Two stories presently breaking.

Migrants have knocked down the fence at the Greece/Macedonia border after storming it and the officials have used tear gas and in the Jungle camp in Calais tear gas has been used on some of the migrants who have been throwing stones at the people who have been ordered to demolish a big chunk of the camp.

Welcome to the wonderful EU. The laughing stock of the World. This has now been going on for 12 months with a never ending trail of Middle Eastern and African migrants making their way to Europe unabated and yet nothing has been done to stop the flow from Turkey to Greece.

More and more borders are being built in Countries all across the Balkans and Macedonia is only accepting Syrians and Iraqis. There are thousands of migrants from Pakistan, Somalia etc being refused entry and they are now stuck in Greece. Spring is round the corner and this is going to get completely out of hand for Greece unless armed forces ard sent to deal with migrants who have no right to be here. The behaviour today shows how this could easily turn violent and spread as word gets out.

The media also should be held accountable. The migrants who are holding nice, clean piecex of A4 paper with words "open borders"sprawled on them have obviously been set up for the cameras. This worked last year in the migrants carrying on unabated but I dont think it will this time. In fact if they are not careful the borders will be closed to everyone if the violence esculates.

David Cameron has held the referendum in Junr I believe because heknows with another Summer on its way if things esculate in Europe then many Brits will be swayed by this and vote to leave. However, I think he had planned on things esculating after the referendum. Seems he is not going to get his wish if today events are anything to go by. I will definitely be voting to get out of this madness.

I have said many, many times on this board that Greece has been

well and truly screwed by the EU economically, and now they are

hit with a double wammy in the emigration situation.

I feel so sorry for the Greek people their main 'product' tourism

will be taking a knock. I wonder how long they can keep going

like this?

And David Cameron thinks the UK will be "Safer and Stronger*

within the EU

Is he deaf and blind
or just plain stupid?

A lot of migrants are economic migrants and so therefore are illegal.

People need to be reminded that its their own responsibility if they choose to journey to a country they have no right to enter legally.

Time to tell many of these people we don't need you, we don't have the facilities neither do we have the job opportunities you seek. Sorry - but there it is.

Precious little is being said about the mess and cost of all these people tramping across countries at a time when most countries are virtually broke. Although the media concentrates on the threat of terrorism precious little is said about the threat of diseases or the health care cost many of these people are going to require especially where its culturally acceptable to marry first cousins down the generations.

A complete rethink about the whole situation needs to be carried out and also pressure on Saudi to take immigrants instead of thinking its too high and mighty to accept people into its country. After all Saudi is involved in creating some of the trouble in the ME.

To keep this in proportion I think we should remember how our own people have been treated. Footage of the worst violence was disappeared very quickly. Only the tamer footage is available.

I've seen homes bulldozed with all possessions inside then scooped up and buried under mud on the tip.

We didn't get all these handouts and we didn't throw stones. Much.

This is a horrendous situation. Those like Liz Clegg, who is a lifeline for women and children in the Calais camp, should be applauded for their efforts. Those feeding the criminals are making it all worse.

Luvvie Jude Law went there full off ignorance and his minders got attacked and robbed. A bit of down to earth honesty would help.

A member of my family has an African appearance. He was working picking apples in Belgium. Many of his co-workers were African migrants. He was shocked when several of them told him the same story. They said they were saving money to move to London where they would buy a big bag of coc aine cheap from a source sympathetic to their cause. Then they intended to turn it into crack. Sell it to whitey. Destroy whitey's health and take all his money. Then, in their own words, 'marry their daughters and move into their houses'. A bit of honesty wouldn't go amiss.

Lumping racist crack dealers and honest war refugees under one banner hasn't happened by accident.

Edit to add. We did get handouts. Enough to eat.

"Migrants " who are aren't welcomed into a country and then still try to get in aren't Migrants, they are illegal invaders. The message is getting clearer and clearer from Europe, the open gate is now closed. They have finally figured out they can't absorb any more without it effecting their own citizens negatively. About time, IMO.

I remember the Battle of the Bean field at Stone Henge and was disgusted by what I saw on the tv. That was pretty much the start of my change in political view plus having a very good friend as the BBC cameraman who told me a few horrendous home truths about how our media is edited for the public before it becomes the news.

You raise very important points that sometimes get forgotten although you can see how we put migrants into hotels whilst our own homeless people especially if from the forces are left on the streets. Our government has a lot to be proud of I don't think.

Can you, or anyone, shed light on why the Saudis are not taking in what basically amounts to their own people? Maybe I've missed that somewhere. But, most especially since the Saudis hold the laughable position in the UN of handling "Humanitarian " issues.

I agree, But maybe the saudis knows the threat these refugees poses, and the refugees knows what kind of #ty system
that faces them if they flee in that direction. stay and fight for your chosen lifestyle dont come here and try to implement it,
that should be their goal, and shelter should only be given to women with children or children without parents.

I can see a lot of these Migrants getting hurt unless they turn around and go back to where they came from. This whole mess should have been sorted out a year ago at Calais before the camps got so huge! Why did the French leave it for so long?

For all the outcry about Trump there are many in UK and Europe who agree with some of what he says.

When I see a woman walking round holding a childs head shouting Allah I definitely think Europe and Russia could take a leaf out of his book. I for one dont want people coming living here following such an evil ideology and I call that sane,a reply to: YouSir

When you knock down a fence after storming it, what do you expect to happen?

Police removed one person from his roof and have demolished his house.

One person who was filming the police was arrested without any reason then released. Police still managed to delete some of the footage.

Removed from his roof. Deleted some footage. These cops are such brutal bullies. I'm reliably informed a young aid worker was cruelly treated by the Calais police. The tied him to a lamp post. Then ate their delicious cheese and bread in front of him. Then let him go. These cops are monsters.

There is one major negative if The U.K. leaves The E.U.

At present U.K. immigration checks are carried out in Belgium and France, under the Juxtaposed Controls. Information here:-

en.wikipedia.org...

If The U.K. pulls out of The E.U. then those immigration controls will be pulled back to The U.K. The French & Belgium's will just let those
illegal immigrants sail on it Britain and then it becomes our problem.

Well they just may have to swim the channel
.... There are not too

many people capable of that.

We will have a coast guard to repel invaders, It served us well in two world

wars.
