Have you ever gotten a letter in the mail saying that you've been selected for a Nielson survey? Did that letter say to expect a large blue envelope? Well, you should open that envelope! Don't just throw it away! You'd be throwing away $2.00! Open that envelope and claim your pop money for the day! I don't even have TV! Do I feel bad for taking the $2.00 and not doing the survey? Nope.

You should donate the money to an organization that supports reading books.

I thought I've donated enough by not having cable TV... Or satellite!

That doesn't help your local public library.

I had friends that worked at Nielsen in Oldsmar FL. They told me all of the right things to say when called upon. I manage to get a crisp new $50 bill every time I participate in their TV or radio surveys. Sometimes they give a $10 bonus for each survey returned early. If you are reliable they will use you more often.

ETA: The trick is to "inflate" the size of your household. They must think I live with the Waltons.
