Please don't say this garbage......that's the reason we're in this mess in the first place.

APATHY KILLS.

I cant muster up the care to be concerned about my apathetic views.

What you say may be true, but public opinion and precedent are very dangerous things to what may actually be true and right.

Most of these people out here actually think gun violence is a problem, when it isn't nearly as much of a problem as dying while driving to work in a vehicle accident.

Not even considering the right to defend one's self....

When people get to determine how you can defend yourself, then the line has been crossed from freedom to nanny-state.

I like guns.

Bernie Lost my vote. No way im letting him bring socialism and take my guns. No sir. I don't care if its an assault style ban or BB gun ban. I should be able to pack the same heat as law enforcement and some military.

Ill tell you what though if some day we get rid of all guns in the world and there is world peace then Piss off im keeping my guns.

Please do not mistake my meaning. The civilians in America would stand no chance against the American military regardless of the weapons they were allowed to keep

Tell that to 'terrorists' over in the middle east the US government has been fighting for over 40 years.

At what point does the 2nd ever state it is there, or was created for "hunting"?????

Just as predicted. Sanders is as big of a moron as everyone thought he was.

The terrorists who are fighting U.S. forces are fighting with weapons and training provided by Russia and the U.S. from past mistakes and shenanigans.

They are well supplied, how long could you hold out with your powder stores, bullets and reloading dies?.

Not very long at all.

Best think of more feasible ways of defying those who believe themselves to be in positions of authority by avoiding having them send their gangs of ignorant kids in a quest for college after their neighbors and friends and family, because enough of them will give pursuit.

Approach the issue from another direction before the doors close to all but avenues of desperation.

"The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

It's a social program created for "being necessary to the security of a free State". There were already laws for murder and crimes against the individual, you know, christian nation and all that.

Can you or anyone answer the question.

Not following how your post has anything to do with my question.

I'm not anti gun or anything. But your statement is retarded. Islam is a religion, not a weapon of war. It's an ideal, not something you can purchase. Every religion has a few lunatics. Gun ownership isn't a religion. For most it's a peace of mind. Religion can't be taken away or restricted from those lunatics. Guns however can. You know, because their tangible.

I'm not advocating gun control, nor do I think it's ever possible anyway. Almost 8 years of a democratic President has seen nothing change in gun policies. Despite the fact that angry white ppl have been screaming that Obama is coming to take your guns away, it's a total and complete lie. Hell in his first 2 years in office he was more pro-gun than George W Bush and was given the worst grade possible by anti-gun lobbies.

At what point did I say it did? Or that I agreed with sanders? Or did I state anything other than the OP title is not what Sanders actually said?

The sentence itself answered your question.

ETA: Why would they even mention hunting? Hunting was life.

People like Sanders know this. Anti gunners KNOW this too.

It is dumbfounding how there is even 'gun control' in this country when our government gives WORSE things to any 'friend' elsewhere.

Since 'assault' weapons are good in their hands how can they be 'bad' in ours?

It doesn't.

Anyone with a modicum of reading comprehension skills knows the second talks about two separate but equal things.

A well regulated MILITIA.

The RIGHT of the PEOPLE.

To Keep and bear arms.

Shall not be infringed.

It was a limitation placed on the FEDERAL STATE that said they could not DENY the STATES the RIGHT to have militia's.

And the RIGHT of the people to have ARMS.

Nowhere did it mention 'hunting'.

I have friends from around the world that just can't wrap their head around Americans and their neurotic obsession with firearms. It mystifies them and utterly confuses them.

I have to remind them that we're a very young nation, and 200-300 years ago (3-5 generations) -- guns were critical in securing our independence, taming the west, and quelling insurrection.

Tell them to read the Bill of RIGHTS.

Particularly the second through the 10 that deal with our RIGHT to keep and bear arms, and our rights to due process, and crimes be proven in courts of law.

And end with the 14th amendment that talks about life,LIBERTY, and PROPERTY.

It shouldn't 'mystify' anyone.

The entire reason for being of the BILL of RIGHTS.

Limitations placed on the STATE Not the people.

That's a two-way street. I think its safe to say that many of us can't understand the apparent foreign obsession with American gun rights and laws, either.

Why was the 2nd put in place?????? I beg you to please, do us all a favor and instead of allowing your hyper emotion to lead your fingers down the path of BS, go and research why it was created.

Here is a hint. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HUNTING.
