, John F. Kennedy should also be put high on the impeachable list!

However, what is disgraceful is having a president who lied about a country's involvement in 9/11, lied about their possession of WMD's, sanctioned torture, invaded a sovereign country which resulted in over 5,000 American military deaths, and countless innocent Iraqi lives. He destabilized the middle east, signed the Patriot Act taking away many rights protected under our constitution, and classified information related to Saudi Arabia's financing of the worst attack on American territory. It's extremely DISGRACEFUL that this president and his cronies were never held accountable, impeached and brought up on war crimes!

There were other scandals with other presidents that have gotten away with impeachment. Regan's Iran-Contra Affair and the George H.W. Bush Savings and Loan Scandal. Obama's Benghazi, IRS and the "Fast and Furious" scheme.

I'm pretty sure he was booed for being disruptive. Bill tried to address him but be fair, the guy never asked a question. He started in on blaming Hillary for benghazi.
