Everyone should spend time in Cape Breton, it's magical. That being said, Cape Breton Island, part of Nova Scotia, has the economy of a potato.

You guys can move up here anytime, there jobs, room to expand, and one only needs to have lived in canada for 3 months to be eligible for healthcare

Oh no, now you've done it... you've opened the flood gates.

Next thing you know, the Canadian MSM will be consumed with reports of gun-toting Americans crossing the border, purely for the purpose of taking advantage of innocent young Canadian women and getting free healthcare.

Check your eligibility to become an immigrant here: Immigration to Canada

The rate of gun ownership in the US and Canada is actually vastly different.

Canada, 31 guns per 100 residents.

USA, 113 guns per 100 residents.

I must live in a area that's the exception and not the rule. Every body hunts here so it's really common to have an assortment of rifles and shotguns for different game and what not.

Your numbers I am sure accurately reflect Canada as a whole however.

Lol. A hole.

We're a gun owning household, as well. A lot of our family and friends have guns for hunting too. I'm sure most city dwellers don't keep a rifle in the closet for offing squirrels in the park though. I'm guessing that's the difference.

Are they overlooking the fact that Hillary may also be the cause for the rise and not just trump?

I like how they conveniently only list Bush and Republicans on the chart.

I mentioned Hillary And Trump in my Op.

It's certainly a factor in my mind.

I agree it's an election year where there are no clear winners. Only clear losers...

Yeah, I wasn't talking about you specifically , more about the news source. Hence I used "They" : "Are they overlooking the fact "

How they conveniently only put up Bush and Trumps name in the graph to show the rise of the google trend.

Why are they all heading north?
Mexico has some great weather.

Seriously!

What sane person would actually choose to move to a place where it snows? What a horrible existence.

If they go south they get nice weather and their US dollars would go so much further.

Though to be fair, they probably think they can just rock up into Canada and get themselves some free healthcare... fairly

sure they have to gain full pledged Canadian citizenship for that though.

Its probably not as easy to get the benefits of living in an actual modern day civilized society as some Americans would assume, lol...

Based on maps and general knowledge it seems that the further south and the warmer you get the level of ignorance stupidity and primitiveness rises so that would be bad advise to go south, i can see that you are a proud example of that theory.

Well, if you say so.

But I live deep down in the southern hemisphere, earn $37.50 an hour loading trucks and enjoy the sort of quality of life that lower class Americans could only dream of... if you consider that Ignorant & primitive, then that's just fine by me.

Trust me, I'll live... even with your opinion of my lack of mental capacity.
