I know everytime a KKK member takes off their sheet you will find a Prius driving, Obama loving, Gay Marriage supporting
progressive hippie!

Sure do especially when they are crying about rich people, bankers, guns, monsanto's, and the Koch brothers.

Whodda thunk it ?

The KKK never went out of style for the Democrats.

If you are assigning blame to Trump for this, then you have to assign blame for the riots in Furgison and Baltimore to Obama.

If you will do that, we can discuss this all day long.

If you won't, this thread isn't worth the electricity that was used to create it.

I leave it up to you.

I've never heard any former US presidential candidate demonize minorities nor have i ever heard them encouraging their voters to knock down their political opponents. Many foreign journalists who have attended Trump rallies have said that the atmosphere reminded them of something that was going on in Germany back in the 30s, and apparently they weren't lying.

Am I the only one here, who thinks these people have beyond lost ALL of their marbles with the comparisons to Germany in the early 1930's.

I hear this incredible garbage even up here in Canada.

I can smell the fear and lunacy of those who have no idea how to react to new scenarios or problems.

My understanding is many independents in Massachusetts, and in other states that do not require a party affiliation to switch sides of the aisle voted for Trump to make sure he's the candidate who goes against Clinton, to ensure her win. I'm not picking sides since I think they're both disgusting, but the voters are playing political tricks too.

As for the video, do we have the full story yet? Or something close.

Duke quit the KKK 40 years ago and does not support them or represent them. He has criticized the KKK since.

Also like Byrd, Duke disavowed being a white supremicist and rejects that label.

Jesus...no...Duke left the Klan and formed the National Association for the Advancement of White People (NAAWP), a white nationalist organization.

Byrd left the Klan and apologized, made amends and condemned intolerance and hate and fought for equality and civil rights...

Wow! NAAWP?

Sounds like NAACP.

BTW Clinton voting was lower in the south than Trump and the Republicans.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -About 363,000 voters have given Hillary Clinton a dominating win in South Carolina's Democratic presidential primary.

Clinton got about 74 percent of Saturday's vote with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders getting 26 percent.

The turnout didn't set a record. In 2008, about 530,000 voters went to the polls for the Democratic primary, and Clinton got only 27 percent of the vote against Barack Obama.

Last week, in the six-way South Carolina GOP presidential primary, more than 740,000 voters cast ballots, which did set a record for turnout.

wach.com...

Democrats Might Have a 2016 Turnout Problem

1 million more people have voted in Republican primaries than Democratic ones

We’ve been tracking the discrepancy between turnout in the Democratic and Republican primaries and caucuses since Iowa — the night it became very clear that people coming out to vote for Republicans were turning out much more heavily.

On Super Tuesday, that trend continued, for the most part. In the Nevada caucuses, more Democrats came out this year, as they did in the Massachusetts and Vermont primaries. Otherwise, Republican turnout was larger — often much larger. In fact, in the 10 states shown below, 1.1 million more Republicans have voted than Democrats.

I find the blind support of Trump on this site to be extremely worrisome. This is a place where denying ignorance is supposed to be at the heart of discussions, but many members ignore that motto for some reason.

Yes, the actions of Trump's supporters do reflect on Trump himself because he's not condemning the actions, if anything he is promoting them with comments like "making them leave on a stretcher" and so forth. People think Obama raised racial tensions? He's nothing compared to Trump. White supremacists, Islamaphobes, and Mexican-phobes supporting him proves that he is a racially polarizing candidate, and I'm not too sure that's not his entire purpose in this election cycle, to raise racial tension.

Trump is not going to make America great again any more than Obama brought hope and change. Same song, different tune, and people fall for it every single time. Every. Single. Time.

Except you are missing something.

The majority of people, are aware that things WILL get stirred the hell up, while they will do nothing but the slow agonizing descent to more of the same that has gone on for, forever.

I can tell you this, if Trump wins, it will be the last and final time , that the public fall for anything, cause if he cannot change things, then NOONE CAN.

I find it comical that you do not see this as a positive move all around.

Are you so powerless that you fear this man ?

Do you want us to beg God for help ??

It is time to let this happen, and be GLAD that this candidate is here entertaining us....we would die of boredom already if otherwise.

Look at this as a "LAST CHANCE"....and make yourself the best possible.

I can see for sure, I like Trump better than anyone who has been in that office in my lifetime, he makes me laugh, he makes the programmed masses uncomfortable and they think he is an idiot all the while they worship people who WANNABE like Trump, it is time to steer things in a new direction.

And if CLINTON wins, WW3 will be far more confusing than the one with the DON at the helm.

a reply to: marg6043 I would implore you to see if in those states Democrats can switch over to become Republican voters, and what percentage of independent voters exist in those states. It has been established that either Hillary or Bernie can beat Trump, and it is well known that Democrats are gaming the system for a Trump win for just that reason.

ETA: Gary Johnson is looking better everyday.

Exactly

We all know the KKK are anti gun, pro gay marriage, big government loving librals

All those KKK attacks on those precious bankers, corporations and Kochs.

We need to call in the gun loving rednecks to kill off the KKK once in for all.

To tell you the truth, none of the analyst were giving Trump a chance, taken into consideration the make over of voters in the south, then it was records broken of voters in many states.

I was very much beyond words with the numbers.

Who's the party that nominated the first African American for the presidency?

Who's the party that currently attracts white supremacists to their rallies?

They nominated him ONLY because he is (50% black), but they don't tell you how he hates his own mother because she was white. They don't tell you who the TRUE racist is, (Obama).
They did it to make a political statement because of guilt, without any regard to what they were actually going to get. A Mafia affiliated president with many Marxist and Communist friends and mentors.

What they also didn't tell you later by their silence, was that they support a man who pretended to despise every Bush policy, but who took the baton toss from Bush, and doubled down on every Bush policy instead.

ENTER Bush number 3!
So in all truthfulness, the democrat party is and has continued to be BUSH SUPPORTERS, while blaming him for everything wrong, while doing everything exactly the same except MORE OF IT that Bush did!

What have you got to say for these facts?

He even dissed his grandma!

You know, how she looks at black people?

Funny stuff coming from a guy who was brought up whiter than me.

He is popular cause people are sick of the spin and grandstanding put on by politicians. They act holier than thou but they are scumbags who sell out us little guys for greed and power.

I'm not assigning blame to trump. Yet. I dont know enough about the incident. But i have a question.

Do you not see a problem if a presidential candidate attracts racists and white supremists as supporters,? Does that not ring alarm bells in your head? And do you honestly believe that they are not supporting him because of his disgusting promises to stop Mexicans coming in and kicking all muslims out?

In you brain, there is no correlation?

I'm sure you like the guy (that's the only reason you would defend him since everyone else can see he's scum) because he promises to "make America great again"..but if you can't see the above, you really have been Trumped.

He's leading in the polls and winning pretty much every state so far. How is that a sign that he makes the programmed masses uncomfortable? If that were the case he would be nowhere near the lead, but as we have it he has the most support out of any other candidate.

The MSM is playing a game of reverse psychology, hating on Trump knowing that it will drive his numbers up. Fox News, who pretty much championed the non-PC movement, has been crapping on Trump for a while now and he's one of the faces of the non-PC movement. They (the media) know that people trust the media less than ever before which is why they're tricking people into thinking Trump is anti-establishment, because they know that will move him up in the polls and it has worked flawlessly to this point.

He's not anti-establishment, he's the most "established" candidate I've probably ever seen. He's the face of everything that is wrong with American politics right now, a rich egomaniac who has bought people in the past to do his bidding. He's fooling people with his snake oil. But I know people saying stuff like this will make his supporters even more devoted to him which is why I believe all hope is lost. When things get worse they will make excuses for him because admitting you were wrong takes a little humility, something Trump supporters seem to be lacking.

You're right though, this is probably the last time we will be fooled because once Trump is in office there probably won't be another time afterward. He's the nail in the coffin that has become America in my opinion.

I guess only liberals are allowed to call for more "muscle" to remove unwanted parties.

Melissa Click got 0 support from anyone for her BS. There were no Click apologists making false comparisons in support of her. Several editorials in the "liberal MSM" roundly denounced her. You think people like me are just picking on Trump? From my post in a thread about the incident:

Personally, I really hope they can her. Not only did her actions fly in the face of what a person in her position SHOULD stand for, she was also escalating the situation and inciting what could very well have turned into a physical altercation.

As a progressive liberal, I find scenes like this and the recent meltdown of whiny infantile Yale students deeply disturbing and I wonder how much of it can be attributed to the likes of Ms. Click who have taken legitimate ideals of tolerance and equality and contorted them into perverse mockeries of social justice. In their zeal to affirm their own moral superiority to themselves and to demonstrate it to their peers by creating ever more unpragmatic and self-defeating tactics, opinions, jargon, etc, they've completely lost touch with what 'the struggle' is about.

Barking commands? Shouting for students to use force to deny another student his civil liberty? That's not progress. Those aren't the words or actions of anyone truly concerned with positive change in society — that's a would-be despot exercising her tiny bit of authority in an attempt to oppress others.

Not only is your would be comparison irrelevant but the alleged hypocrisy you think you're exposing doesn't even exist.

So tell me this: why aren't you just as upset with what is going on at Trump rallies where a man who wants to be President of the United States is encouraging violence against disruptive people as you are about some halfwit mass media professor?

Where is the real hypocrisy?

Because they're human beings with family and friends just like you, they were born on this planet like any other person and have a right to a comfortable life like anyone else who lives on this god-forsaken planet.

How selfish can you possibly be? You're so self-centered it's sad. You obviously lack empathy if you believe that anyone outside of an arbitrary border can "get #ed" and be ok with it. Show some compassion for your fellow human beings.
