I support Bernie because he is a good person. You don't need a law for that. Ok, so I guess i am a democrat socialist.

So, him wanting to take away the right of all Americans to own guns makes him a good person?...

Him wanting to control the Feds by nominating who will control the Feds makes him a good person?...

Him wanting to make the government control all land, and property "for the good of all" makes him a good person?...

A lot of dictatorships started under "supposed good intentions for the good of all"...

When you impose your will over everyone else's no matter what your reasons are, that does not make you a good person. It makes you a dictator.

You can't see it because you don't understand it. You are a capitalist who owns more land than most people in the United States and the world. Yes, there are others who own even more land, but still you are in a top tier in society and make more money than most Americans do. Yet you hate this? You hate being able to give a good life to your family? You want instead for the government to control your land, and distribute it's harvest, and your earnings as the government sees fit "for the good of all"?...

Look at Venezuela. If you scrape away all the euphemisms, and lies that Sanders tells, what happens in Venezuela is the form of socialism Sanders wants to implement in the U.S.A.

Venezuela bans private gun ownership

1 June 2012
From the section Latin America & Caribbean

Venezuela has brought a new gun law into effect which bans the commercial sale of firearms and ammunition.

Until now, anyone with a gun permit could buy arms from a private company.

Under the new law, only the army, police and certain groups like security companies will be able to buy arms from the state-owned weapons manufacturer and importer.
...

www.bbc.com...

Just like Bernie Sanders Chavez hated the fact that people in his country owned firearms, and introduced a ban on firearms and ammunition...

Guess what happened in Venezuela?... Crimes with guns increased just like in Britain after gun bans...

Even thou in Venezuela firearms and ammunition were banned, crime surged and those who support/supported socialism "wanted the State to do more to stop crimes with illegal firearms

...
'Must do more'

The government has been running a gun amnesty in the run-up to the introduction of the new law to try to encourage people to give up their illegal arms without fear of consequences.

One member of the public in Caracas told the BBC: "They're killing people every day. This law is important but they need to do more, they're not doing enough now."

Hugo Chavez's government says the ultimate aim is to disarm all civilians, but his opponents say the police and government may not have the capacity or the will to enforce the new law.

Mao Zedong

^^^^^^
This is why I could never vote for Bernie. People like him can't control what they set in motion. He might not be the one who starts pulling the trigger ... but his successor probably would.

We don't need a mass extermination over ideology in the USA. And, if it has to happen, I want to be on the delivering end ... not the receiving. I'm prepared. Are you?

Don't care about Venezuela. Never fell for that crap about becoming China either.

Thank you, that was a good read. I am happy with my choice. If Bernie were all that, he would not have been re elected so many time. I will go with the evidence I can see.

You mean like Chavez promised and how he was voted even though about half of the country were against him and his socialist goals?

You mean like socialists, and even democratic socialists who embrace Marxist doctrine re-invented as Marxist revisionism?...

Socialism of the 21st century (Spanish: Socialismo del siglo XXI) is a political term used to describe the interpretation of socialist principles advocated first by Heinz Dieterich in 1996 and later by Latin American leaders like Hugo Chávez of Venezuela, Rafael Correa of Ecuador, and Evo Morales of Bolivia. Socialism of the 21st century argues that both free-market industrial capitalism and twentieth-century socialism have failed to solve urgent problems of humanity, like poverty, hunger, exploitation, economic oppression, sexism, racism, the destruction of natural resources, and the absence of a truly participative democracy.[1] Therefore, because of the local unique historical conditions, socialism of the 21st century is often contrasted with previous applications of socialism in other countries and aims for a more decentralized and participatory planning process.[2] Socialism of the 21st century has democratic socialist elements, but primarily resembles Marxist revisionism

Guess where that idea came from?

Eduard Bernstein (6 January 1850 – 18 December 1932) was a German social democratic political theorist and politician, a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and the founder of evolutionary socialism, social democracy, and revisionism. Bernstein had held close association to Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, but he saw flaws in Marxist thinking and began to criticize views held by Marxism when he investigated and challenged the Marxist materialist theory of history.[1] He rejected significant parts of Marxist theory that were based upon Hegelian metaphysics; he rejected the Hegelian dialectical perspective.[2]

Bernstein distinguished between early Marxism as being its immature form: as exemplified by The Communist Manifesto written by Marx and Engels in their youth, that he opposed for what he regarded as its violent Blanquist tendencies; and later Marxism as being its mature form that he supported.[3] This mature form of Marxism refers to Marx in his later life acknowledging that socialism could be achieved through peaceful means through legislative reform in democratic societies.

Don't bother listening to him, he does this everywhere. Bernie will not turn America into the USSR, 'nor could he do so if he tried. That isn't what he intends to do, however, so it's rather moot.

Yeah, I kind of figured he didn't really care who I supported. Just using me for spreading his propaganda.

Sanders claims he wants "the good of all" but in reality he knows very well the amount of power socialism, or as it is called now the revisionist form of socialism known as democratic socialism/social democracy, will give him.

The truth is people like Sanders love power more than anything else.

He has stated quite clear, despite trying to lie his way through, that he wants to ban firearms.

He has stated that as President, he will give himself the power to nominate who controls the Fed/federal Reserve.

Deep down inside people like Sanders love to control and love power.

Socialism is the perfect weapon to make people believe "it is for your own good that the government controls it all"...

But don't vote for Trump, he'll be a dictator.

But don't vote for Cruz, he'll turn the US into a theocracy.

Vote for Bernie, he WON'T turn the US into the USSA.

Since when did this thread turn into who I am supporting? The thread is about Sanders, and him wanting to ban firearms. bTW, in case you didn't know, even hunting rifles can kill people, and Sanders wants to ban all firearms that "can kill, or hurt others"...

How is recognizing the huge problem of gun violence a "fantasy world?"

It's you gun worshippers that live in fantasy.

You think violence goes down without the guns ?

You are in the fantasy of ALL fantasies.

Bernie said: “Nobody should have a gun who has a criminal background, who’s involved in domestic abuse situations. People should not have guns who are going to hurt other people, who are unstable. And second of all I believe that we need to make sure that certain types of guns used to kill people, exclusively, not for hunting, they should not be sold in the United States of America, and we have a huge loophole now with gun shows that should be eliminated. Coming from a rural state, I think I can communicate with folks coming from urban states where guns mean different things than they do in Vermont where it’s used for hunting."

I can go with that.

Now who are supporting or kiss off.

What types of firearms are specifically made to kill people?

Do you have any examples?

Because all, let me repeat that, ALL firearms are designed to propel small lead objects into soft body parts.

That's why I have them. To deter criminals.

Because if they break into my house, I will use this type of tool to propel small lead bits into soft body parts.
