Ummm...

In truth

This table
is a world unto it’s own
Where salt resides
Where check stubs make their home
Where pens and unpaid bills collectively
Proclaim in truth
We are a part of thee

Plastic fleshed

The buttons of this world
they call to me
Caress my plastic fleshed
technology
Like a lovers voice
seductively
Command my very mood
so magically

Until

The beer sat there so cool
enticingly
Almost as if to say
come drink of me
Yet I have found
It did not satisfy
Until a case
had passed my liver by

Ummm...Hello light...It's funny...these were actually three different poems...they do seem to fit together if you use a big enough hammer though...
