Who said he does not attract racists and white supremacists? No one. To say otherwise is a lie.

I'm starting to think the dishonesty here is pathological. I might have to suggest treatment. Seek a doctor.

Japan has a much more Draconian policy and we're doing friggin' great.

No you're not - your population is in decline. - www.japantimes.co.jp...

There's a good chance you live there because you're either married or offer them a chance to find mates for their men.

The migrants who DO come here (I count myself among them) assimilate well, learn the language and culture and strive to uphold Japanese ideals because they know how hard it was to get in.

Are you saying those that come to the united states don't? I'll let the mass amount of illegal Irish folk that came that they're doing a horrible job..or are you meaning to be more specific?

Unchecked immigration is only BAD.

Yes - but the solution isn't fear.

For one, illegal immigration spits in the face of the people who filled out the forms, waited on the lists, learned the language, worked HARD to assimilate and be accepted.

Many of those people paid a "TAX" to extradite their "paperwork" - I feel that spits more in the face of this process you adhere to that you believe works.

Trump ran away with the Hispanic vote in Nevada for exactly this reason. I'm all for legal immigration. Hell I'm only in Japan because of legal immigration. But illegal immigration only serves to undermine the entire legal immigration system and create opportunities for criminals to conduct human trafficking.

So are we blaming the gun in this argument? (What I mean to say is that are you inferring that criminal activity such human trafficking happens solely in the illegal migrant community? I know some social workers that would love to clear that up for you.)

Would his policy create problems? You bet. But those are problems we need to face like adults instead of pushing them aside and using them as excuses to not take action.

By that standard than what's so adult about handling your problems by throwing them all away?

Low wage worker gap? Increase minimum wage! You guys are long overdue for a minimum wage increase and that would encourage people to take those jobs. Create incentives for people to take jobs like janitor, farm hand, housekeeper, etc.

What does illegal immigration have to do with employers not wanting to pay more? Are illegals responsible for McDonald wages? NO.

The families part I don't see an easy solution for. Perhaps create a system where families seperated by deportation get on a short list for LEGAL immigration if they actually bother to do the paperwork

You're out of control but glad we found a middle ground.

back in 2008, people demanded everyone was voting for Obama because he is black. now you are mirroring that racist bullcrap.
every candidate running is white now, what the supporters of trump are, is not racist..they may arguably be xenophobes (a good debate with both pro and con reasoning here), but not racist.

Maybe it's time we become xenophobes. Closed the boarders, focus on fixing the country for a couple years. After all everyone keeps saying that we are making all the issues by "messing" in other countries issues.

Wonder how long we could do that before they all came beating on our door and asking for help again.

Think the Democrats will use that video to show the true nature of Trump supporters? It was a mob.

I don't think all Trump supporters are racists but apparently he does attract them and cuts them a lot of slack.

He should have condemned the actions in that video, but he didn't. What's that tell you?
what should it tell us that our president and media support an anti white racist group called BLM?

Just one problem..... Trump won't be running against Obama. That dog won't hunt amigo.

Without the minority and womens vote; Trump will lose to Clinton.

Plus...the neocons have't yet brought out the real skeletons in Trumps closet that will shut him down real fast. Just a matter of time.

In the off chance, he does get the nomination; ultimately he will be the neocon's bitch and do what ever they tell him to do. Just like Obama did.

political reality....this isn't Mayberry RFD!

The real power in America doesn't need the spotlight; with all the pomp and swagger like an adolescent boy that Trump displays.

The Peace of God to all that belong to the Light,
Dear Readers,

Let me thanks for the so many replies received in the thread, I was the person that opened it, but also let me remark some important aspects to consider when you post:

I encourage please all the members interested in the thread to remain in topic, also please refrain to launch personal attacks since they deviate the attention to other topics and also since they violate the norms of decorum and mutual respect in the communication.

This is the only way to let this thread to remain open for the free discussion of the subject along the remaining months of the campaign, a so necessary space of reflection on civil rights in 2016.

Now, if anybody here expect that Mr Trump is going to be recognized clearly by everybody as a Neo Nazi politician I think that is not a realistic hope, even Tyrants that are famous in History were not recognized in the very begining of their political careers as Totalitarian advocates.

Two clear examples of this are Adolf Hitler that was considered just as a patriotic German leaders in the 1920s and with no clear antisemitic ideas.

Pls check the first article ever published by New York times on this leader, to see how wrong was the appreciation on him in his early years:

www.vox.com...

query.nytimes.com...

Another classic example is Fidel Castro who emphatically denied to have nothing to do with communism or with Marxism in the 1950s when he even received a lot of support from the USA to do his revolution against Fulgencio Batista in Cuba.

www.pbs.org...

www.brainyquote.com...

I am not a communist and neither is the revolutionary movement. Fidel Castro

There has been many terrible dictators in History that have arrived to power offering justice, freedom, redemption, a kingdom of heaven on earth, other examples are Mao Tse Tung, Joseph Stalin, Napoleon Bonapart, Benito Mussolini, that are counted among the worst genocides ever existed.

I am not going to respond the so many attacks received in the thread for my convictions about Trump, since first I have showed enough evidence that they are not wrongly based and second since even today Mit Romney the GOP Nominee of 2012 has openly supported a very similar opinion of Donald Trump, even denouncing him as not a trully Republican.

The ideological Marxists were Guevara and, iirc, Camilo Cienfuegos. Castro was the pragmatist.

When Castro took over, one of the first things he did was contact the US about trading sugar for agricultural equipment. After all, the US is the nearest neighbour.

Eisenhower turned him away and Kruschev stepped in.

It was a short lived victory for Guevara, who was shipped out to Africa as soon as Castro could get the leverage.

Kennedy upped the ante, Castro doubled down and the rest is history.

So, yes, Castro was telling the truth at the time.

Dear Whodathunkdatcheese,

NO, you are dramatically wrongly informed, he was in the communist youths since at least 11 years before the Cuban Revolution.

Have you ever read something about the involvement and ulterior arrest of Fidel Catro-Ruz in El Bogotazo?

That was a huge explosion of Terrorist violence in the down town of Sta Fe De Bogota starting on April 9th 1948 and that last 9 days.

The balance were 20 blocks of the most important official buildings blocks of downtown of the Colombian Capital completely destroyed by fire, included the residence of the President and the National Capitol, 157 buildings in the downtown area suffering serious damage, 103 of these were a total loss, after the Assassination of Jorge E. Gaitan , Leader of the Majoritian Liberal Party and head of the opposition.

In Bogota were killed about in between 5000 to 7000 people in the streets plus a similar number of gravely wounded victims, under the crossed fire for nine days in between the Army and the subversive crowds of communists in which Fidel Castro took part.

Fidel Castro spent around six months in Colombian Jails due be arrested in possession of arms and subversive propaganda and Molotov bombs were found in his room in the Claridge Hotel. He was finally expelled from Colombia and forbidden to return anymore.

The investigation of the Bogotazo by the Colombian intelligence agencies and the Scotland Yard hired to uncover the origins of the conspiracy concluded that Castro and his fellow leftists Cubans were selected by the job in a decision that took place in Paris, during a "Jeunesse communiste" and Union des étudiants communists congress occurred few months before, by Euro communist and Soviet agencies, to trigger these terrible attack in order to boycott the 2nd Pan-American Conference where the OAS was founded.

Fidel Castro was hired in Cuba by the local youth communist organization, the same that two months ago launched a failed ousting operation against the Dominican government , leaded also by him. He planned a trip to Colombia in the same week of the inauguration of the Panamerican Conference as member of team of Cuban communist students youths, that were hosted in the National University distant just 3 miles to the North of down town Bogota.

en.wikipedia.org...

It seems Mr Castro, however spent the major part of the funds he received from Eastern Europe gambling in the Casinos of Caracas by early March of 1948 , so under the menace of his European partners of to be expelled from the youth branch of the Cominform, or Communist Information Bureau, he accepted also sponsorship from the Dictator Juan D Peron of Argentina, another country interested in to prevent the creation of the OAS, to complete his boycotting terrorist mission.

Thomas E Dewey, 1948 GOP nominee: "If the United States had the adequate intelligence service it should, it would have known about Communist plans for the Bogotá uprising in advance. Knowing what goes on in the world is just as important as knowing how to handle it. The Panama Canal is vital to our security. Yet because of the dreadful incompetence of our present government, we apparently had no idea what was going on in a country just two hours bombing time from the Panama Canal.

www.cia.gov...

His plan was certainly very smart, He tried first to convince Jorge E Gaitan, who supposedly was sympathetic of Euro communism, to support their movement against the OAS and when the Liberal Colombian politician rejected offers to lead a kind of coup d'etait against the Conservative Government he decided that the only way to achieve their goals was by eliminating Gaitan, knowing that his death should trigger a civil war in the country.

Castro then played simultaneously in two teams , both under totalitarian ideologies, at the same time: Latin-American Marxism and Peronism( Argentinian Nazism). It is not a coincidence that about 40 years after the Bogotazo Castro made friendship with another South American Dictator: Hugo Chavez.

Juan D Peron Nazi Ties

The following is from a New York Times editorial (April 14), 1948:
"Backing up the findings of the Colombian Government, Secretary of State Marshall and other delegates to the Inter-American Conference have now likewise accused Soviet Russia, and its tool, international communism, of instigating the riots that wrecked Bogotá and cast a pall over the whole Western Hemisphere. Basing their judgment on first-hand information and personal observation on the spot, they see in the tragic events which interrupted their deliberations the same powers and patterns at work as in the attempted insurrections in France and Italy. And that makes Bogotá, as Mr. Marshall said, not merely a Colombian or Latin American incident but a world affair, and a particularly lurid illustration of the length to which Russia is willing to go in its no longer (cold war) against the democracies."

Did you think Camilo Cienfuegos and Che Ernesto Guevara were the only two Leftist politicians that Castro sent to tomb in his career to absolute power?

The Peace of God to all that belong to the Light,
Dear Readers,

It seems the violence that the campaign of Donald Trump has agitated along the entire country, against the different segments of the population that are opposing to it, has reached levels that would make us think that no body is really safe anymore in this country of certain so dangerous crooks that are among who back him.

A pastor that supported publically the Republican candidate Texan Senator Ted Cruz suffered today a terrible attempt of assassinated just less than 24 hours after gave a speech endorsing him for the White House.

Pls check

idaho-pastor-shot-in-the-skull-after-praying-with-ted-cruz

www.foxnews.com...

www.cnn.com...

This is a so grave crime because it would suggest that also religious minorities or even majorities can be targeted by criminals that wants to intimidate the people who don't want Donald Trump arrives to the Presidency.

As the thread claimed in the very beginning a lot of terrible events in the last year seems to show that we are living not anymore a normal election in America, that we would be under a process that is being marred by extremely dark forces, possibly of the organized crime, that want to impose us a President that they like to see in the oval office after January of 2017.

If this turns to be an election in which an artificial majority is being pulled in favor of one candidate using methods that are typically Fascist or mob ones, it shouldn't be considered as valid or acceptable at all.

The Police an authorities have launched a giant man hunt to try to catch the murder that happen to be apparently an ex Marine, to avoid he can escape through the border with Canada.

Any similarity in between this Criminal background an another famous Marine in History, Lee Harvey Oswald, doesn't look to be just a mere coincidence.

This terrible news arrives just the same day that information was released in the web tying Trump with Mafia.

Pls check :

Trump challenged over ties to mob-linked gambler with ugly past

What is substantial here? we need to await of course that the police arrest the shooter, we hope they can reach him on time before to be able to evade to abroad.

Thanks,

Dear Readers,

This last weekend and beginning of week has been incredibly representative of the worst violence ever in this Presidential campaign against different groups by fanatics of Donald Trump.

We have the Saturday a tremendous clash of Trump sympathizers with peaceful protesters against him in such a way that the rally already programed was cancelled.

www.cnn.com...

www.bbc.com...

This is showing that even Donald Trump himself is unable to control the river of hatred and intolerance that his own rhetoric of so many months has created.

Today we see again more demonstration so intense racial violence directed against Hispanic and Muslim people also by Trump supporters.

www.yahoo.com...

So grave incidents of violence have occurred in Kansas, where Hispanic and muslim students were beaten by Trump supporters.

Did Trump actually create it I doubt it. What I see is a backlash from years of people being told they need to be politically correct. Society now is very quick to brand labels now like sexist, racist, anti simite etc all these accusations start to have repercussions. People get tired of trying to be politically correct and become brutally honest with their feelings. For example when someone says we need to close off out borders to illegal immigration this is really common sense but in a politically correct world many will say one thing and think another. Trump isn't creating the pro Lem but I do think he's tapped into something. I don't think Trump has been politically correct in his life he says what he thinks day that'd obvious. And in doing so a lot of amaricans feel the same just didn't have the courage to say so for fear of being called a racist etc.

So to say he caused this is niave he doesn't have the ability to brain wash people or hypnotize etc. What we are seeing is things that need to be brought out in to the open instead of kept in the shadows.Any country needs to have secure borders even in Europe they are coning to that conclusion as walls are being built. With terrorism rapant throughout the world unsecured borders invite an incident like Paris. Immigration is a good thing as long as the people you allow to immigrate can contribute to your country and not destroy it. Making sure they don't come in to your country and break laws or god forbid kill people again only common sense. Calling someone a racist or claiming they hate Muslims etc is silly you have no idea of their motivations or intent you simply place your preconceived notions in to play which often involves racism as well. Don't assume just because someone is Hispanic they want people to cross the border freely. And don't assume just because someone is muslim they want open borders remember many of them came here to escape the problems in their country and don't want it to follow them here.

Dear dragonridr,

I respectfully disagree with some of your remarks and statements, I feel Donald Trump is more responsible for the violence that it has exploided in different occasions around his rallies, but even if we give him the benefit of the doubt, that is really a very generous way to approach him, considering that people have been beaten brutally by either his supporters or his security( Hispanic, Muslim, African Americans, Journalists) he is calling for violence in advance if he is not the nominee in the GOP convention.

Pls Read:

www.washingtonpost.com...

The words of his speech of Yesterday celebrating his winning of various primaries on this second Super Tuesday of the campaign, are pretty worrying, since they suggest that he is look like blackmailing what he call the establishment that if they try to stop him his supporters could take the streets to committee terrible acts of violence.

He can't do this, in many occasions in the past extremely divided conventions have proclaimed as nominee a candidate that was not the most voted in the primaries.

Pls check:

It happened in the 1940 Republican convention

en.wikipedia.org...

As well as in the 1924 and 1952 Democratic Conventions,

en.wikipedia.org...

en.wikipedia.org...

So if no body has really the required number of delegates to assure nomination there is no way that one candidate menace the party that consequences can be if he is not the nominee, that is pretty unconventional and not professional at all.

Everything at this point suggest that we are approaching gradually to an extremely chaotic GOP convention, one that can resemble the mess of the Democratic convention of 1968 in Chicago.

Pls Check:

en.wikipedia.org...
