Super Tuesday Results = Moving to Canada

Well it looks like Hillary and Trump have Americans worried enough to bite the bullet and seek refuge in Canada( Or at least inquire how to do so)

Looks like google searches on how a person might be able to move to Canada spiked severely after Super Tuesday

I know it's a lot colder up here but I for one will welcome the Americans because it means more people to group with for warmth! We can always build more igloo's to accommodate more people and space isn't an issue up here.

I think it is too balmy for me in Canada. I suppose if I stay away from the Oceans it gets cold.

Mexico has some great weather.

I only ever knew one person who ever made good on their threat to move to Canada - liberal former friend of my husband's. He made the threat shortly after W's second election. Didn't actually move until after having vote for Obama's re-election.

Seems his real estate business never recovered from 2008. He blames that completely on Bush.

Now he lives in Canada and gloats about "free" health care while simultaneously complaining about how expensive everything is. We simply remind him that his health care isn't actually free when he does this.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out! It's good if some of these folks actually follow up on their threat to leave. It's time they messed up another country for a change. I can't believe Canada would be terribly welcoming to a bunch of whiny American ex-pats, but from THIS end, it's all good!

Now now, messing up the country was a collaborative effort. Try to be more inclusive!

We'll do what we can to fix them... but beware that when they return with fresh eyes and thicker skin to survive the cold winter, they may start to fix things down South. Take heart that that, too, will be a collaborative effort.

I like beer, and I could get used to wearing a toque, but I'm a typical American which means I'll have to invade a foreign country from time to time and take their oil and ruin their infrastructure.

What sane person would actually choose to move to a place where it snows? What a horrible existence.

If they go south they get nice weather and their US dollars would go so much further.

Though to be fair, they probably think they can just rock up into Canada and get themselves some free healthcare... fairly sure they have to gain full pledged Canadian citizenship for that though.

Its probably not as easy to get the benefits of living in an actual modern day civilized society as some Americans would assume, lol...
