Stocking up on supplies if the world is getting destroyed is like trying to go online to figure out why the internet isn't working.

About the only thing I would buy would be more booze.

If I'm going to get blown up, I might as well be grinning when it's happening.

I know this thread is being treated as a light hearted one which is fine
but seriously links to the express should be banned they are idiots
and in the UK are a hard copy version of before its news
if there is a bit of doom porn they are printing it they dont
give a toss how true or not it may be.
Utter tripe.

With all due respect, what good is God's word, if there is no one left to hear it?

And i better have as much Joan Jett as i can

Serias though i NEVER worry about incoming from outer space,it would be like worrying about whether you're going to have a heart attack or stroke later in the day, every time you wake up. Some things are just Out of human control, and in the case of an ELE,well the human race had a good run, plus seeing energy cannot be destroyed, and we are souls and immortal in these messy pesky flesh suits,it really is not something to fear. Except for those who Seriously hate change i guess

Your son will have an interesting birthday not least because if he's little those things always affect their behavior a bit. At least mine seems to bounce off walls with the phase of the moon and changes in the atmospheric pressures.

Sorry, I still wince over double talk...I'm never sure if being inquisitive is a sign of extreme naivety or the failure to get a joke.

I came upon this yesterday, and I found it most interesting. This is a spontaneous attempt at trying to accomplish the impossible, while hoping I don't break any rules and get myself banned.

Edit again out of tenacious determination:

The link that looks right gets close to the video.

It's there titled "Huge Quake Proves The Time is NOW"

(Not my title, overlook the word proof and the dramatic voice, if that will allow a peak at it)

Well now, the preview gave me a thumbs down. Can someone help me out here?

edit on 5-3-2016 by ClownFish because: I tried again to get it right but it's looking "wronger and wronger!"

His son will have an interesting birthday because he's his son. Lucky boy.

(Sorry for the tiny thread drift)

Untrue. Meteors within last 4 months have exploded over atlantic ocean, exploded over Scotland, and neither of those were known. Then there is Chellabinsk, Russia that had damaging results.

There are many known happeni gs that are noteworthy.

Actually, the opposite of a full Moon, since it's a solar eclipse. You don't get an eclipse with a full Moon.

But lunar perigee ("supermoon") occurs on the 10th, and it's not all that super.

NASA has almost zero data on this asteroid, from what I gather.
The fact their calculations varies greatly, uncertainty in distance, proves the point.
I'm going with a hit.

Twice the energy that of Chelyabinsk meteorite makes once in a liftime epic fireworks.
I'm a doom-porner, am I bad?

Still waiting for any fulfilments...examples.

Recently I ran across a prophecy which is claimed to be from a Nun named Hildegarde who lived in the 12th century. The prophecy caught my attention because it talks about a comet and great destruction to the great nation in the ocean. Here is the pertinent info from this prophecy that I would like to bring to your attention.

"Before the Comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scoured with want and famine. The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent by an earthquake, storm and tidal waves will be devastated. It will be divided, and in great part submerged. That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea, and lose its colonies in the east through a Tiger and a Lion.

The Comet by its tremendous pressure, will force much out of the ocean and flood many countries, causing much want and many plagues. [After the] great Comet, the great nation will be devastated by earthquakes, storms, and great waves of water, causing much want and plagues. The ocean will also flood many other countries, so that all coastal cities will live in fear, with many destroyed. All sea coast cities will be fearful and many of them will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will be killed and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease.
www.worldprophecies.net...

After the sign of the Hopi Indians (Blue star),

Mabus will soon die, then will come,
A horrible undoing of people and animals,
At once one will see vengeance,
One hundred hands [powers], thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.

Quatrain 2.46
After great human misery a greater approaches,
The great motor of the centuries renewed:
Rain, blood, milk, famine, weapon, and pestilence,
In the sky fire seen, dragging long sparks.

The bitterness produced by the Wormwood Star upon a third of the Earth's potable waters could be the Biblical prediction of "acid rain" from the "heat shock" of a large comet or asteroid's impact with Earth. - See more at: www.messianic-literary.com...

Yes I understand what you are saying, but the motion of the moon is not a stranger to astronomers, so just because it is a supermoon, that doesn't meant it hasn't been calculated as such, if you know what I mean.

supermoon means nothing will happen here on earth, as well as an eclipse having any effect on earth (besides a tiny sliver shadow going acrossed it)

Nothing?
Literally nothing? That would be bad.
