Yes it has, hasn't it?

McClendon was not a nice guy, and has a history of shady business dealings.

Chances are high he knew much about certain people and once he was under the gun was erased before he could spill any info on said persons.

Just last month, the Motley Fool did a piece on McClendon and his newest venture in Argentina.

The same day McClendon died, this happened, and if you look further into what else has happened in Argentina, you start to conceive the notion that something might be going on.
