I've never had that issue. I've never had an issue with overbearing or too many ads whatsoever.

Were you logged in?

Yes and no.

It didn't seem to matter on my Galaxy Tab 7 with andriod. The adds were overbearing. To a point I stopped visiting this website when using a tablet. I wish I could have recorded it for the record. But I am not saying this in spite of anything. Just stating a fact. It was a horrible ordeal using ATS on my tablet because of the adds. A horrible horrible horrible ordeal.

Also why does the main page reload every few seconds. That is also annoying.

I get that with the current state of the world, and an easy platform to vent their frustrations, people are rather agitated, cynical and pessimistic, but really, some of you are taking this complaining, age of entitlement and being suspicious of the motives of others to a whole new level.

Cool was it a Galaxy Tab 7? On Android. Just curious. Is it possible, that some vicious code was downloaded from their adds like a lot of other people have been saying? Thanks for your insight, you sound like you have an in depth knowledge of this issue.

And individual developers too. Development costs for building an app on the MaidSafe network would be lower than via today’s hosted model — being as a startup wouldn’t need to pay for any hosting costs. AWS, Rackspace — not required! There’s also no upfront fee required for the privilege of developing on this network (it’s no Apple App Store). And the MaidSafe API is free.

techcrunch.com...

ATS doesn't need servers.

Granted, a transition period would occur if this route were chosen but the tech is in testnet (It's coded in Rust!)

And whatever happened to that swear every 5 seconds guy who would post videos? He seems to have disappeared. What was his name...Joe I think it was, had long hair and a big blonde beard, kinda like a viking.

My phone is a Galaxy S4 Android and the tablet is iPad 2. The tablet I use in bed and the phone when out and about so I visit ATS quite regularly on both. I always log in though, but even the times I haven't (which is rare admittedly) I haven't had any issues.

My thought is that these people are having issues related to ads they have experienced on other sites where security isn't top priority and blaming ATS for it because they don't want to admit they visit unsavoury websites.

No. I know this tablet was not used to view any porno sites. To think otherwise would mean my kids have been, and I don't doubt them.

The blink was not necessary.

I wasn't specifically referring to porn sites mate. "Unsavoury" covers pirate sites, streaming sites etc etc.

No need to get so defensive.

Cool, I won't get defensive. But what galaxy you had sounds like a phone. Not a tablet. I don't know what the difference is. But I thought it was interesting, why it behaved so differently than my computer would.

I realize people keep claiming it isn't ATS, but it only happened on ATS website.

ATS is an 800,000 UNIQUE visitors website!

According to Google Analytics, we're almost double that at 1.4 million monthly uniques. GA is a reliable standard in traffic analysis.

I got into a bit more detail in this post.

Bottom line, 100+ content hits in less than 5 seconds, 70% of which (in that snapshot) were non-human indexing agents.

If bots are such an issue, why don't you tell them to calm down, use Crawl-delay, Crawl Rate(google)?

Not much difference. The operating system is pretty much the same just with a bigger screen.

Timed delay perhaps, or triggered by an action that seems like it is related to ATS but it actually something in the browser? There could be many ways. I'd download and run an antivirus scanner on your tablet for starters.

Ok. Will try and do a rescan. I do have some anti-virus installed, maybe it isn't the best. What if the virus was downloaded, like people were saying, from ATS ads? Wouldn't that be ironic. LOL.

Yeah, that's what it was called. I just got used to them being the first post on ATS main page every time they came out with a video and a week after. I guess that has changed. And I haven't noticed where they get posted now.

I just checked their Youtube page, and the last post was two months ago, a video I've already seen.

And before they moved to New York and were quiet for a month, they made a note of it on their previous video.

So why did they all the sudden go quiet with no further notice?

No more NLBS?

It's funny how many people talk with platinum tongue, heads held high and chest bulging as if dragon ran through your veins. If ATS was to ever go offline, I guarantee eyes will be watery, thoughts of people will be missed and after you go to other sites, you will most definitely understand why, the way of life, is 'ATS for you'.

So ,take off your brave mask and stop sticking your chest out and take the sock out your trousers and do as your told and stop blocking the bloody ads.

Yeah, that's the spirit.

DO AS YOU ARE TOLD should be the new official slogan of ATS.

You're right, I don't even remember how I ended up on his site but I watched them from there so I didn't notice the date on them, I thought they were fairly recent
