What exactly is the appeal here.

People pissed of at the system and the quality of candidates being given to them.

Hillary, Cruz,Rubio = Bigger gov't , less privacy, more war, more taxes, more debt, more Oligarch friendly laws at the expense of the middle class.

Trump: 50/50 chance going full retard

So I can understand his appeal and why the individual republicans are pushing for him even though he is likely to be a false prophet like Obama.

The question is why is the DNC who actually has a better choice throwing it away on Hillary?

The R.N.C. will indeed throw the election to Hillary if either Trump or Cruz gets the nomination. How stupid can they be? Four more years of Obama is all we'll get from Hillary and we've had enough of that already!

With either Trump or Cruz we might even have war and given the decimation of our military under Obama, I don't like the prospects of anything like that right now either!

With either Hillary or Sanders we can look forward to more taxes and even less attention spent on national defense. Just more and bigger government and wage stagnation. And worse still with Sanders socialism. What a mess!
With Gov. Kasich of Ohio we get good policies, smaller government, lower taxes, and a capable solid experienced candidate who would beat Hillary or Sanders and lead the country in the correct direction.

Sad that Carly Fiorana, who would be an excellent vice presidential choice on any ticket, has endorsed the disingenuous Cruz, probably in a last ditch effort to dump the Trump!

There are many folks who are "fiscal conservatives" that aren't "traditional conservatives".

We believe people should keep what they earn, and not in Bernie's socialism.

However, we aren't of the Bible Belt persuasion, and couldn't care less about abortion or gay marriage, etc. (issues we consider dead and buried, as the will of the people has been expressed and made into law).

While many Trump supporters are the typical "Muricans" they are painted to be, there is also a large contingent of my type of Trump supporter.

We're white (and tired for being punished for it), middle-aged, tired of PC bullcrap, and yes, educated. We've read up on the candidates, their plans, books if they wrote them, and looked at their record. (this is where Bernie falls flat, he's a "B" politician record-wise, at best, and he's pretty much older than dirt...).

While we may not agree with his antics, or views some stretch into bigotry, we do like his fundamental ideas of what to do about different topics (such as his tax plans, ideas on medical reform, etc.), and we believe he has the ability to broker deals that put American interests first (not those who bought and paid for the candidate's campaign). We also believe he's the kind of guy that would actually DO something about threats we face, such as ISIS, etc. We're not dumb, we know the whole policy of containment is because we're prolonging the Syrian conflict to frustrate Russia. But, there comes a time when the moral duty to eradicate such scum simply outweighs it.

Look, I like Cruz too, but the guy sounds like a weenie (I know it's petty, but damn...). Can you imagine that voice trying to intimidate Putin? Of course, he's bought and paid for by the super PAC special interest groups at this point.

I'm also realistic though. I think Hillary will have the numbers. But, the popularity of Trump has definitely caused some sleepless nights for the puppet masters, and I'm all for that. The other GOP candidates are paid for puppets that simply don't have the stones to be President. (I will give that to Hillary...she has the stones for it)...she's just so corrupt as hell, with a trail of bodies in her wake.

Sad that Carly Fiorana, who would be an excellent vice presidential choice on any ticket, has endorsed the disingenuous Cruz, probably in a last ditch effort to dump the Trump!

I don't know how excellent she'd be. Anyone who did business with her would certainly say otherwise. I think Trump would pick Paul Ryan for a VP pick. He's already said he wants some establishment people with him, to actually get things through...and he's been in contact with Ryan lately.

Clinton will win but she'll be a disaster for the country. Cruz is a disingenuous religious fanatic, and Sanders is an out and out socialist.

But to support the right wing extremist Trump would be a huge mistake in my opinion, and your reasons for doing so notwithstanding, I must respectfully differ and simply don't agree with you. But I do respect you opinion and your right as an American to freely express them.

In any event, thank you in advance for reading my comments! BTW, How about Gov. Kasich of Ohio. I think he can beat Clinton, whom neither of us want, and he can unite the party and our country!

How is Bernie a better choice?

The guy never had a steady job until his 40's, and THEN it was politics.

So, for decades, he's been in politics, and sponsored TWO bills (both involve naming Post Offices). Not exactly A game material here.

Add to this, he's OLD, and I mean a year shy of average life expectancy old. Look, I'm not all for harping on age, but with thim, there is a VERY real chance we're actually electing his VP pick to be President at some point. Just look how much the office aged the last two Presidents....

So, where the hell does the idea of making him President even come from? I mean seriously, it is kind of out of nowhere...which is suspicious as hell.

If anyone ever bothered to actually READ the details of his plans, they'd also realize that he isn't just putting forth taxing the rich. Oh sure, they'll bear the brunt of it, but the average middle income family stands to pay an addition $4 K per year to pay for his plans. I don't know about you, but I'm not crazy about voting for a pay cut, especially for benefits that I won't even see (my college is done, and my kids would be way better off going to a trade school vs. college these days). Can't outsource an electrician like you can middle management.

Thats exactly why the republicans are pissed at the GOP. The republicans have done those exact same things as the democrats . The only difference has been WORDS.

Its not stupid for them . The DNC and the GOP are not about party ideals they are about making sure the RIGHT Oligarch candidate gets picked.

That is why when Obama ran they picked the candidates most likely to lose McCain and Romney. Ron Paul was exactly what the GOP talks about more rights, less govt , more state rights, less tax, etc. Instead the RNC attacked Ron Paul purposely because they wanted a democrat to win in order to pass the lobbyist Oligarch obamacare.

That is also why the GOP would rather pick Hillary than trump this election and are looking to seal the fate of Obamacare.

The following is the earnings after obamcare went through for the 3 biggest health insurance companies. They put to much money and resources in obamacare to only have it reversed this election cycle. That is why they need a democrat and not only a democrat but Hillary, because sanders already talks about removing the insurance companies from obamcare.

Its not that a republican would repeal it because they wouldn't ,its that it would be easier for the public to swallow if Hillary seals obamcares fate

Who?

(and that's the problem).

If you go up to 10 people and mention his name, chances are maybe 2 might know who he is.
A little late in the game for that. He's simply got no chance. Why he's even still in the race is anyone's guess, regardless of the fact he's a decent candidate.

Sadly, you are right on the money.

Rubio is still only in it because the GOP thinks he has a shot at Florida (denying Trump of 99 delegates). He doesn't though...Rubio will lose Florida. He's already polling 20 points behind Trump, and he's the CLOSEST one.... Once Florida picks Trump, you'll see Rubio drop out of the race (and likely endorse Cruz, like he's told).

I agree that the R.N.C. likes to shoot themselves in the foot. But the entire country loses if Trump is nominated and I'm all for the efforts to dump the Trump. Also lets lose the Cruz. I'm for Gov. Kasich of Ohio!!

linky

The clintons are proven liars even under oath , constantly surrounded with scandals , un accountable money , conflict of interest, bad judgement at best with the email server, and is currently being looked into by the FBI concerning a criminal act.

Heck my dog is more trust worthy and more respectable to have in office, than either of those two.

Bernie I look forward to a lame duck congress because the current Oligarch would not want socialism they have something better. So his socialist ideals dont bother me.

My only expectation from bernie is to have him continue doing what he is doing as president. That is to bring conflict of interest and corruption to the forefront. Having a president discuss corruption is a very small step to progress in the future. I don't see hillary doing that.

I see Rubio is way behind Trump in his own state of Florida. That is too bad. But what a shame if Rubio then turns around and endorses the disingenuous religious zealot, Ted Cruz, who is almost as bad a candidate as is Trump!! Clinton will be able to beat Cruz just as easily as she will beat Trump.
